Chevy Chase is a neighborhood in southeastern Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Cooper Drive to the south, Tates Creek Road to the west, Fontaine Road to the north, and Chinoe Road to the east.

Chevy Plaza and Chevy Chase Center was a proposed two-building, nine-story residential and commercial development in Lexington, Kentucky. It would have been located at East High Street and Euclid Avenue and at East High Street and South Ashland Avenue.The $25 million project, first proposed on March 19, 1984, would require the reconstruction of nearly two city blocks in the Chevy Chase district of the city, involving 12 separate properties. The development company, Progressive Companies, owned numerous properties in the district. The first nine-story structure, titled Chevy Plaza, would have included two or three floors of retail shops with residential condominiums for the remainder. It would have been located at the southwest corner of East High Street and Euclid Avenue where WDKY-TV now resides; at the time it was a KFC fast-food restaurant. The second tower would be called Chevy Chase Plaza and would have been located at the southwest corner of East High Street and South Ashland Avenue. It would feature retail shops on the ground floor and eight floors of residential condominiums. Both structures would have included a parking garage. It would be constructed in three phases, with construction beginning in late 1984 with the completion date coming in 1986. The development was unique in that it would require no public dollars or bond issues, however, it would require a zoning change for the location. The surrounding properties would have featured numerous streetscape enhancements, such as the inclusion of gaslights, new trees, canopies, and a fountain at Chevy Plaza.

Ashland Park is a historic early 20th century neighborhood in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. It was named after Ashland, the estate of Kentucky statesman Henry Clay which is located in the eastern portion of the neighborhood. The 600-acre (2.4 km2) development was designed by the famous landscape architecture firm the Olmsted Brothers of Massachusetts. The neighborhood belongs to the National Register of Historic Places. Prominent architectural styles of houses and apartment buildings in the neighborhood include American Foursquare, American Craftsman, Colonial Revival, and Tudor Revival.The neighborhood's boundaries are Ashland Avenue to the west, East Main Street (U.S. Route 25) to the north, Chinoe Road to the east, and Fontaine Road to the south. The commercial district of Chevy Chase borders Ashland Park on the south. In 2000 the population was 1,864.

Ashland is the name of the plantation of the 19th-century Kentucky statesman Henry Clay, located in Lexington, Kentucky, in the central Bluegrass region of the state. The buildings were built by enslaved African Americans, and enslaved people grew and harvested hemp, farmed livestock, and cooked and cleaned for the Clays. Ashland is a registered National Historic Landmark. The Ashland Stakes, a Thoroughbred horse race at Keeneland Race Course that has run annually since the race course first opened in 1936, was named for the historically important estate.

Montclair is a neighborhood in southeastern Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Providence Road to the north, Montclair Drive to the south, Tates Creek Road to the east, and the University of Kentucky to the west.

The Diocese of Lexington (Latin: Dioecesis Lexingtonensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory, or diocese, in southeastern Kentucky in the United States. It was erected on January 14, 1988. The diocese is a suffragan in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Louisville. The Diocese of Lexington provides education for approximately 4,300 students in its 15 elementary schools and two high schools located throughout the diocese, and maintains Newman Centers at eight of Kentucky's colleges and universities.

Shriners is a neighborhood in southeastern Lexington, Kentucky, United States. It takes its name from the former Shriners Hospital for Children located within it. Its boundaries are Richmond Road to the east, Chinoe Road to the north, Cooper Drive to the west, and Lakeview Drive to the south.

Cliff Hagan Stadium (Officially named Shively Field at Cliff Hagan Stadium) was a baseball stadium located in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Cliff Hagan Stadium or better known to Kentucky Wildcat baseball fans as "The Cliff" is on the southwest side of the university's campus, two blocks away from Kroger Field. Since its opening in 1969, the University of Kentucky Baseball called this place home for just under 50 years. The Wildcats then opened a $49 million baseball stadium called Kentucky Proud Park in 2019. Cliff Hagan Stadium had 7 coaches during its time and 15 All Americans. The stadium was renamed in 1993 in honor of Cliff Hagan, the Basketball Hall of Famer who had played at Kentucky during the 1950s under Adolph Rupp and returned to Kentucky as athletic director after his professional basketball playing days. It was extensively renovated in 2002. Following its final 2018 season, while construction was ongoing on its nearby replacement, it was used for UK baseball summer camps. In 2021, “The Cliff” has been an abandoned stadium for over 2 years and is not in use. In the wake of the Wildcats' surprising success in the 2006 season, which saw them win a regular-season Southeastern Conference title for the first time in over 30 years, coach John Cohen was signed to a five-year contract extension. A clause in the contract commits the university to either renovating or replacing the stadium. If construction on a new or renovated stadium does not start in 2008 or sooner, Cohen was free to walk away from the contract without a financial penalty. However, Cohen left the program at the end of the 2008 season for his alma mater Mississippi State, where he served as athletic director from 2016 to 2022. His assistant Gary Henderson was then given the head coaching job.

Columbia Heights is a neighborhood in southeastern Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are the University of Kentucky to the south, Woodland Avenue to the west, Euclid Avenue to the north, and Marquis Avenue to the east.

The E.J. Nutter Training Facility, also called the Nutter Center, is a college football training facility on the University of Kentucky campus built for practice and training of the Kentucky Wildcats football team.The facility was built to honor Ervin J. Nutter, a UK alumnus from Ohio, who contributed money to build the facility and was active in alumni affairs.

Mentelle Park in Lexington, Kentucky, is a boulevard district of the Mentelle neighborhood. The district includes 48 residential structures facing Mentelle Park between Richmond Road and Cramer Avenue. Entrances to Mentelle Park at Richmond Road and Cramer Avenue feature limestone pillars. The neighborhood was developed in 1905, and homes in the district were constructed 1906–1934. Four styles of architecture are evident, including American Foursquare, Colonial Revival, Colonial Revival Cottage, and Bungalow. Foursquare and Colonial houses are two stories, and Bungalows and cottages are 1+1⁄2 stories. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.Mentelle Park is named for the Mentelle family, and developers purchased 14 acres from heirs of Rose Mentelle in 1905 and formed the Mentelle Company. Lexington mayor Thomas A. Combs was president of the company. The land was purchased by Waldemarde Mentelle Jr., in 1854 and deeded to his sister, Rose Mentelle, upon his death in 1886. The company developed 56 home sites along an extended block with a segmented median, and the 48 contributing resources in the district are part of the original development.

Woodland Park is a neighborhood located immediately south of downtown Lexington, Kentucky, United States. It is composed of several small neighborhood associations. The neighborhood is alternatively named Aylesford and is sometimes referred to by locals as "Chevy Chase". However, Chevy Chase is actually a separate neighborhood located southeast of Woodland Park. The neighborhood's boundaries are Rose Street to the north, Main Street to the east, Euclid Avenue to the west, and Clay Avenue to the south.Woodland Park long ago was the property of Mr. Irwin, son-in-law of Henry Clay, and was the site of the Agricultural College when it was established as a branch of Kentucky University in 1865. Every year the Woodland Arts Festival brings artists all over central Kentucky to share their talents for purchase. There is also Ballet Under the Stars which occurs near the gazebo.
