Moosalb (Alb)

Moosbronn is a village in Germany in one of the deepest parts of the northern Black Forest, about 25 km south of Karlsruhe. It is a famous place of pilgrimage and belongs to the municipality of Gaggenau.

The Bernstein is a mountain, 693.5 m above sea level (NHN), in the Northern Black Forest within the borough of Gaggenau (estate of Rotenfels), and the borough of Bad Herrenalb, (estate of Bernbach). It is part of the ridge that borders the lower Murg valley on its eastern side. The summit of this mountain is formed by a six-metre-high crag made of bunter sandstone with a flat top, 25 m² in area, from where there are good views.

The Mahlberg is a mountain in the northwest of the Northern Black Forest and, at 612.5 m above sea level (NHN), is the highest point in the Baden-Württemberg county of Karlsruhe and the parish of Völkersbach. Its eastern side belongs to the municipality of Malsch in Karlsruhe and the western side to the borough of Gaggenau in the county of Rastatt.

Bad Herrenalb is a municipality in the district of Calw, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated in the northern Black Forest, 15 km east of Baden-Baden, and 22 km southwest of Pforzheim. The town is connected to the city of Karlsruhe by the Albtalbahn, an electric railway that forms part of the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn. Bad Herrenalb is the terminus of one of the branches of the Albtalbahn, which operates as line S1.

The Teufelsmühle (908.1 m above sea level (NHN)) is a mountain south of Loffenau in the Northern Black Forest. It lies between the valleys of the Murg in the west and the Alb in the east. The Alb rises near the eastern flank of the mountain (at the Albursprung), before reaching Bad Herrenalb a few kilometres further north. Over the summit plateau of the Teufelsmühle, which runs in a north-south direction, runs the boundary between the municipalities of Gernsbach in the Murg valley and Loffenau, both of which belong to the Baden-Württemberg county of Rastatt.

Malsch is a municipality in the district of Karlsruhe, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated 15 km south of Karlsruhe, and 10 km east of Rastatt, at the eastern border of the Upper Rhine Plain. Beside the main town, it consists of the incorporated villages Sulzbach, Waldprechtsweier and Völkersbach, the latter located higher in the Black Forest.
