Estadio Maracaná is a football stadium in Panama City, Panama. It was inaugurated in April 2014 and has a capacity of 5,500. It is the home stadium of Club Deportivo Plaza Amador. It was named after the legendary Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It will be used to host matches during the 2020 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup with the country and Costa Rica.

Balboa Heights (Spanish: Altos de Balboa) was more or less part of the Panama Canal township of Balboa, existing on the edge of it towards Ancón, with some of it on the lower slopes of Ancon Hill. It wasn't really a proper township in terms of having anything other than residential neighborhoods, but it got its own map page in the Canal Zone telephone book.

Figali Convention Center (or Amador Convention Center) is an indoor sports arena, in Fort Amador, Panama City, Panama. The capacity of the arena is 25,000.Built in 2003, as the main venue for the Miss Universe 2003 Pageant, which took place in Panama that year. Since then, it has been used mainly for many concerts and sports events, such as boxing and ice skating.

Fort Amador (Spanish: Fuerte Amador) and Fort Grant were former United States Army bases built to protect the Pacific (southern) end of the Panama Canal at Panama Bay. Amador was the primary on-land site, lying below the Bridge of the Americas. Grant consisted of a series of islands lying just offshore, some connected to Amador via a causeway. Fort Sherman was the corresponding base on the Atlantic (northern) side. All of the forts were turned over to the Republic of Panama in 1999, and the area is now a major tourist attraction.

The International Maritime University of Panama (in Spanish: Universidad Marítima Internacional de Panamá, UMIP) is a maritime college in Panama City, Panama. It trains cadets to become merchant marine ships' officers. It is located in the Albrook area of Panama City, on the site of the former Albrook Air Force Base. Today, the Maritime university is experiencing one of its best times. Their cadets are recognized for their leadership, respect, honor, loyalty, discipline, and non-tolerance of dishonest acts. It belongs to the international association of maritime universities, being the only one in Central and South America to achieve this step. Its main building (Building 810 in Albrook) was severely damaged by a fire in January 2008, although there were no injuries or fatalities. The fire is believed to have started in a storage area on the building's top floor.UMIP was established by a law passed in 2005, and it absorbed the former Escuela Náutica de Panamá, which was founded in 1958. The university's rector (president) is Víctor Luna Barahona.

El Chorrillo is a corregimiento within Panama City, in Panamá District, Panamá Province, Panama with a population of 18,302 as of 2010.

Amador is a corregimiento in La Chorrera District, Panamá Oeste Province, Panama with a population of 2,996 as of 2010. Its population as of 1990 was 1,925; its population as of 2000 was 2,675. The Biomuseo is located in Amador.

Way On Cemetery is a burial place in Panama City for the country's Chinese community, many of whose ancestors immigrated during the construction of the Panama Railroad in the mid-nineteenth century. The plot was purchased in 1882 by the Sociedad Way On and designed in accordance with feng shui and numerology traditions. Construction began the next year, and the first interment was in 1911. In 1942, due to a shortage of burial places in the city, half of the property was forcibly leased by the government, but it was returned to the Chinese community in 2002. Today, traditional Tomb Sweeping ceremonies are held annually and funeral ceremonies are performed regularly.Despite its stone wall enclosures and towering entrance gate, Way On has suffered from vandalism in recent years, and faces ongoing threats due to development pressures and lack of site maintenance. The site was included on the 2012 World Monuments Watch and is classified as "Rescue Needed" by Global Heritage Network.

The Bridge of the Americas (Spanish: Puente de las Américas; originally known as the Thatcher Ferry Bridge) is a road bridge in Panama which spans the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. Designed by Sverdrup & Parcel, it was completed in 1962 at a cost of US$20 million, connecting the north and south American land masses. Two other bridges cross the canal: the Atlantic Bridge at the Gatun locks and the Centennial Bridge.

Ancon Hill (Spanish: Cerro Ancón) is a 199 metres (653 ft) high hill that overlooks Panama City, Panama, adjacent to the township of Ancón. Ancón Hill is an area in Panama that was used for administration of the Panama Canal. It was under U.S. jurisdiction as part of the Panama Canal Zone until being returned to Panama in 1977. Largely undeveloped, the area is now a reserve. The hill includes the highest point in Panama City. The summit of the hill can be reached by a 30-minute hike. According to a local Ancon resident, at this time it is no longer possible to drive to the summit of Cerro Ancon (February 12, 2017). Relatively undeveloped it includes jungle in an otherwise urban area, and wildlife still survives cut off from other jungle areas. It is not uncommon to see sloths, white-nosed coati, nine-banded armadillos, Geoffroy's tamarins, or deer on Ancon Hill, which now has protected status. Its name is used as an acronym by a Panamanian environmental group, Asociación Nacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (ANCON). The lower slopes contained residences and Gorgas Hospital. Higher up were the residence of the Governor of the Canal Zone and Quarry Heights, where the United States Southern Command was located. Quarry Heights was named for being adjacent to a large rock quarry on one side of the hill, which left a visible cliff face on one side. The hill contains an abandoned underground bunker once manned by the US Southern Command. At the top are two broadcast towers and a small road that reaches them. One-way vehicular traffic is now allowed during daylight hours. Hikers can use the road to reach the summit, and the hill is a popular jogging and hiking trek. Along the path, all manner of vegetation and birds can be seen, including a large number of orchids (which are protected by CITES).

Biomuseo is a museum focused on the natural history of Panama, whose isthmus was formed very recently in geologic time, with major impact on the ecology of the Western Hemisphere. Located on the Amador Causeway in Panama City, Panama, it was designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry. This is Gehry's first design for Latin America. The design was conceived in 1999 and the museum opened on 2 October 2014.The Biomuseo highlights Panama's natural and cultural history, emphasizing the role of humans in the XXI century. Its galleries tell the story of how the rise of the isthmus of Panama changed the world.
