Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex at Wild Horse Pass is a soccer complex including the Wild Horse Pass Stadium, a soccer-specific stadium near Chandler, Arizona. It is the former home of Phoenix Rising FC of the USL Championship. The stadium was completed before the start of the 2021 USL Championship season. The stadium was built on land in the Gila River Indian Community, near Interstate 10 and Loop 202. The complex has 10,000 seats with a video board, press box, improved sound, a family-friendly general admission section, ticket office, locker rooms, two practice fields, and a on-site administrative office.

The 2024 IFBB Professional League Blood, Sweat & Bodywork Rising Phoenix World Championships was an International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness Professional League (IFBB Pro League) professional female bodybuilding contest that was held in conjunction with the IFBB Pro League Arizona Women's Pro and the National Physique Committee (NPC) Arizona Women’s Extravaganza. It was the tenth Rising Phoenix World Championships to be held.

The IFBB Wings of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championships is a professional female bodybuilding competition, sponsored by Wings of Strength company founded by Jake and Kristal Wood., promoted by Tim Gardner Productions, and sanctioned by the International Federation of BodyBuilders (I.F.B.B.). It was the most prestigious IFBB professional female bodybuilding event around from 2015 to 2019, while the Ms. Olympia contest was on hiatus. The first championship show took place in conjunction with the IFBB Texas Pro, the NPC Tim Gardner Texas Extravaganza, and the NPC National on August 22, 2015 at the Grand Hyatt, San Antonio, Texas.

Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park is a 450-acre (180 ha) motorsport racing complex, located in Chandler, Arizona, United States, about 18 mi (29 km) southeast of downtown Phoenix.

Horizon Honors Schools (also known as Horizon Honors or Horizon Community Learning Center) is an organization of tuition-free charter schools in the Ahwatukee Foothills area of Phoenix, Arizona. Horizon Honors consists of two schools: Horizon Honors Elementary School (Grades K-6) and Horizon Honors Secondary School (Grades 7–12). Over 1,500 students from cities throughout the East Valley attend the schools. Horizon Honors Elementary School has an enrollment of 728 students. The school principal is Laura Wanstreet. Desert Vista High School is a public high school located in the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix, Arizona. Opened in 1996, it is the second Tempe Union High School District (TUHSD) school in Ahwatukee and serves approximately 3,000 students.

Ocotillo (also known as Ocatillo) was a temporary camp in Ahwatukee, Phoenix designed by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright and constructed in late-January/early-February 1929 by his draftsmen. The camp buildings, made out of wood and canvas, were intended by the architect to provide living and working spaces for himself and his draftsmen while they worked on a project (San Marcos In The Desert) for promoter, hotelier and entrepreneur, Dr. Alexander John Chandler. Chandler allowed Wright to use part of his land on which to construct the camp. Wright and the draftsmen stayed at the camp until late spring, and returned to Wright's home, Taliesin, on May 31. Wright, presuming work would continue into the next year, intended to return to the camp. However, a fire in the camp that summer (followed by the stock market crash in October) prevented the cabins ever being used again. The site has not held buildings since the summer of 1929. The camp was first acknowledged as a precursor to Wright's Taliesin West by architectural historian Henry-Russell Hitchcock in his book, In the Nature of Materials, 1887–1941: The Buildings of Frank Lloyd Wright, Duell, Sloan and Pearce, New York 1942. The Heart Attack Grill is an American hamburger restaurant in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, (formerly located in Chandler, Arizona). It makes a point of serving food that is very unhealthy and high in fat, sugar, and cholesterol; in other words, food that, if eaten frequently, will increase the chance of a heart attack, hence the name. The menu is generally themed around items that are exceptionally high in calories and fat. It includes "Single", "Double", "Triple", "Quadruple", all the way up to "Octuple Bypass" hamburgers, ranging from 8 to 64 ounces (230 to 1,810 g) of beef with the "Octuple Bypass" burger containing approximately 16,000 kilocalories, all-you-can-eat "Flatliner Fries," cooked in pure lard, beer and tequila, "butterfat milkshakes," and soft drinks such as Mexican-bottled Coca-Cola made with cane sugar. Customers can also order unfiltered cigarettes, or candy cigarettes for children.Customers over 350 lb (160 kg) in weight eat for free, if they weigh themselves on a scale before eating. Beverages and to-go orders are excluded and sharing food is also not allowed for the free food deal. One of the restaurant's promotions is a reward for customers who finish a Triple or Quadruple Bypass Burger, after which they are placed in a wheelchair and wheeled out to their vehicle by their "personal nurse".
