Eastside is a neighborhood in southeastern Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Walton Avenue to the north, CSX railroad tracks to the east, Richmond Avenue to the south, and Main Street to the west.

Kenwick is a neighborhood in southeastern Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Sherman Avenue to the south, East Main Street to the west, railroad tracks to the north, and Richmond Avenue to the north.

Ashland Park is a historic early 20th century neighborhood in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. It was named after Ashland, the estate of Kentucky statesman Henry Clay which is located in the eastern portion of the neighborhood. The 600-acre (2.4 km2) development was designed by the famous landscape architecture firm the Olmsted Brothers of Massachusetts. The neighborhood belongs to the National Register of Historic Places. Prominent architectural styles of houses and apartment buildings in the neighborhood include American Foursquare, American Craftsman, Colonial Revival, and Tudor Revival.The neighborhood's boundaries are Ashland Avenue to the west, East Main Street (U.S. Route 25) to the north, Chinoe Road to the east, and Fontaine Road to the south. The commercial district of Chevy Chase borders Ashland Park on the south. In 2000 the population was 1,864.

Ashland is the name of the plantation of the 19th-century Kentucky statesman Henry Clay, located in Lexington, Kentucky, in the central Bluegrass region of the state. The buildings were built by enslaved African Americans, and enslaved people grew and harvested hemp, farmed livestock, and cooked and cleaned for the Clays. Ashland is a registered National Historic Landmark. The Ashland Stakes, a Thoroughbred horse race at Keeneland Race Course that has run annually since the race course first opened in 1936, was named for the historically important estate.

Bell Court is a neighborhood and historic district immediately southeast of Downtown Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are East Main Street to the south, Walton Avenue to the south, Midland Avenue to the north, and Boonesborough Avenue to the east.

Woodland Park is a neighborhood located immediately south of downtown Lexington, Kentucky, United States. It is composed of several small neighborhood associations. The neighborhood is alternatively named Aylesford and is sometimes referred to by locals as "Chevy Chase". However, Chevy Chase is actually a separate neighborhood located southeast of Woodland Park. The neighborhood's boundaries are Rose Street to the north, Main Street to the east, Euclid Avenue to the west, and Clay Avenue to the south.Woodland Park long ago was the property of Mr. Irwin, son-in-law of Henry Clay, and was the site of the Agricultural College when it was established as a branch of Kentucky University in 1865. Every year the Woodland Arts Festival brings artists all over central Kentucky to share their talents for purchase. There is also Ballet Under the Stars which occurs near the gazebo.

The Charles Young Park and Community Center is a park and community center complex located in the East End neighborhood of Lexington, Kentucky. The park land was purchased by the city of Lexington in 1930, and the community center opened in 1935. Under the Jim Crow system, Lexington parks were racially segregated in the early 20th century, and Charles Young Park was the second park in Lexington available to Black residents after Douglass Park. The park is named after distinguished United States Army officer Charles Young. The park features a splash pad and outdoor basketball courts, and the community center hosts a variety of events for all ages. The park and community center were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016, recognizing its contribution to the Black history of Lexington.

The Woodlands, located at 408 East Main Street, is a nine-story condominium building in Lexington, Kentucky. It includes a restaurant and a covered parking structure. Construction was completed in 1984.Tenants can own condominiums or rent, making it a great downtown living location.

Fairway is a neighborhood in southeast Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Sherman Avenue to the north, railroad tracks to the north, Richmond Road to the west, and the Idle Hour Golf Course to the south.

The Kentucky Association (also known as the Kentucky Racing Association) was formed on July 23, 1826, to promote the breeding and racing of Thoroughbred horses in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. The "oldest turf organization in America", it was founded by a group of prominent locals, who included planter and politician Henry Clay, Jesse Bledsoe, Dr. Elisha Warfield, and Thomas F. Marshall. Between 1828 and 1834, the Association acquired 65 acres of land in an area of the city of Lexington, Kentucky that today is the east end of 5th Street at Race Street. On the property, the Association built a one-mile dirt racetrack with grandstand and stables to host Thoroughbred flat racing events.

The Second Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at 460 E. Main Street in Lexington, Kentucky. Construction began on the church in 1922, and it was dedicated in 1924; it was the third building used by its congregation, which was founded in the 1810s. Architects Cram & Ferguson designed the Gothic Revival church; Frankel & Curtis are also associated with the building. The church's main entrance features multiple gabled buttresses, a balcony under a large arched window, and a gable at its peak. On the west side of the church, a buttressed tower rises from the roof to a steep spire.The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Chevy Plaza and Chevy Chase Center was a proposed two-building, nine-story residential and commercial development in Lexington, Kentucky. It would have been located at East High Street and Euclid Avenue and at East High Street and South Ashland Avenue.The $25 million project, first proposed on March 19, 1984, would require the reconstruction of nearly two city blocks in the Chevy Chase district of the city, involving 12 separate properties. The development company, Progressive Companies, owned numerous properties in the district. The first nine-story structure, titled Chevy Plaza, would have included two or three floors of retail shops with residential condominiums for the remainder. It would have been located at the southwest corner of East High Street and Euclid Avenue where WDKY-TV now resides; at the time it was a KFC fast-food restaurant. The second tower would be called Chevy Chase Plaza and would have been located at the southwest corner of East High Street and South Ashland Avenue. It would feature retail shops on the ground floor and eight floors of residential condominiums. Both structures would have included a parking garage. It would be constructed in three phases, with construction beginning in late 1984 with the completion date coming in 1986. The development was unique in that it would require no public dollars or bond issues, however, it would require a zoning change for the location. The surrounding properties would have featured numerous streetscape enhancements, such as the inclusion of gaslights, new trees, canopies, and a fountain at Chevy Plaza.
