Free Geek is a technology related non-profit organization based in Portland, Oregon, launched on April 22, 2000. It started as a public event at Pioneer Courthouse Square. The restaurant was co-founded by Dinae Horne and Aaron Adams in December 2008. Adams sold his part of the company in 2014. Portobello closed on December 31, 2016, after hosting a New Year's Eve party.

Ladd's Addition is an inner southeast historic district of Portland, Oregon, United States. It is Portland's oldest planned residential development, and one of the oldest in the western United States. The district is known in Portland for a diagonal street pattern, which is at odds with the rectilinear grid of the surrounding area. Roughly eight blocks (east-west) by ten blocks (north-south) in size (by reference to the surrounding grid), Ladd's is bordered by SE Hawthorne, Division, 12th, and 20th streets. It is part of the Hosford-Abernethy neighborhood association.

The Eugenia Apartments in southeast Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon is a two-story apartment building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A Colonial Revival structure built in 1911, it was added to the register in 1989.The nomination form for the building describes it as a well-preserved example of the many medium-scale multi-family dwellings built in inner southeast Portland between 1910 and 1930. The Eugenia Apartments has four apartments on each of its main floors as well as three living units in the basement. Pedimented and arched dormers, a formal facade and prominent portico, and decorative details such as fanlights are among the building's notable features.
