Napa High School, established in 1897, is a four-year comprehensive high school located in Napa, California. The high school is a comprehensive high school of 1860 students. It is one of three comprehensive high schools in the Napa Valley Unified School District. The other comprehensive high schools are Vintage High School and American Canyon High School. In addition, the district has a small technology high school, New Technology High School; a Catholic high school, Justin-Siena High School; and four comprehensive middle schools fed by 19 elementary schools.

Vintage High School is a public, comprehensive high school with a student body count of over 1800. It is one of three comprehensive high schools in the Napa Valley Unified School District. The other comprehensive high schools are Napa High School and American Canyon High School. In addition, the district has a small technology high school New Technology High School, an Independent Studies school, an alternative high school (Valley Oak), and four comprehensive middle schools fed by 21 elementary schools. Assignment of students to the high schools is determined by the elementary area in which the student resides. In 1996, the California Department of Education recognized Vintage as a California Distinguished High School. In 1997, Vintage was selected as a California Department of Education Digital High School. Vintage has also received a California Distinguished High School award in 2009.

Kolbe Academy & Trinity Prep is a private school in Napa, California. It offers grades from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade and embraces a classically based Catholic educational model. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Santa Rosa, though it operates independently.

Milliken Creek is an 11.9-mile-long (19.2 km) stream in Napa County, California, that is a tributary to the Napa River. There are approximately 7,300 acres (3,000 ha) in this watershed, of which 90 acres (36 ha) are developed as vineyards. Milliken Creek rises on the western slopes of the east side of the Napa Valley and flows through the Silverado Country Club property. Much of this watershed property had once been part of the Mexican land grant Rancho Yajome, which had been granted to General Mariano G. Vallejo. Most of this watershed was wilderness area to at least 1869, and thereafter the lower watershed was begun to be developed as pasture and grazing agricultural uses. In a 1989 stream survey by Earth Metrics, the steelhead fishery was found to be robust up to and including the Silverado Country Club.

La Toque is a restaurant in Napa, California. Chef Ken Frank opened the restaurant in 2008. La Toque serves contemporary cuisine and has received a Michelin star. Fodor's has described the food as French-inspired modern American.

The Sam Kee Laundry Building, also known as the Pfeiffer Building, is a historic building located at 1245 Main St. in Napa, California. Built in 1875, the building is the oldest stone building and commercial building in Napa. The building has a generally simple design topped by a decorative Italianate cornice. As of 1880, the building was part of a brewery, which may have been the first brewery in Napa; it has since housed a boarding house, a saloon, and a laundry. The building currently houses the Vintner's Collective, a wine tasting bar. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 1, 1974.The building was damaged by the 2014 South Napa earthquake. It was reopened in January 2015, and as of August 2015 continued to undergo restoration of its exterior.

The Napa Valley Wine Train is a privately operated excursion train that runs between Napa and St. Helena, California. Much of the rail line parallels State Route 29 after leaving the City of Napa and passes the towns of Yountville, Rutherford and Oakville. The route passes by many of the region's vineyards and wineries located in Napa County. The Wine Train is operated by the Napa Valley Railroad (reporting mark NVRR). Some of the NVRR equipment is marked NVR.

The Thomas Earl House, at 1221 Seminary St. in Napa, California, is an Italianate style house which was built in 1861. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.It is significant for its association with Thomas Earl (1825-1893), a leading citizen in Napa for four decades.The 2014 South Napa earthquake caused severe damage to the house, which was built with "21-inch-thick walls using an early form of concrete that lacked the strength of modern Portland cement". Marc Porat and his wife Claire Tomkins purchased the damaged house in 2017, planning to convert it into a ten-room retreat center for use by corporations. Their original plan was to move the house 12 feet (3.7 m) east and renovate it, and that concept was approved by Napa's cultural heritage commission, planning commission and city council early on 2020. Experts later concluded that moving the house all at once could result in destruction of the historic structure. Working with architect Tim Deming, the owners developed an alternative plan to cut the external walls into sections for removal, restoration and reassembly on a new steel frame set on a new foundation over a newly excavated basement, a process called "panelization". Although city staff expressed concern about the process, the cultural heritage commission approved the plan in December, 2020. Porat promised that the "end product will be identical".

The Buford House in Napa, California, at 1930 Clay St., was built in 1877. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.It has Italianate or Romano-Tuscan style.

Ubuntu was a vegetarian restaurant in Napa Valley, California which also operated a yoga studio. It opened in 2007, and closed in 2012. The New York Times listed it as one of the ten best new American restaurants.
