The Embassy of Poland in Oslo is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of Norway, the ambassador, however, is also accredited to the Republic of Iceland. The chancery is located at Olav Kyrres Plass 1, Oslo. The main chancery of the Polish embassy in Oslo is located on the Olav Kyrres Plass in the Frogner district of Oslo. The building is a traditional grand Norwegian style residence with a tent roof and a large sculpted portico. The portico itself is supported by a pair of large red marble columns. The Polish embassy's political section is based in this building, however the consular section is located on Drammenveien 171, 0277 Oslo.

The Royal Danish Embassy (also Embassy of Denmark) is the Danish diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of Norway. As neighbouring countries, Denmark and Norway share a cultural and political history, and the Embassy is a key element in maintaining the good relationship between the two countries. The Embassy is a part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark which overseas all official Danish representations abroad.

Nobels gate is a light rail station on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Frogner, it was opened by Kristiania Elektriske Sporvei on 31 December 1894 as an extension of the Skøyen Line. It is served by line 13.

Skarpsno is a neighborhood in Frogner borough in Oslo, Norway. The area is located near Frognerkilen. Skarpsno was a former ferry landing site with traffic to Bygdøy, and a storage yard for timber. It is served by the tram station Skarpsno (station). The former railway station Skarpsno closed in 1973. The maritime section of the 1914 Jubilee Exhibition was located at Skarpsno.

Skarpsno station (Norwegian: Skarpsno stasjon) was a railway station situated at Skarpsno in Oslo, Norway. The station was located 1.90 kilometres (1.18 mi) from Oslo West Station (Oslo V) along what was initially the Drammen Line and now is the Skøyen–Filipstad Line. Skarpsno was a local station served by the Oslo Commuter Rail and featured an island platform on an elevated segment. The station opened on 15 May 1882, ten years after the Drammen Line was taken into use. It received a new station building and platform in 1917, designed by Eivind Gleditsch. The station was staffed until 1968. The Oslo Tunnel opened in 1980, rerouting most traffic away from Oslo V. Both stations closed on 28 May 1989 and the station was demolished in 1993. For a while it had a ferry services to Bygdøy.

The Vigeland Museum (Norwegian: Vigelandmuseet) is a museum dedicated to Gustav Vigeland in Frogner, Oslo. It is located outside Frogner Park, which includes the Vigeland installation with sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. The museum is part of Oslo municipality's cultural department. The museum is dedicated to Norway's most famous sculptor, Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943). The museum is Vigeland's former studio and residence. His urn and ashes are located in the tower of the museum. He designed his own bronze urn and burial monument, located above his apartment on the 2nd floor. The official web site for the museum is: https://vigeland.museum.no/en . The Vigeland Museum celebrated Gustav Vigeland's 150th Year Anniversary in 2019. Until 2020 the museum used the spelling Vigeland-museet in Norwegian; the spelling was changed to Vigelandmuseet after a long period where people often spelled it Vigelandsmuseet (with s).

Frognerkilen is a bay in the inner Oslofjord of Norway, east of the Bygdøy peninsula. Its name stems from the neighbourhood Frogner, a name which was taken from a farm. It was formerly known, with Bestumkilen, under the name of Ladegaardsfjordene. This stems from older times, when Bygdøy was an island, named Ladegaardsøen. Bygdøy later became a peninsula due to post-glacial rebound, separating Bestumkilen from Frognerkilen. Propositions to reconnect Bestumkilen and Frognerkilen through a canal were made in 1928 and 1937, but not carried out. It was an important shipping port for timber in the 17th and 18th centuries, but today a large part of the bay is used as a harbour for leisure boats.During the winter, Frognerkilen was used as a venue for harness racing—from 1875 to the 1920s—as well as speed skating in the pioneer days before 1900. A skating competition between Axel Paulsen and Renke van der Zee from the Netherlands on Frognerkilen in 1885, when van der Zee challenged Paulsen for his title "amateur champion of the world", attracted approximately 30,000 spectators. Kristiania Skøiteklub had Frognerkilen as its competition arena until Frogner stadion was opened in 1901. Frognerkilen was also a popular site of boat sports. The rowing club Christiania RK had its headquarters at the mainland, in a locality known as "Kongen" ('The King'), whereas the Royal Norwegian Yacht Club had its headquarters at the opposite shore of Frognerkilen, in a locality known as "Dronningen" ('The Queen'). Frognerkilen was formerly trafficked by ferry; one ferry sailed between the railway station at Skarpsno and Oscarshall at Bygdøy, and the other sailed between Skillebekk and Kongen. Also, Frognerkilen was probably the site where Fiskerlivets farer, depicting perils at sea, was filmed. Released in 1908, it is considered to be the Norwegian drama film.

Thune is a light rail station on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Skøyen, it was opened by Kristiania Elektriske Sporvei as an extension of the Skøyen Line 1901. It is served by line 13. It is currently located between Skøyen and Nobels gate. The station used to serve the now-defunct locomotive factory Thunes Mekaniske Værksted. The car outlet Møller Skøyen is also nearby.

Schafteløkken is a building in the neighborhood Elisenberg in the Frogner borough in Oslo, Norway. It is preserved, and mainly used for weddings and other official ceremonials.It is one of the largest existing wooden building in Oslo, Norway. It was built around 1807 for Andreas Schaft, who had bought the square in front of the building in 1799. He named the square Elisenberg, after his daughter Martine Elisabeth.Fredrik Glad Balchen (1815–1899) bought Schafteløkken in 1858 and operated Christiania Døvstumme-Institut, a school for the deaf, on site until 1891. Frogner parish bought the buildings in 1910. The site became the parish's retirement home until 1958. Oslo City Council decided in 1985 to preserve Schafteløkken, after efforts from an action group led by architect Ole Daniel Bruun (1933-2014).

Elisenberg is a neighborhood in the Frogner borough in Oslo, Norway. It is defined as an area between the streets Elisenbergveien, Frognerveien, Bygdøy allé and Kristinelundveien. The borough grew up around the paddock manor Schafteløkken, divided from Frogner farm and bought by Andreas Schaft in 1799. He later named the paddock Elisenberg after his daughter. The property was bought by Fredrik Glad Balchen, who ran an institute for the deaf-mute between 1857 and 1891. A corporation named Elisenbergløkkens Aktieselskab was involved when the area was built-up from the 1890s, mostly with four-storey apartment blocks. It also acquired the street Elisenbergveien in 1896, which later became publicly owned. In 1910 Schafteløkken was bought by the congregation in Frogner Church. They wanted to tear the manor down in the 1970s and 1980s, and replace it with other housing, but were stopped.Elisenberg School is a defunct school. The first school with this name was instituted in 1958, when the municipality took over an old school from 1895, whose last name was Vestheim School. In 1969 Elisenberg School was closed. The building was taken over in the same year by Oslo Husflidskole ("Oslo Handicraft School"), founded 1967. In 1976 this school changed its name to Elisenberg Upper Secondary School. It went defunct in 1990, and the building was taken over by Bjørknes School and College.The neighborhood is served by the Oslo Tramway station Elisenberg on the Frogner Line. It was also supposed to be served by the underground railway station Elisenberg Station on the Drammen Line, but this station was never finished and has never been taken into use.

Benjamin Wegner's sundial (Norwegian: Benjamin Wegners solur) is a sundial from around 1837 located in Frogner Park, Oslo, right in front of the Frogner Manor buildings, which today house Oslo City Museum. It was erected by business magnate Benjamin Wegner, the director of Blaafarveværket, after he took over Frogner Manor in 1836. Wegner had a grand oval driveway built in front of the main building with a sundial in the middle of the lawn. The sundial is constructed as an open globe, where the meridians cast a shadow on sunny days onto the inner part of the globe, hitting the inside of the equator line and thus showing the time, specifically the astronomical solar time. Odd Gunnar Skagestad wrote in 2020 that the nearly 200-year-old sundial is greatly neglected and called for efforts to preserve it. It is one of two sundials in Frogner Park, alongside Gustav Vigeland's sundial from ca. 1930.

Skarpsno is a tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located at Skarpsno, it was opened by Kristiania Elektriske Sporvei on 2 March 1894 as a part of the first stretch of what would become the Skøyen Line. It is served by line 13.
