James B. Stephens House

The Gustave Bartman House in southeast Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon is a two-and-a-half-story dwelling listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A Queen Anne structure built in 1892, it was added to the register in 1989. Bartman, a contractor, may have built the house.The interior of the house consists of two essentially identical apartments, one on each floor. Designed during the Victorian era, the structure is a well-preserved example of a southeast Portland duplex. It was built just one year after the city of East Portland became part of the growing city of Portland. Notable features include a full-height window bay, imbricated shingles, and a double veranda.

L'Orange is a restaurant in Portland, Oregon. Chef Joel Stocks and winemaker Jeff Vejr opened the restaurant in southeast Portland's Hosford-Abernethy neighborhood in June 2023. L'Orange has garnered a positive reception and ranked fourth in The Oregonian's list of Portland's best new restaurants of 2023.

Free Geek is a technology related non-profit organization based in Portland, Oregon, launched on April 22, 2000. It started as a public event at Pioneer Courthouse Square. In September 2000, it opened a permanent facility as a drop off site for electronic waste. In January 2001, local newspaper The Oregonian ran an article advertising their free computer program for volunteers, which became so successful that they had to start a waiting list. They currently have over 2,000 active volunteers per year.

Portobello closed on December 31, 2016, after hosting a New Year's Eve party.
