Putra Heights is a residential township in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located within the mukim of Petaling District. The township is visible by the tall Bukit Cermin in Putra Heights.

Subang Jaya is a city in Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It comprises the southern third district of Petaling. It consists of the neighbourhoods from SS12 to SS19, UEP Subang Jaya (USJ), Putra Heights, Batu Tiga as well as PJS7, PJS9 and PJS11 of Bandar Sunway, the latter of which are partially jurisdictional within Petaling Jaya under the MBPJ. The city is governed by Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ), which also governs other areas of the Petaling district, such as Puchong and Seri Kembangan. According to Subang Jaya City Council, Subang Jaya has a population of 642,100 in 2015, which makes it the sixth largest city in Malaysia by population.

UEP Subang Jaya (commonly called "USJ") is a major affluent township located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located within the Mukim (sub-district) of Damansara in the district of Petaling.

South Quay-USJ 1 BRT station is a bus rapid transit (BRT) station on the BRT Sunway Line. The station is located behind Mydin USJ 1 and serves the nearby Casa Subang apartments and the shopping malls around it. Like other BRT stations on this line, the station is elevated.

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Subang Jaya (SMKSJ, formerly Sekolah Menengah Subang Jaya) is a secondary school in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It was the first school to be established in the Subang Jaya region in 1981. Due to the lack of classrooms, SMK Subang Utama was built to accommodate the students residing in Subang Jaya.

Monash University Malaysia, the Malaysian campus of Monash University opened in 1998 and is located in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is the first foreign university in Malaysia. Monash University Malaysia is one of several Monash University campuses and centres outside the State of Victoria in Australia. Monash University also has a centre in Prato, Italy, a campus in South Africa and a research academy in India. Established in 1998, Monash Malaysia is the third largest campus worldwide of Australia's largest university and the first foreign university campus in Malaysia that operates in partnership with the Sunway Education Group. A self-accrediting university, Monash University Malaysia is currently home to approximately 8,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. The current head of the campus is President & Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Andrew Walker. As one of the eight Monash University campuses, the Malaysian campus is subject to Monash University for all matters related to academic development, teaching and support.

The SunU-Monash BRT station is located in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Selangor and is served by the BRT Sunway Line.The station is located besides the Monash University Malaysia Campus and nearby Sunway University; both universities which this station is named after and serves. The station is also adjacent to SunMed BRT station which is on the same road. The station is also located beside the BRT depot, and has a multi-storey parking lot. Like other BRT stations on the line, this BRT station is elevated.

USJ 7 station is an integrated transit station located at USJ 7, Subang Jaya, Selangor. USJ 7 is served by the LRT Kelana Jaya Line and the BRT Sunway Line. This station is named after the USJ 7 neighbourhood, which is located east of the station. This station was opened when the BRT Sunway Line started serving this station on 2 June 2015. Later, the LRT Kelana Jaya Line portion of the station opened on 30 June 2016. The station acts as an interchange station for the BRT and LRT lines.

Bandar Sunway, also known as Sunway City, is an 800-acre integrated township in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. This township is named after its developer, Sunway Group, which had also got its name from Sungai Way, a suburb in Selangor.

Sunway University is a private university in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It has a 10 hectare (24 acre) campus comprising academic and residential blocks adjacent to the Sunway Lagoon theme park. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes taught in English. The President of Sunway University, Professor Sibrandes Poppema was appointed in 2021, further strengthening the University’s capacity and strategic leadership in a global setting. Professor Poppema joined Sunway University in 2019 after retiring as the President of University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Professor Poppema, a Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah Distinguished Professor is also an advisor to the establishment of the new medical school at Sunway University. [1] Its Vice-Chancellor is Professor Graeme Wilkinson, who was appointed from the UK in 2012. He is supported by a Deputy Vice-Chancellor and a Provost. In 2018 the University established its own academic publishing arm, Sunway University Press.

Sunway College is a private college based in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It was established on 25 July 1987 by Jeffrey Cheah. It has a 10-hectare (24 acre) campus comprising academic and residential blocks adjacent to the Sunway Lagoon theme park.In addition to the Bandar Sunway campus, there are also colleges in Johor Bahru, Ipoh, Kuching and in Kuala Lumpur @ Velocity. The college offers a number of international sixth form, university foundation, diploma and professional courses. In some campuses, Victoria University, Australia undergraduate courses are offered as external and/or twinning courses.

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Subang Utama (commonly referred to as SMKSU) is a secondary school situated in Subang Jaya, Selangor. It was formerly known as Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Subang Jaya 2. The school began classes on 4 December 1989. It is the second oldest national secondary school in Subang Jaya after SMK Subang Jaya.
