Strathallan

Carsbreck railway station was a private station opened on the Scottish Central Railway near Carsebreck Loch, the Royal Caledonian Curling pond, between Stirling and Perth for the use of the curlers belonging to the Royal Caledonian Curling Club. It was first named by the Scottish Central Railway as 'Royal Curling Club Station, a host of later names being Caledonian Curling Society's Platform, Curling Pond Halt, Royal Curling Club Platform, Royal Curling Club Station, Netherton Halt and finally as Carsbreck Station. It is unclear how many of these were official names. The site lay in the parish of Ardoch, Perth and Kinross with the villages of Braco, Greenloaning and Blackford nearby. The Scottish Central Railway line had been opened in 1848.

South Tayside Goose Roosts is a composite wetland site to the west of Perth in central Scotland, covering a total of 331 hectares, which has been protected as a Ramsar Site since 1993. Incorporating three disconnected sections, separated by several kilometres, the site contains seven freshwater lochs along with other wetland habitats, including one of the largest raised bogs in the region.The site is contiguous with three Sites of Special Scientific Interest: Carsebreck and Rhynd Lochs SSSI, containing Lower Rhynd, Upper Rhynd and Carsebreck Loch, as well as the raised bog known as Shelforkie Moss. Drummond Lochs SSSI, containing Drummond Pond and Bennybeg Pond. Dupplin Lakes SSSI, containing Dupplin Loch and Pitcairnie Loch.The roosts support internationally important populations of greylag geese and pink-footed geese. As well as being recognised as a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention, South Tayside Goose Roosts has also been designated a Special Protection Area and a Special Area of Conservation.

It is 1 mile (1.5 kilometres) south of Braco and 5 miles (8 kilometres) north of Dunblane.The Allanbank Hotel existed as an inn between the 18th century and early 21st century. It was founded by the Monteath family. It was also the site of the Strathallan Farmer's Club founded in 1804.Greenloaning is the home of the Greenloaning Burns Club.Greenloaning railway station was closed in 1956, but part of the station building still survives.Greenloaning Primary School was permanently closed in June 2019 by Perth and Kinross Council.

Braco ( BRAY-koh) is a village in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, with a population of 515. It is located 5 miles (8 kilometres) north of Dunblane towards Perth off the A9 road.

Black Hill Roman Camps are two Roman camps that are part of an extensive complex of Roman military sites centred around the fort at Ardoch, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. They were built along the Gask Ridge during the re-conquest of Scotland by the emperor Septimius Severus.The camp is about 0.5 miles (0.80 km) north of the Ardoch Roman Fort in Braco.

Tullibardine distillery is a Scottish distillery since 1949, producing a single malt whisky. The whisky distillery is located in Blackford, Perth and Kinross, close to the Ochil Hills and the Danny Burn, their main water sources.The distillery was mothballed in 1995 by then owner Whyte & Mackay. In 2003, it was sold to Tullibardine Distillery Ltd, who resumed production. In 2011, the distillery was sold to the French firm Picard Vins & Spiritueux. This firm in 2013 created an entity for the spirits named Terroirs Distillers.The distillery produces several types of single malt whisky, including "Aged Oak Edition Single Malt Whisky" and "Sherry Finish Malt Whisky", and related liqueurs.Tullibardine Distillery runs a visitor's centre.

Blackford (Scottish Gaelic: Srath Gaoithe) is located in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, approximately 5 miles (8 kilometres) from the town of Auchterarder. The village is located just off the A9 between Perth and Stirling which has been bypassed since 1978. It is home to Highland Spring water and the Tullibardine whisky distillery.

Glenbank was the site of a Roman fortlet associated with the Gask Ridge in Scotland. It was discovered from aerial photography by G. S. Maxwell in 1983. It was confirmed by geophysics and excavations which were carried out in 1984 and 1999. It is beside the Roman road that linked the forts at Ardoch and Doune. It is currently the most southerly of the known Gask fortifications. It was probably built around 70-80 AD. Several other Gask installations have been identified running north to Bertha.The site is south of the Allan Water close to the A9 road. It seems to have been deliberately demolished by the Romans when they abandoned it.

The Battle of Sheriffmuir (Scottish Gaelic: Blàr Sliabh an t-Siorraim, [pl̪ˠaɾ ˈʃʎiəv əɲ ˈtʲʰirˠəm]) was an engagement in 1715 at the height of the Jacobite rising in England and Scotland. The battlefield has been included in the Inventory of Historic Battlefields in Scotland and protected by Historic Scotland under the Scottish Historical Environment Policy of 2009. Sheriffmuir is a remote elevated plateau of heathland lying between Stirling and Auchterarder on the north fringe of the Ochil Hills.
