Riner Historic District is a national historic district located at Riner, Montgomery County, Virginia. The district encompasses 23 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in the village of Riner. It includes a variety of vernacular residential, commercial, and institutional buildings dating from the 1850s to 1920s. Notable buildings include the Methodist Episcopal Church (1908), Bank of Riner (1912–1913), Jonathan E. Hall House / Store, Kinsey-Lawrence House (1908–1909), Dr. Stone Farm, Surface Mill (c. 1910), Auburn United Methodist Church (1885), and Sam Barnett Store.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Howard–Bell–Feather House, also known as Bell–Feather House and old Feather's place, is a historic home located near Riner, Montgomery County, Virginia, United States. It was built about 1810, and is a one- to two-story, three-bay, banked stone dwelling with a three-room plan. Also on the property is a contributing small frame house dated to the early-20th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Rogers is an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Virginia, south of the county seat of Christiansburg. It is part of the Blacksburg–Christiansburg Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Montgomery County and the city of Radford. Rogers is located at the intersection of Pilot Road (VA 615) and Elliot's Creek Road (VA 675). It also includes the intersection of Nolley Road and Pilot Road. Elliot's Creek Road, (VA 675) is the historic road that connected Shawsville to Riner in the lower half of Montgomery County. The historic Shawsville to Riner Road is now represented by modern-day Allegheny Springs Road, Split Rail Road, Elliot's Creek Road, Nolley Road, and Union Valley Road.

Edgemont Church is a historic Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) church building located near Christiansburg, Montgomery County, Virginia. It was built about 1860, and is a one-story, three bay by three bay, frame structure. It has a pedimented principal facade with a large circular louvered vent, paneled corner pilasters with molded capitals and segmentally arched openings. Also on the property is a contributing church cemetery.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Bowyer–Trollinger Farm is a historic home and farm located at Childress, Montgomery County, Virginia. The farmhouse was built in four sections beginning in about 1825 and ending in about 1910. It started as a three-bay, two-story, apparently rectangular, single-pen log dwelling. Also on the property are the contributing farm office, mid-19th-century washhouse, spring house, barn, and corn crib, and an early 20th-century apple house/carbide gas lighting outbuilding.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

James Charlton Farm is a historic home located near Radford, Montgomery County, Virginia. The house dates to the early-19th century, and is a two-story, square, log dwelling with a four-room plan. It is sheathed in weatherboard, and features a pair of coursed rubble double-shouldered chimneys linked by a stone wall approximately five feet high. Also on the property are the contributing coursed rubble stone chimney, a board-and-batten meathouse, a frame drive-through corn crib, a frame barn, and two frame garages.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Christiansburg Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at 107 W. Main Street in Christiansburg, Montgomery County, Virginia. The church was organized in 1827. The building was erected in 1853 and is a four bay long, brick church building with a low hipped roof. It features a three-stage tower consisting of a low, plain base, a square belfry with coupled Doric order corner pilasters, and a blind lantern stage. The whole is capped by an octagonal spire. Also on the property is the contributing former Rectory, now known as the Kinnard Smith Building and used as a parish house.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It is located in the Christiansburg Downtown Historic District.

The district encompasses 26 contributing buildings in the town of Christiansburg. It includes principally single family brick and frame dwellings dated to the late-19th and early-20th centuries. They are reflective of a variety of popular architectural styles, in including Colonial Revival, Bungalow / American Craftsman, and Greek Revival. A notable dwelling is the 1919 Rice House, known as "The Huts." It consists of one large (20 feet in diameter) circular conically-roofed section and three smaller (15 feet in diameter) circular units clustered to the north, east, and southeast.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

It features a two-story porch of six bays with turned posts, a spindle frieze, brackets, and turned balusters.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It is located in the Christiansburg Downtown Historic District.
