Kimpton Rouge Hotel is a 137-room boutique hotel located at 16th Street Northwest and Rhode Island Avenue in Washington, D.C. Located at Scott Circle across from the Australian embassy, Hotel Rouge is one of 11 Kimpton hotel properties in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Originally a 1967 apartment building and then a Quality hotel, Kimpton Rouge Hotel opened on December 14, 2001 and is owned by LaSalle Hotel Properties of Bethesda, Maryland. The building was purchased in 2001 and underwent a $14 million renovation along with the nearby Topaz Hotel.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United States. It is located at 1401 16th Street Northwest, Washington, D.C. in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.The embassy house is a spacious, brick, Richardsonian-style house, featuring a massive hip roof, prominent chimneys and a distinctive round corner tower built in 1888. The house was designed and built by Charles and Samuel Edmonston for Susan Shields, the widow of a wealthy newspaper publisher. The house used to be the home of American Vice President James S. Sherman, the 27th Vice President of the United States. Outside the house stands a smaller version of the Golden Warrior Monument which celebrates Kazakhstan's independence. The ambassador is Yerzhan Ashikbayev and was preceded by Erzhan Kazykhanov.

The Robert Simpson Woodward House is a former residence located at 1513 16th Street, NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. From 1904 until 1914, it was a home of geologist Robert Simpson Woodward (1849–1924), the first president of the Carnegie Institution and a highly regarded scientist and science administrator. The building currently serves as the Capital Research Center headquarters. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976 and designated a contributing property to the Sixteenth Street Historic District in 1978.

The First Baptist Church of the City of Washington, D.C. is a Baptist church at 1328 16th Street NW, nine blocks north of the White House. It is affiliated with the District of Columbia Baptist Convention. The church is also considered the parent organization to the First Colored Baptist Church of Washington, D.C. which was later renamed Nineteenth Street Baptist Church. It was originally organized in 1801. The church has occupied five buildings on four sites, including one building on the site of what is now Ford's Theater. The congregation moved to its current location in 1890, with the first services held in the present sanctuary building on Christmas Day 1955. Famous attendees through history include former presidents Harry S. Truman and Jimmy Carter.

Australian Seal is an outdoor sculpture of 1968–69 by Thomas Bass, installed outside the Embassy of Australia, Washington, D.C., in the United States. The bronze sculpture measures approximately 8 feet (2.4 m) x 5 feet (1.5 m) x 2 feet (0.61 m) and is set on a flagstone base. It depicts a kangaroo, emu, and the Australian shield, which includes images of St. George's Cross, Queen Victoria's crown, a Maltese Cross, magpie, black swan, and lions. Above the shield is a seven-pointed star.

Scott Circle is an area in the northwest quadrant of Washington, D.C. that is centred on the junction of Massachusetts Avenue, Rhode Island Avenue, and 16th Street, N.W. Originally a neighbourhood recreational area, unlike Dupont Circle where political demonstrations are sometimes held, Scott has lost all social uses except as the location for public memorials.

Brevet Lt. General Winfield Scott is an equestrian statue in Washington, D.C., that honors career military officer Winfield Scott. The monument stands in the center of Scott Circle, a traffic circle and small park at the convergence of 16th Street, Massachusetts Avenue and Rhode Island Avenue NW. The statue was sculpted by Henry Kirke Brown, whose best-known works include statues of George Washington in New York and Nathanael Greene in Washington, D.C. It was the first of many sculptures honoring Civil War generals that were installed in Washington, D.C.'s traffic circles and squares and was the second statue in the city to honor Scott. The sculpture is one of the city's 18 Civil War monuments that were collectively listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The monument and park are owned and maintained by the National Park Service, a federal agency of the Interior Department. The bronze statue rests on a granite base that at the time was the largest stone ever quarried in the United States. Much criticized for its depiction of Scott and the proportions of the horse, it is considered one of the worst equestrian sculptures in the city by authors and historians.

It is located at 1400 16th Street Northwest, Suite 100, Washington, D.C. in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.The embassy also operates consulates-general in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Santa Ana, and New York City.The ambassador is Milena Mayorga, who was appointed by president Nayib Bukele on September 24, 2020.

The Samuel Hahnemann Monument, also known as Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, is a public artwork dedicated to Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy. It is located on the east side of Scott Circle, a traffic circle in the northwest quadrant of Washington, D.C. The Classical Revival monument consists of an exedra designed by architect Julius Harder and a statue sculpted by Charles Henry Niehaus, whose works include the John Paul Jones Memorial in Washington, D.C. and several statues in the National Statuary Hall Collection. The monument is significant because Hahnemann is the first foreigner not associated with the American Revolution to be honored with a sculpture in Washington, D.C. The monument was dedicated in 1900 following years of fundraising efforts by the American Institute of Homeopathy. Among the thousands of attendees at the dedication ceremony were prominent citizens including President William McKinley, Attorney General John W. Griggs, and General John Moulder Wilson. The monument was rededicated in 2000 and a restoration process was completed in 2011. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. The monument and surrounding lot are owned and maintained by the National Park Service, a federal agency of the Interior Department.

CTIA is a trade association representing the wireless communications industry in the United States. The association was established in 1984 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. It is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit membership organization, and represents wireless carriers and suppliers, and manufacturers and providers of wireless products and services.CTIA operates certification programs for the wireless industry and publishes wireless industry surveys. It has also sponsored various public service initiatives related to wireless. It was originally known as the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association until 2004, and later the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association. The organization has since operated under its initialism only, but subtitled as CTIA – The Wireless Association until 2015.
