Milano Due (Milan 2, also known as Milano 2) is a residential centre in the Italian town of Segrate (Province of Milan). It was built as a new town by Edilnord, a company associated with the Fininvest group of Silvio Berlusconi. The main peculiarity of Milano Due is its walkability: A system of walkways and bridges connects the whole neighborhood, so that it is possible to walk around without ever intersecting traffic. It was marketed as a residential neighborhood for families of the upper middle class with children. The works started in 1970, and were completed in 1979. Distinctive landmarks are the sporting facilities, a small artificial lake (il laghetto) and a children's playground.

Vimodrone (Lombard: Vimodron [ʋimuˈdrũː]; historically Modrone or Vico Modrone) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region of Lombardy. It is located about 14 kilometres (9 mi) northeast of Milan. Vimodrone borders the following municipalities: Cologno Monzese, Cernusco sul Naviglio, Milan, Pioltello and Segrate. The area has historical associations with the Visconti di Modrone family.

Quartiere Feltre is a residential district ("quartiere") of Milan, Italy. It is located in the Zone 3 administrative division, extending east of the city centre, adjacent to the districts of Lambrate and Cimiano, the Lambro river and the Tangenziale Est ring road. It is named after Via Feltre, a large suburban street that connects Milan to the Parco Lambro city park. The district mainly comprises large apartment blocks, built in the late 1950s with state subsidies. The leading architects involved in the realization of this residential area were Luciano Baldessari, Giancarlo De Carlo, Ignazio Gardella and Angelo Mangiarotti, supervised by Gino Pollini. Two main types of apartment blocks were realized, respectively 4-floor and 9-floor high. The 4-floor buildings are located in the centre of the district, where most shops and public services are found, while the taller builinds are located in the district's periphery.

The San Raffaele Hospital (also Istituto scientifico universitario San Raffaele or ospedale San Raffaele, HSR or OSR) is a university hospital situated in Segrate, the Province of Milan, Italy. It was founded in 1969 by don Luigi Maria Verzé, president of "San Raffaele del Monte Tabor Foundation". The facility is connected to the Milan Metro by the MeLA people mover. The hospital is affiliated with the School of Medicine and the School of Nursing of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.

Cimiano (Lombard: Cimian [tʃiˈmjãː]) is a district (quartiere) of Milan, Italy. It is located within the Zone 3 administrative division, north-east of the city centre. The Milan Metro (Line 2) stops at Cimiano. The name "Cimiano" is a contraction of cimiliano, meaning "next to Milan". The oldest known reference to the settlement is in a 10th Century Lombards manuscript. It was an autonomous comune until 1757, when it was annexed to Crescenzago, which in turn became part of Milan in 1923. The Rizzoli publishing house, one of the major publishing houses in Italy, is based in Cimiano.

Cascina Gobba is a station on Line 2 of the Milan Metro. The station is located on Via Padova at the west side of the A51 Milan bypass road. This is beside the major highway interchange known as Cascina Gobba, which is the main vehicular transportation hub of northeast Milan, Italy. The line branches here to terminate at either Cologno Nord or Gessate. The station takes its name from Cascina Gobba, a nearby rural village. MeLA, a fully automated people mover opened in 1999, connects the station to the San Raffaele Hospital.

Lambrate (Lombard: Lambraa [lãˈbrɑː]) is a district (quartiere) of Milan, Italy, located within the Zone 3 administrative division, six km (3.7 mi) north-east of the city centre. It owes its name to the Lambro river that traverses the area. Lambrate houses one of the major railway stations of north-eastern Milan, the Stazione di Milano Lambrate. The district is also well known for Parco Lambro, a large urban park established in 1934. The famous Lambretta motor scooter was manufactured in Lambrate, and named after this district, as is Birrificio Lambrate, a craft brewery established in 1996.

The Zone 3 of Milan, since 2016 officially Municipality 3 of Milan, (in Italian: Zona 3 di Milano, Municipio 3 di Milano) is one of the 9 administrative administrative divisions of Milan, Italy.It was officially created as an administrative subdivision during the 1980s. On 14 April 2016, in order to promote a reform on the municipal administrative decentralization, the City Council of Milan established the new Municipality 3, a new administrative body responsible for running most local services, such as schools, social services, waste collection, roads, parks, libraries and local commerce.The zone lays on the north-eastern part of the city. A significant part of its area is occupied by universities campuses of Studies' City (in Italian: Città Studi).
