Berrostegieta is a village in Álava, Basque Country, Spain.

Gometxa (Basque pronunciation: [gometʃa], Spanish: Gomecha [gomeˈtʃa]) is a hamlet and concejo located in the municipality of Vitoria-Gasteiz, in Álava province, Basque Country, Spain.

Zaldiaran (Spanish pronunciation: [θalˈdjaɾan], Basque pronunciation: [s̻aldi.aɾan]) is a mountain in the Montes de Vitoria range, in the province of Álava, Basque Country, Spain. Even if part of the south face of the mountain is on the Treviño exclave, Burgos; the summit itself lies in Álava. At the top of the mountain, apart from a tall metallic cross that was placed in 1950 by the Manuel Iradier hiking club, there are a few big aerials that transmit television and radio signal to Vitoria-Gasteiz.Close to the summit lies the Zaldiaran pass, with a height of 780 metres (2,560 ft), it links Álava with the Treviño exclave. The roads that communicate the two provinces are the A-3102 in Álava and the BU-742 in Treviño. The northern slopes are covered by beeches (Fagus sylvatica) that give way to Portuguese oak (Quercus faginea) woods on the lower parts.Due to the proximity of the summit to Vitoria-Gasteiz and its easy access, it is popular among hikers. On New Year's Day, the hiking clubs of the city organize hikes to the mountain to celebrate the new year.

Olabide ikastola is a Basque school located in the Basque Country, in the province of Álava. The official educational language is Basque. Every class, starting from kindergarten, are taught in this language. The students are separated into four classes from the beginning, primarily based on the child’s mother tongue. In this way, they create a group of classmates which have Basque as their first language. This division is done because when they first go to school, some children don’t even know how to speak Spanish, while others do. This would create many difficulties when socializing so they intend to prevent it through these measures. This school is a parental cooperative.

The Basilica of San Prudencio de Armentia (Spanish: Basílica de San Prudencio de Armentia, Basque: Armentiako San Prudentzioren basilika) is a basilica located in Armentia, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain. It was built in the 12th-century in Romanesque style. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1931.

Armentia is one of the villages associated with Vitoria-Gasteiz. Its name comes from the Latin word armentum, which translated into English means "intensive farming". The village is well known for its 161 hectare park created in 1998. The northern boundary of the village is formed by the Ariznavarra neighborhood.

Aríñez lies 8.5 km West of Vitoria-Gasteiz, next to the A-102 highway, a branch of the A-1 (Madrid-Irún) expressway. Its most representative building is the San Julián y Santa Basilisa Parochial Church, which combines the renaissance and baroque styles. These saints' celebrations take place on 9 January, and Saint Thomas's celebrations take place on 21 December.
