To protect other stations on 1250 AM from interference, it uses a directional antenna with a four-tower array. The studios and transmitter are co-located on West Grange Avenue in Hales Corners.

Whitnall, who was Milwaukee's first Socialist City Treasurer from 1910 - 1912 and designed the Milwaukee County Parks System.

WVCY-FM is the flagship station of the VCY America Christian radio network, airing a mix of talk and teaching programs and traditional Christian music. The station has multiple FM translators in Wisconsin and other Midwest states and is simulcast on WVCY 690 AM in Oshkosh. WVCY-FM is a Class B FM station, with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 43,000 watts. The transmitter is on Beloit Road at SW 124th Street in New Berlin.

Alan Kulwicki Memorial Park is located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. The park is in the city of Greenfield, Wisconsin and it features a building with memorabilia commemorating its namesake, NASCAR driver Alan Kulwicki. The building is an Alan Kulwicki museum. The park was financed and maintained by private donations and Milwaukee County Park System involvement. In 1996, the project to create the park received a US$250,000 donation from Hooters chairman Robert H. Brooks. There is a pavilion on the property which is maintained and operated by the Greenfield Lions Club. In addition baseball diamonds found in the park are maintained by the Greenfield Little League Baseball teams.

WRNW focuses on Wisconsin-based sports shows, while WOKY mostly airs national programs from Fox Sports Radio, including Dan Patrick and Colin Cowherd. WOKY's studios and offices, which became the home of all iHeart Milwaukee stations in 2000 after a building expansion, are on West Howard Avenue in Greenfield. By day, WOKY is powered at 5,000 watts. To protect other stations on 920 AM from interference, it reduces power at night to 1,000 watts. It uses a directional antenna with a four-tower array. The transmitter site is behind the studios in Greenfield. WOKY broadcasts using HD Radio technology.

Boerner Botanical Gardens are botanical gardens located on the grounds of Whitnall Park in the village of Hales Corners, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. The gardens are named for Alfred Boerner, who designed the original five formal gardens. The Annual, Perennial, Rock, Rose and Peony Gardens were constructed in the 1930s. Later additions included trial, herb, lily and shrub rose gardens, as well as the Bog Walk. Part of the Milwaukee County Park System, the gardens are maintained by professional horticulturalists. Many species of plant life are cultivated and displayed. The gardens include test and display gardens for All-America Selections, and is an American Hosta Society Display Garden.Boerner Botanical Gardens is open from late April to early November, and closes for the winter.Within the gardens and adjacent to them in Whitnall Park, and along the Root River Parkway is the arboretum, which showcases arranged groves of trees and shrubs. Nearby are the Wehr Nature Center and the historic Trimborn Farm estate, which are also maintained by the county park system.

Wehr Nature Center is a 220-acre (89 ha) nature preserve located in Hales Corners, Wisconsin: it is part of Whitnall Park. It was named for philanthropist Todd Wehr whose foundation donated $200,000 USD to help build the center.
