Wychwood School is a co-educational private day and boarding school for pupils aged 11–18, located in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. The school is a member of the Girls' Schools Association and is owned by Albion Schools and Wychwood School Charity Ltd (No. 309684). The school is located on the southern corner of Bardwell Road and Banbury Road in North Oxford.

Canterbury Road is a road in North Oxford, England. It runs between Woodstock Road to the west and Banbury Road to the east. Winchester Road leads south from halfway along Canterbury Road, linking with Bevington Road that runs parallel to the south. Also to the south are North Parade and Church Walk. To the north is St Hugh's College, one of the former women's colleges of the University of Oxford (now mixed), fronting onto St Margaret's Road to the north and also stretching between Woodstock Road and Banbury Road. There are some modern ornamental iron gates opposite the junction with Winchester Road, giving access to the college grounds. The Eastern Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity and the Annunciation, built in 1973, is at 1 Canterbury Road.The area was formerly part of the estate of St John's College, Oxford, and the road is named after the city of Canterbury in honour of the former Archbishops of Canterbury who were also Presidents of the College (William Laud and William Juxon). The road contains large expensive brick-built Gothic-style detached residences. They were designed by Frederick Codd in the 1870s and leased between 1873 and 1884. These houses have been described as "Codd at his best" by Pevsner.

North Parade, or more formally North Parade Avenue, is a short shopping street in north Oxford, England. It runs between Winchester Road opposite Church Walk to the west and Banbury Road (with Norham Road slightly north opposite) to the east. It is the only shopping street in North Oxford between the city centre to the south and Summertown to the north.

66 Banbury Road is a detached Victorian villa in North Oxford built in 1869 by Frederick Codd. The villa is one of the largest structures in the suburb and is particularly distinctive due to its prominent site on the corner of Banbury and Norham Roads and its tall 6-story Italianate tower, which is a local landmark.Originally named 'St Catherine's', the house, which sits in a one-acre plot, was first leased to Mrs Catherine Fry, in 1874. Mrs Fry occupied the house from its construction to 1894. Early 20th century residents included Dr and Mrs A.A. Prankerd of Manchester College.In 1930 Wolsey Hall, Oxford acquired No.66 and operated their home tutoring business from the site. This marked the end of the building's residential use and its permanent transition to institutional purposes. As at 2019, No.66 is home to the Oxford English Centre and the University of Oxford Institute of Population Ageing.In 2008, No.66 was designated a Grade II listed building.

The Voltaire Foundation is a research department of the University of Oxford, founded by Theodore Besterman in the 1970s. Kellogg College is a graduate-only constituent college of the University of Oxford in England. Founded in 1990 as Rewley House, Kellogg is the university's 36th college and the largest by number of students both full and part-time. Named for the Kellogg Foundation, as benefactor, the college hosts research centres including the Institute of Population Ageing and the Centre for Creative Writing. It is closely identified with lifelong learning at Oxford. Kellogg is lodged in a group of formal Victorian era buildings in residential Norham Manor. As with most of the university's graduate colleges, the college has an egalitarian spirit which is reflected by a lack of formal separation between fellows and students. The college has no high table and, uniquely among Oxford's colleges, its grace is in Welsh (in commemoration of its official founding on St. David's Day). It is also unique in having its own tartan.The president of the college is Jonathan Michie who is Professor of Innovation & Knowledge Exchange. Michie succeeded the founder of the college, Geoffrey Thomas, as president.

St Hugh's College is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. It is located on a 14.5-acre (5.9-hectare) site on St Margaret's Road, to the north of the city centre. It was founded in 1886 by Elizabeth Wordsworth as a women's college, and accepted its first male students in its centenary year in 1986. It enjoys a reputation as one of the most attractive colleges because of its extensive gardens.In its 125th anniversary year, the college became a registered charity under the name "The Principal and Fellows of St Hugh's College in the University of Oxford". As of July 2018, the college's financial endowment was £37.6 million.

Bradmore Road is a residential road in North Oxford, England.At the northern end of the road is a junction with Norham Road and at the southern end is a junction with Norham Gardens, with the University Parks opposite. Halfway along the road, Crick Road leads east to Fyfield Road. To the west is Banbury Road.

Wycliffe Hall is a Church of England theological college and a permanent private hall of the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. It is named after the Bible translator and reformer John Wycliffe, who was master of Balliol College, Oxford in the 14th century. Founded in 1877, Wycliffe Hall provides theological training to women and men for ordained and lay ministries in the Church of England as well as other Anglican and non-Anglican churches. There are also a number of independent and undergraduate students studying theology, education and philosophy. The hall is rooted in and has a history of Evangelical Anglicanism and includes strong influences of Charismatic, Conservative and Open Evangelical traditions. The hall is the third-oldest Anglican theological college and, as of April 2020, claimed to have trained more serving Church of England bishops than any other such institution (21 of c. 116).
