The Kazakh ambassador in Washington, D. C. is the official representative of the Government in Astana to the Government of the United States and is concurrently accredited in Brasilia.

The Robert Simpson Woodward House is a former residence located at 1513 16th Street, NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. From 1904 until 1914, it was a home of geologist Robert Simpson Woodward (1849–1924), the first president of the Carnegie Institution and a highly regarded scientist and science administrator. The building currently serves as the Capital Research Center headquarters. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976 and designated a contributing property to the Sixteenth Street Historic District in 1978.

The Serbian Embassy, Washington, D.C. (alternatively, Embassy of Serbia, Washington, D.C.) is the primary diplomatic mission of Serbia to the United States. The embassy is located at 1333 16th Street NW, in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The current ambassador of Serbia to the United States is Marko Đurić, since 8 October 2020.

Kimpton Rouge Hotel is a 137-room boutique hotel located at 16th Street Northwest and Rhode Island Avenue in Washington, D.C. Located at Scott Circle across from the Australian embassy, Hotel Rouge is one of 11 Kimpton hotel properties in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Originally a 1967 apartment building and then a Quality hotel, Kimpton Rouge Hotel opened on December 14, 2001 and is owned by LaSalle Hotel Properties of Bethesda, Maryland. The building was purchased in 2001 and underwent a $14 million renovation along with the nearby Topaz Hotel.

Kimpton Banneker Hotel is a 144-room boutique hotel located at 16th Street Northwest and Rhode Island Avenue in Washington, D.C. It is located at Scott Circle across from the Australian embassy. Originally a 1967 apartment building and then a Quality hotel, it opened as the Kimpton Rouge Hotel on December 14, 2001, and was owned by LaSalle Hotel Properties of Bethesda, Maryland. The building was purchased in 2001 and underwent a $14 million renovation along with the nearby Topaz Hotel. After selling to new owners in 2019, it underwent further renovations and reopened in June 2021 as the Kimpton Banneker Hotel.

The First Baptist Church of the City of Washington, D.C. is a Baptist church at 1328 16th Street NW, nine blocks north of the White House. It is affiliated with the District of Columbia Baptist Convention. The church is also considered the parent organization to the First Colored Baptist Church of Washington, D.C. which was later renamed Nineteenth Street Baptist Church. It was originally organized in 1801. The church has occupied five buildings on four sites, including one building on the site of what is now Ford's Theater. The congregation moved to its current location in 1890, with the first services held in the present sanctuary building on Christmas Day 1955. Famous attendees through history include former presidents Harry S. Truman and Jimmy Carter.

The Administration Building, Carnegie Institute of Washington is a Beaux-Arts style building designed by architects Carrere and Hastings, and located at 1530 P Street NW in Washington, D.C. It houses the Carnegie Institution for Science, a philanthropic scientific research organization founded in 1902 by Andrew Carnegie. In recognition of the building's architecture and its unique tenant, the building was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1965. The building was also designated a contributing property to the Sixteenth Street Historic District in 1978.

The Embassy of El Salvador in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of El Salvador to the United States. It is located at 1400 16th Street Northwest, Suite 100, Washington, D.C. in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.The embassy also operates consulates-general in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Santa Ana, and New York City.The ambassador is Milena Mayorga, who was appointed by president Nayib Bukele on September 24, 2020.

CTIA is a trade association representing the wireless communications industry in the United States. The association was established in 1984 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. It is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit membership organization, and represents wireless carriers and suppliers, and manufacturers and providers of wireless products and services.CTIA operates certification programs for the wireless industry and publishes wireless industry surveys. It has also sponsored various public service initiatives related to wireless. It was originally known as the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association until 2004, and later the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association. The organization has since operated under its initialism only, but subtitled as CTIA – The Wireless Association until 2015.

The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1990, based in the District of Columbia. It is a network of state domestic violence coalitions, representing over 2,000 member organizations nationwide. The National Network to End Domestic Violence works to address the many aspects of domestic violence.

National Association of Women Judges (NAWJ) is an American professional organization founded in 1979. Members are lawyers and women judges who are dedicated to preserving judicial independence to women, minorities and other historically disfavored groups while increasing the number and advancement of women judges, and providing judicial education. The NAWJ is not to be confused with the International Association of Women Judges, which is a separate organization that was born out of the NAWJ's ten-year anniversary conference.

Australian Seal is an outdoor sculpture of 1968–69 by Thomas Bass, installed outside the Embassy of Australia, Washington, D.C., in the United States. The bronze sculpture measures approximately 8 feet (2.4 m) x 5 feet (1.5 m) x 2 feet (0.61 m) and is set on a flagstone base. It depicts a kangaroo, emu, and the Australian shield, which includes images of St. George's Cross, Queen Victoria's crown, a Maltese Cross, magpie, black swan, and lions. Above the shield is a seven-pointed star.
