The Lycée Pierre Mendès France is a French private lycée (high school) in Mutuelleville, Tunis, Tunisia. It was founded in 1956 as an annex of the Lycée Carnot of Tunis, and originally named the "Lycée Francais de Mutuelleville." It was renamed in honor of politician Pierre Mendès-France on the occasion of President François Mitterrand's 1983 visit to Tunisia. President Jacques Chirac visited the school in December, 2003. He caused some controversy when he told the students "Wearing a veil, whether we want it or not, is a sort of aggression that is difficult for us to accept."It is a part of the Établissement Régional de Tunis (ERT) along with two primary schools, the École Georges Brassens and the École Robert Desnos.

Mutuelleville is a district of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. It is located north of the downtown area, and borders Parc du Belvédère to the southwest. The main street through Mutuelleville is Avenue Jugurtha. Mutuelleville is known as a more upper-class area of Tunis, and it is home to many of the city's foreign embassies and other diplomatic offices. The Tunis Institute of Fine Arts (French: Institut supérieur des beaux-arts de Tunis) is a fine arts institute in Tunis, Tunisia. Founded in 1923, its seat was located at the Dribat Ben Abdallah near Tourbet el Bey with its former name Tunis School of Fine Arts. The Institute of Tunis contributed to the rise of the plastic arts movement in Tunisia, particularly after the Second World War.

The Tunisian Internet Agency, known by its acronym ATI (short for Agence tunisienne d'Internet) and created on 12 March 1996, is the principal Tunisian ISP. It is run by the Ministry of Communications and has an equal mission to promote Internet usage in that country. The ATI also has the task of contributing to the installation of networks in various fields (health, education and agriculture), to manage the national network and domain name (.tn) to launch websites and organize trainings and workshops. Its customers are other ISPs, government agencies, state-run firms, research centres, etc. The ATI can thus regulate the entire national network because, except for public ISPs such as Tunisie Telecom, the 5 private suppliers Orange Tunisia, 3S Global Net, HexaByte, Ooredoo Tunisia and Topnet depend on it for the network's management.
