The Heart Attack Grill is an American hamburger restaurant in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, (formerly located in Chandler, Arizona). It makes a point of serving food that is very unhealthy and high in fat, sugar, and cholesterol; in other words, food that, if eaten frequently, will increase the chance of a heart attack, hence the name. The menu is generally themed around items that are exceptionally high in calories and fat. It includes "Single", "Double", "Triple", "Quadruple", all the way up to "Octuple Bypass" hamburgers, ranging from 8 to 64 ounces (230 to 1,810 g) of beef with the "Octuple Bypass" burger containing approximately 16,000 kilocalories, all-you-can-eat "Flatliner Fries," cooked in pure lard, beer and tequila, "butterfat milkshakes," and soft drinks such as Mexican-bottled Coca-Cola made with cane sugar. Customers can also order unfiltered cigarettes, or candy cigarettes for children.Customers over 350 lb (160 kg) in weight eat for free, if they weigh themselves on a scale before eating. Beverages and to-go orders are excluded and sharing food is also not allowed for the free food deal. One of the restaurant's promotions is a reward for customers who finish a Triple or Quadruple Bypass Burger, after which they are placed in a wheelchair and wheeled out to their vehicle by their "personal nurse".

Horizon Honors Schools (also known as Horizon Honors or Horizon Community Learning Center) is an organization of tuition-free charter schools in the Ahwatukee Foothills area of Phoenix, Arizona. Horizon Honors consists of two schools: Horizon Honors Elementary School (Grades K-6) and Horizon Honors Secondary School (Grades 7–12). Over 1,500 students from cities throughout the East Valley attend the schools. Horizon Honors Elementary School has an enrollment of 728 students. The school principal is Laura Wanstreet. Horizon Honors Secondary School has an enrollment of 280 students in Horizon Honors Middle School (grades 7–8) and 425 in Horizon Honors High School (grades 9–12). The school principal is Paul Schneider. The school is ranked an “A” School by the Arizona Department of Education (2018,) has a 99% graduation rate, and 97% of graduates pursue college degrees. The school is ranked a "Best High School" by U.S. News & World Report, and accredited by the North Central Association AdvancEd.

The IFBB Wings of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championships is a professional female bodybuilding competition, sponsored by Wings of Strength company founded by Jake and Kristal Wood., promoted by Tim Gardner Productions, and sanctioned by the International Federation of BodyBuilders (I.F.B.B.). It was the most prestigious IFBB professional female bodybuilding event around from 2015 to 2019, while the Ms. Olympia contest was on hiatus. The first championship show took place in conjunction with the IFBB Texas Pro, the NPC Tim Gardner Texas Extravaganza, and the NPC National on August 22, 2015 at the Grand Hyatt, San Antonio, Texas.

Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex at Wild Horse Pass is a soccer complex including the Wild Horse Pass Stadium, a soccer-specific stadium near Chandler, Arizona. It is the former home of Phoenix Rising FC of the USL Championship. The stadium was completed before the start of the 2021 USL Championship season. The stadium was built on land in the Gila River Indian Community, near Interstate 10 and Loop 202. The complex has 10,000 seats with a video board, press box, improved sound, a family-friendly general admission section, ticket office, locker rooms, two practice fields, and a on-site administrative office.

The House of the Future also known as the Ahwatukee House of the Future is an example of a home of the future located in Ahwatukee, an urban village in Phoenix, Arizona. The idea was originated by Randall Presley, the developer of Ahwatukee to promote his then-new development and bring more residences to the then-less populated Ahwatukee neighborhood. The House was designed by Charles R. Schiffner Taliesin Associated Architects of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in Scottsdale, who got inspiration from his drawings of one of his box projects originally intended for Mr. and Mrs. Wright. It was opened for tours in 1980; tours cost $3. Between 1980 and 1984 the House attracted approximately 250,000 people, who were also given tours of various model homes in the development. After four years the House was sold, and is now in private ownership, having changed hands several times.The House was "the first microprocessor controlled house". Designed in coordination with Motorola it had multiple Motorola MC6800 microprocessors that "opened and closed windows, adjusted blinds, and stored tax records, shopping lists, and video games." The system consisted of ten microprocessors, and cost $30,000 in 1980 dollars.The three-bedroom house had an unconventional design. "Most of it is below ground. It includes a two-storey 'atrium', or sky-lobby, from which all the rooms lead off. This contains plants and provides a central conversation area." "Dozens of companies helped build the property at an estimated cost of more than $2 million, a portion of it in donated materials."When it opened the house became a media sensation. “It was covered in periodicals, the media of the time, in 33 different countries. It became a world-famous house, in essence.”

Stellar Airpark (FAA LID: P19) is a privately-owned public-use residential airpark located 3 miles (2.6 nmi; 4.8 km) west of the central business district of Chandler, a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It is privately owned by the Stellar Runway Utilizers Association, Inc (SRUA). All homeowners, including aircraft owners who base at FBO tiedowns or FBO hangars, are required to pay annual dues to the SRUA to maintain runway facilities.

Guadalupe Regional High School, also known as Guadalupe Satellite at Compadre High School during its final year, was a small high school in Guadalupe, Arizona. It was run by the Tempe Union High School District after it was turned over by the Maricopa County Regional School District in 2006 for financial reasons. The school, after this move, lost 35 students to bring it down to an enrollment of just 25: Many students had missed too many classes and had to be dropped due to state regulations. 12 other students transferred to Compadre at the beginning of the school year. Due to a lack of offerings or needed specialized attention, some students were transferred, particularly to Marcos de Niza High School, the closest public high school.Because of this, the Tempe Union High School District began to consider closure of the school. A million dollar budget shortfall in the district forced the closure of the school, which had shrunk even further to 16 students. Of those 16, four graduated after summer school, two moved to Marcos, and ten moved to Compadre itself.It was located at a Boys and Girls Club facility in Guadalupe.
