The Ethnological Museum, Addis Ababa, in Ethiopia, is a public institution dedicated to ethnology and culture. The Ethnological Museum houses anthropological, musicological and cultural objects. The Ethnological Museum is the first university museum in Ethiopia. The Museum is located in the main Campus of Addis Ababa University which houses the Institute of Ethiopian Studies.

Addis Ababa University (AAU) (Amharic: አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ) is a national university located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is the oldest university in Ethiopia. AAU has thirteen campuses. Twelve of these are situated in Addis Ababa, and one is located in Bishoftu, about 45 kilometres (28 mi) away. AAU has several associated research institutions including the Institute of Ethiopian Studies. The Ministry of Education admits qualified students to AAU based on their score on the Ethiopian University Entrance Examination (EUEE).

The Yekatit 12 is a monument in Addis Ababa commemorating victims of Italian reprisals following an attempt to kill the Marshal Rodolfo Graziani, marchese di Neghelli, Viceroy of Italian East Africa, on 19 February 1937, or Yekatit 12 in the Ethiopian calendar. It is located in the centre of Sidist Kilo (Amharic, "Six Kilometre") Square, also called "Yekatit 12 square".

The Federal Supreme Court of Ethiopia (Amharic: የኢትዮጵያ ፌድራል ጠቅላይ ፍርድ ቤት) is the highest court in Ethiopia. It was established by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia constitution in 1994 and is currently located in Addis Ababa. Article 78 of the Constitution establishes the judiciary and at the top is the FSC. By the Constitution, the Federal Supreme Court has "the power of cassation over any final court decision containing a basic error of law". In 2018, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed appointed Meaza Ashenafi to be the first female president of the Federal Supreme Court. Solomon Areda Waktolla was appointed as Vice President of the Federal Supreme Court. Both were resigned by the Parliament on 17 January 2023, and replaced by Tewodros Mihret and Abeba Embiale as Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court respectively.

The National Museum of Ethiopia (NME), also referred to as the Ethiopian National Museum, is a national museum in Ethiopia. It is located in the capital, Addis Ababa, near the Addis Ababa University's graduate school.

The Hager Fikir Theatre (Amharic: ሃገር ፍቅር ቲያትር) is a theatre in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is one of the oldest and foremost theatre in Ethiopian history; hosting as multipurpose artistic venue over half decades.

Istituto Statale Italiano Omnicomprensivo di Addis Abeba or the Scuola Statale Italiana di Addis Abeba is an Italian governmental international school along Belay Zeleke Street in Arada, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Owned by the Italian government, the school has primary, lower secondary, and liceo upper secondary levels. The school shares its campus with the Italian cultural centre, and the school occupies three buildings. As of 2015 there were 570 students, many of whom were Ethiopians and other non-Italians. There were 44 teachers from Italy, 12 local teachers, and 27 auxiliary personnel.

The Federal First Instance Court (Amharic: የፌድራል የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ፍርድ ቤት) is the first-level court division in Ethiopia. The FDRE Constitution delegates judicial jurisdiction to the First Instance Court, along with the High Court and State Courts. It is headquartered in Addis Ababa in Kirkos district, with expectations of expanding new branches in all districts of Addis Ababa.

Jan Meda Sport Ground or Jan Meda, is a large field in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. With an area of 25,000 square kilometers, the sport ground hosts Jan Meda International Cross Country as well as social and religious events, most notability, the Timkat celebration held there.Commissioned by Emperor Menelik II to commemorate Ethiopian victory during 1896 Battle of Adwa, the ground is dedicated to St. George. Menelik, his royal family and entourages used the field for horse racing and polo. Jan Meda is a compound word of Jan (Janhoy, meaning "His Majesty King") and Meda ("field"). Thus, it is called "King's field". Jan Meda is a large open space located in north-eastern of Addis Ababa.

Saint George's Cathedral (Amharic: የቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስ ካቴድራል) is an Ethiopian Orthodox church in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The cathedral is noted for its distinctive octagonal form. It is located at the northern end of Churchill Road in the city.

The Statue of Menelik II is an equestrian statue located near St. George's Cathedral in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The statue was erected by Empress Zewditu in 1930 in coincidence of coronation of Ras Tafari, later reigned as Emperor Haile Selassie. The monument depicts Emperor Menelik II sitting in the horse, holding flag of Ethiopia and his sword, symbolizing his ultimate patriotism and grace during the Battle of Adwa (1896). It was sculpted by the German architect Carl Haertel.
