Francesc Macià is a Trambaix station and a projected metro station located in the Plaça de Francesc Macià, Barcelona, crossed by the Avinguda Diagonal, in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district. This stop is the terminal for the three Trambaix routes (T1, T2 and T3). Also it is planned to be a Barcelona Metro station, which is due to be served by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) L8, as part of the station's enlargement towards Gràcia. It would be located on the Plaça de Francesc Macià, in the district of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi. Since this area is one of the few left without a direct metro connection after the completion of L9 and L10, it has been demanded by the neighbours and has featured in some of the ambitious proposals for transportation in the city since the 1960s. Namely in the projects for a line VI and for a Diagonal line.The current project to enlarge line L8 would connect that line with the Trambaix tram system, and it would connect Plaça d'Espanya and some areas of the metropolitan area of Barcelona it goes through with this square.

Plaça de Francesc Macià (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈplasə ðə fɾənˈsɛzɡ məsiˈa]) is a square in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Located in one of the main business areas of the city, it is one of the most transited points of Barcelona. It is crossed by Avinguda Diagonal and several other major thoroughfares: Avinguda de Josep Tarradellas, Travessera de Gràcia, Carrer del Comte d'Urgell and Avinguda de Pau Casals. It is part of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district, even though it borders two other districts of Barcelona: Les Corts and Eixample. It is named after Francesc Macià (1859-1933), Catalan president during the Second Spanish Republic who proclaimed a short-lived Catalan Republic. The central part of the square contains a pond modelled after the shape of Menorca, the birthplace of its architect, Nicolau Rubió i Tudurí, as well as feminine sculpture called Joventut ("youth") designed by Josep Manuel Benedicto, added in 1953. Spanish-language newspaper La Vanguardia is based in Avinguda Diagonal 477, within square limits.

Les Corts (Catalan pronunciation: [ləs ˈkoɾts]) is one of the ten districts into which Barcelona, Spain has been divided up since 1984, numbered IV. It was created in 1897 out of two former municipalities: Les Corts de Sarrià and some parts of Sarrià (the remaining of which went to become the current district of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi). It had 82,588 inhabitants in the 2005 census, which makes it the least populous district of the city. It is located in the western part of the city, next to three other districts of Barcelona : Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Eixample as well as Sants-Montjuïc, and two municipalities of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and Esplugues de Llobregat.

Avinguda de Josep Tarradellas, often known as just Avinguda Tarradellas, is an avenue in Barcelona. Most of it is in the Les Corts district of the city, while the rest acts as the border of two other districts: Sants-Montjuïc and Eixample. It starts at Plaça dels Països Catalans, by Barcelona Sants railway station, and ends at Plaça de Francesc Macià. It's named after Josep Tarradellas, the first president of the Generalitat de Catalunya in office after the Spanish transition to democracy.

Sant Gervasi – Galvany is a neighborhood in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). The name of the neighborhood refers to Sant Gervasi de Cassoles, which was one of the parts of the former municipality of Sant Gervasi de Cassoles; and the Camp d'en Galvany urbanization which was begun in 1866 by its owner, Joseph Galvany Castelló. The Galvany name became popular when the market Galvany was built, located between the neighborhood streets Santaló, Calaf, Amigó and Madrazo, and the market has a plaque on the facade of Santaló street recalling that Josep Galvany Castelló gave the land on which the market was built to the municipality. It occupies the area between Av. Diagonal, Av. de Sarrià, General Mitre, Balmes and Via Augusta. This area corresponds approximately to the neighbourhood of Lledó which took its name from the old Mas Lledó in the division of neighbourhoods approved by the Sant Gervasi town hall in 1879. The population of the neighborhood are mainly of upper class extraction and the oldest part is around the streets of Sagués i Amigó. From the 1950s onwards numerous new buildings have been constructed, the most luxurious of which are to be found in Muntaner street. Today it is a neighborhood with a lively nightlife due to the large number of bars, restaurants and nightspots, especially around Santaló and the surrounding streets. Muntaner is a railway station located at the intersection of the Via Augusta with the Carrer de Santaló and Carrer de Muntaner, in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona. During off-peak periods it is served by line L6 of the Barcelona Metro, together with lines S1 and S2 of the Metro del Vallès commuter rail system. During peak periods, additional services are provided by lines S5 and S55 of the Metro del Vallès system, whilst service on line L6 is reduced or removed altogether. All these lines are operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, who also run the station.The station has twin tracks, with two side platforms and a central island platform. The side platforms are used for boarding, whilst the central platform is used for alighting, a configuration that is known as the Barcelona solution.The line on which Muntaner station is located opened in 1863, but the first station on the site did not open until 1908. The current station was opened in 1959, when the line through the station was put underground.

Entença is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Carrer Rosselló in the Eixample, between Carrer Entença and Carrer Rocafort. It was opened in 1969. The side-platform station has a ticket hall on either end, the eastern one with one access at Carrer Rocafort, the western one with one access at Entença.
