The Administration Building, Carnegie Institute of Washington is a Beaux-Arts style building designed by architects Carrere and Hastings, and located at 1530 P Street NW in Washington, D.C. It houses the Carnegie Institution for Science, a philanthropic scientific research organization founded in 1902 by Andrew Carnegie. In recognition of the building's architecture and its unique tenant, the building was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1965. The building was also designated a contributing property to the Sixteenth Street Historic District in 1978.

Capital Research Center (CRC) is an American conservative non-profit organization located in Washington, D.C. Its stated purpose is "to study non-profit organizations, with a special focus on reviving the American traditions of charity, philanthropy, and voluntarism." According to The Washington Post, it also discourages donations by corporations and non-profits supporting what it sees as liberal or anti-business policies. It monitors the giving of major liberal donors in the U.S.

St. Luke's Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located at 1514 15th Street, N.W., in Washington, D.C. Completed in 1879, it is home to the oldest African-American Episcopal congregation in the city. It was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1976 for its association with Rev. Alexander Crummell (1819–1898), a leading figure advocating black self-sufficiency and civil rights in the mid-19th century.St. Luke's continues as an active parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Washington. As of 2012, the Priest-in-Charge is the Rev. Ray D. Massenburg.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United States. It is located at 1401 16th Street Northwest, Washington, D.C. in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.The embassy house is a spacious, brick, Richardsonian-style house, featuring a massive hip roof, prominent chimneys and a distinctive round corner tower built in 1888. The house was designed and built by Charles and Samuel Edmonston for Susan Shields, the widow of a wealthy newspaper publisher. The house used to be the home of American Vice President James S. Sherman, the 27th Vice President of the United States. Outside the house stands a smaller version of the Golden Warrior Monument which celebrates Kazakhstan's independence. The ambassador is Yerzhan Ashikbayev and was preceded by Erzhan Kazykhanov.

The Kazakh ambassador in Washington, D. C. is the official representative of the Government in Astana to the Government of the United States and is concurrently accredited in Brasilia.

The Robert Simpson Woodward House is a former residence located at 1513 16th Street, NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. From 1904 until 1914, it was a home of geologist Robert Simpson Woodward (1849–1924), the first president of the Carnegie Institution and a highly regarded scientist and science administrator. The building currently serves as the Capital Research Center headquarters. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976 and designated a contributing property to the Sixteenth Street Historic District in 1978.

The Serbian Embassy, Washington, D.C. (alternatively, Embassy of Serbia, Washington, D.C.) is the primary diplomatic mission of Serbia to the United States. The embassy is located at 1333 16th Street NW, in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The current ambassador of Serbia to the United States is Marko Đurić, since 8 October 2020.

Grace Reformed Church is a historic church building in Northwest, Washington, D.C. A notable member was Theodore Roosevelt, who regularly attended services there during his term as United States president.The congregation was originally organized in 1877 as a member of the Reformed Church in the United States (RCUS), which eventually merged into the United Church of Christ (UCC). Construction on the current building began in 1902, with then-Vice President Roosevelt laying the cornerstone; he also gave an address at its 1903 dedication.As of late 2019, the original congregation no longer met at the building, but two other congregations occupied it as renters. Christ Reformed Church (URCNA) rented space in the building from approximately 2011 to the end of 2019. In 2016, Christ Reformed was told that its rental agreement would soon be ending to facilitate a likely sale of the building. Christ Reformed announced its new location in December 2019.The Community Church of Washington, D.C. (CCWDC) also holds services in the building. Like the original Grace Reformed, it is a congregation of the United Church of Christ. As of December 2019, CCWDC had not yet formal plans to vacate the property.The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places, along with its Sunday School and Parish House, in 1991.

Located at Scott Circle across from the Australian embassy, Hotel Rouge is one of 11 Kimpton hotel properties in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Originally a 1967 apartment building and then a Quality hotel, Kimpton Rouge Hotel opened on December 14, 2001 and is owned by LaSalle Hotel Properties of Bethesda, Maryland. The building was purchased in 2001 and underwent a $14 million renovation along with the nearby Topaz Hotel.

Kimpton Banneker Hotel is a 144-room boutique hotel located at 16th Street Northwest and Rhode Island Avenue in Washington, D.C. It is located at Scott Circle across from the Australian embassy. Originally a 1967 apartment building and then a Quality hotel, it opened as the Kimpton Rouge Hotel on December 14, 2001, and was owned by LaSalle Hotel Properties of Bethesda, Maryland. The building was purchased in 2001 and underwent a $14 million renovation along with the nearby Topaz Hotel. After selling to new owners in 2019, it underwent further renovations and reopened in June 2021 as the Kimpton Banneker Hotel.
