Madresfield Court is a country house in Malvern, Worcestershire, England. The home of the Lygon family for nearly six centuries, it has never been sold and has passed only by inheritance since the 12th century; a line of unbroken family ownership reputedly exceeded in length in England only by homes owned by the British Royal Family. The present building is largely a Victorian reconstruction, although the origins of the present house are from the 16th century, and the site has been occupied since Anglo-Saxon times. The novelist Evelyn Waugh was a frequent visitor to the house and based the family of Marchmain, who are central to his novel Brideshead Revisited, on the Lygons. Surrounded by a moat, the Court is a Grade I listed building.

Hanley Swan won the 2009 Calor Herefordshire and Worcestershire Village of the Year competition, a heat of the national Village of the year competition. Hanley Swan was an inspiration for the setting of the novel Black Swan Green by David Mitchell.

Clevelode is a small village in Worcestershire, England. It is located around 5 miles south of Worcester just to the west of the River Severn. Clevelode is next to the B4244 between Callow End and Hanley Castle in the civil parish of Powick. A caravan park and bed and breakfast are located just south of Clevelode.

Poolbrook is a village and a suburb of Malvern, Worcestershire, England, situated approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) southeast of Great Malvern, the town's centre, and about 0.5 miles (08 km) from the Malvern suburb of Barnards Green on the Poolbrook Road (B4208). The village comprises several shops, a traditional English pub, and a number of council and private housing estates. St Andrew's C of E parish church was built in Early English style in 1882 as a memorial to a member of the Chance Brothers glass manufacturing family. The village occupies the geographical centre of the Chase ward of Malvern Town Council.

The Rhydd (formerly Rhydd Court) is an English country house alongside the River Severn, near the village of Hanley Castle, Worcestershire, about halfway between Malvern and the small town of Upton-upon-Severn. The house is now a care home.

The Old Hills are an area of common land in Worcestershire, England. They are located around two miles to the east of Great Malvern and about a mile west of the River Severn near the village of Callow End. They reach a height of 65 metres (considerably lower than the nearby Malvern Hills) but are popular with walkers for their views towards Malvern.

The Chase School is a secondary school (ages 11–18) in Malvern, Worcestershire, England. The school opened as a Secondary Modern in 1953 under headteacher Mr Garth. It was officially opened by Lord Cobham on 26 March 1955. The Chase became a comprehensive with the abolition of selective education in Worcestershire in 1974 and became an academy on 1 November 2011. Teaching students from Year 7 to Year 13, The Chase has around 1,300 students, making it one of the larger schools in Worcestershire, with just under 300 students in the sixth form.The school is located in Barnards Green, a suburb of Malvern, adjacent to the sites of QinetiQ and the Malvern Hills Science Park. Links between the school and these organisations have led to the establishment of the Cyber-security Apprentice Development Scheme, an apprenticeship initiative aimed to encourage more students into the cyber security sector.

Brotheridge Green Nature Reserve is a nature reserve of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust at Brotheridge Green, about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) west of Upton-upon-Severn, in Worcestershire, England. It is on a section of a former railway line.
