Ponsongath (Cornish: Pons an Gath) is a hamlet west of Coverack in west Cornwall, England.In 2017 Ponsongath Methodist Church merged with the Methodist church at St Keverne.The name Ponsongath comes from the Cornish language Pons an Gath, which means 'the cat bridge'.

Laity Moor is a hamlet 2 miles (3.2 km) north-west of Penryn in Cornwall, England. The name derives from the Cornish "goon lety" meaning "dairy downs". (Laity is thought to mean "dairy", from "lait" meaning "milk", and "-ty", meaning "house".) The Laity family come from there. It is in the civil parish of St Gluvias. The former Methodist chapel at Laity Moor has served as the Orthodox Church of Archangel Michael and Holy Piran since 1996.

CSM is located at the Penryn Campus, near Falmouth, Cornwall, UK. The school merged with the University of Exeter in 1993.

Founded as Falmouth School of Art in 1902, it was later known as Falmouth College of Art and Design and then Falmouth College of Arts until 2012, when the university college was officially granted full university status by the Privy Council.The university is located in Penryn and Falmouth. Ponsanooth (Cornish: Pons an Woodh, meaning "bridge at the stream") is a village and civil parish in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is about four miles southeast of Redruth and two and a half miles northwest of Penryn on the A393 road Redruth to Falmouth road. In 2019 it had an estimated population of 1184.The church of St Michael and All Angels is now part of a larger benefice, sharing a single vicar with Mabe. Also the village has a shop which includes a post office, village hall, primary school and a public house called The Stag HuntThe River Kennall runs nearby: in the 19th century, this river worked a flour mill and a number of gunpowder mills (http://cornishstory.com/2021/05/17/kennall-gunpowder-mill-co/), machinery at a foundry, and a paper mill. The gunpowder mills supplied many of the mines of west Cornwall until 1910, by which time gunpowder had been largely replaced by high explosives. The site of one of the ruined mills is now within a Nature Reserve. Frederick Hamilton Davey the botanist (died 23 September 1915) was born at Ponsanooth and was buried in the Wesleyan Cemetery there.

The campus is occupied by two university institutions: Falmouth University and the University of Exeter, with the shared buildings, facilities and services provided by Falmouth Exeter Plus.Located on a site bought in 1998, the campus was developed via the Combined Universities in Cornwall (CUC) scheme with finance from the EU and the UK Government and was opened in 2004.

Perranarworthal (Cornish: Peran ar Wodhel) is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is about four miles (6.5 km) northwest of Falmouth and five miles (8 km) southwest of Truro. The parish population at the 2011 census was 1,496.Perran Wharf is the area of the parish beside the River Kennall (a tributary of Restronguet Creek) where there were wharves and a quay. This has been developed into Perran Foundry where there are new homes and working space settled amidst the history of the site. The other settlements in the parish are Perranwell and Perranwell Station. Perranwell railway station is on the Maritime Line. Perranarworthal parish is bordered on the north by Kea parish, on the east by Restronguet Creek and Mylor parish, on the south by St Gluvias and Stithians parishes and on the west by Gwennap parish.

St Piran's Church is an active Anglican parish church in Perranarworthal, Cornwall, England. It is part of a united benefice consisting of eight churches, the Eight Saints Cluster, in the parishes of Stithians with Perran-Ar-Worthal and Gwennap. The benefice has four licensed clergy and four readers. The church, dedicated to Saint Piran, is in the Carnmarth, North deanery, the archdeaconry of Cornwall and the Diocese of Truro. The church was granted Grade II* listed status in May 1967. The churchyard contains several listed chest tombs and headstones.

Mabe (variant: La Vabe, Cornish: Lannvab) is a village and civil parish in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is situated one mile (1.6 km) west of Penryn.Mabe parish is bounded by Stithians and Ponsanooth to the north, Budock to the east, Mawnan and Constantine to the south and Wendron to the west. Mabe parish is twinned with the Breton town of Primelin. Mabe parish population was 2,083 at the 2011 census, whereas the ward population covering a larger area was 5,802The parish lies at the eastern edge of the Carnmenellis Granite intrusion. It is surrounded by several working and closed quarries. The Argal and College reservoirs lie to the south of the village. The settlement of Mabe Burnthouse is situated on a hill overlooking Penryn and to the southwest is the location of the parish church, the Church of Saint Laud, which is dedicated to Saint Laudus, Bishop of Coutances.
