Wilder's Folly (also known as Pincent's Kiln, Nunhide Tower and Flint's Folly) is a folly and dovecote at Nunhide, near the village of Sulham in the English county of Berkshire.

Draper's Osier Bed Stream is a small stream in southern England, in the county of Berkshire. It is formed at a weir on a section of the River Kennet running alongside the Kennet and Avon Canal, and travels east for a while, before merging with the Kennet upstream of the head of the Holy Brook stream. An osier bed is where historically willows were planted and coppiced to produce withies which were used for basket making, fish-traps, and other purposes. The willow species salix viminalis was typically grown for this purpose. Willow rods (cuttings) would be planted, which root easily in moist ground, and the growth of the willow withies would be cut every one or two years.

Sheffield Lock, at grid reference SU648706, is a lock on the Kennet and Avon Canal, in the civil parish of Burghfield in the English county of Berkshire. It is also sometimes known as Shenfield Lock. Sheffield Lock was built between 1718 and 1723 under the supervision of the engineer John Hore of Newbury, and this stretch of the river is now administered by the Canal & River Trust as part of the Kennet Navigation. It has a change in level of 2 ft 2 in (0.66 m).The lock was built in the early 18th century and was originally turf-sided. It was enlarged in the mid 18th century to cope with larger "Newbury barges" and has 20th century alterations. It consists of brick chamber walls of 11 scalloped bays, with brick coping and has 2 sets of double wooden gates, all with mechanical gate paddle gearing. The lock is Grade II listed, and a scheduled monument.

Theale () is a village and civil parish in the West Berkshire unitary area of the county of Berkshire, England. It is 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Reading and 10 miles (16 km) east of Thatcham. The compact parish is bounded to the south and south-east by the Kennet & Avon Canal (which here incorporates the River Kennet), to the north by a golf course, to the east by the M4 motorway and to the west by the A340 road.

Garston Lock (grid reference SU655707) is a lock on the Kennet and Avon Canal. It is near the M4 motorway and near Reading, England. Garston Lock was built between 1718 and 1723 under the supervision of the engineer John Hore of Newbury, and this stretch of the river is now administered by Canal & River Trust and known as the Kennet Navigation. It has a rise/fall of 7 ft 7ins (2.29m).One of only two remaining working examples of turf sided locks on the canal (the other being Monkey Marsh Lock), Garston Lock has been described as needing "more water to operate than the now more common brick or stone-sided variety" as the sloping sides increase the volume of the lock.The two sets of lock gates work differently: the upper set operates via a mechanical system, while the lower gates are hydraulic. The top part of the lock chamber has sloping banks which are covered by vegetation of various types rather than by turf. An arrangement of steel rails ensures that boats stay in the centre of the lock during the rise/fall of 7 ft 7 in (2.31 m). The lock is a grade II* listed building.Two pillboxes dating from World War II at the northwest and southeast corners of the lock, which were built as anti tank defences, are also listed buildings.

Theale railway station serves the village of Theale, England. It is 41 miles 22 chains (41.28 miles, 66.43 km) measured from London Paddington. The station is served by Great Western Railway local services between Reading and Newbury, limited semi-fast peak services between Bedwyn and London and a limited semi-fast service between London and Westbury, Taunton, Frome, Penzance and Exeter St Davids.

Little Heath School is a voluntary-aided co-educational comprehensive secondary school. The school is located in the Little Heath area of the Reading suburb of Tilehurst, in the English county of Berkshire. Because of its location outside the Reading borough boundary, but in Reading, the school is managed by the West Berkshire Local Education Authority though it serves a catchment area that covers both sides of the borough boundary. The school's pupil capacity is approximately 1,700 students. In February 2018, the school received a 'Good' rating from an Ofsted formal Inspection.The current sixth form center, which was purpose-built in 2015, was opened by Reading West MP Alok Sharma. Part of the campus was rebuilt from 2019-2021, including drama and technology spaces, a gym, and a new canteen. The campus was open for use in April 2021.Little Heath has a house system, installed in 2014. The four houses are named after castles in the United Kingdom: Stirling (Red), Arundel (Green), Conway (Blue), and Warwick (Yellow).Little Heath also has annual sports days where each house competes against the other. The 2017/18-2021/22 winners were Stirling and then Arundel in the 2022/23

Royal Air Force Theale or more simply RAF Theale is a former Royal Air Force satellite station located south of Theale, Berkshire, England. The following units were here at some point: Relief Landing Ground for No. 8 Elementary Flying Training School RAF (September 1939 - July 1941) No. 26 Elementary Flying Training School RAF (August 1941 - July 1945) No. 42 Group Communication Flight RAF (1942 - May 1944) No. 128 Gliding School RAF (July 1944 - July 1948) No. 2818 Squadron RAF Regiment Air Crew Disposal Unit (October - December 1945)

Holy Trinity Church, Theale is a Church of England parish church in the Diocese of Oxford. It was completed in 1832 in the Early English style, influenced by Salisbury Cathedral. The church is a Grade I listed building.

Calcot, or Calcot Row, is a village in the West Berkshire unitary area of the county of Berkshire, England. Calcot straddles the historic A4 Bath Road and is between the hamlet of Horncastle, and Junction 12 of the M4 motorway. Tilehurst is to the north, and the village of Theale is to the west, across the motorway. Its named neighbourhoods include Beansheaf Farm and Fords Farm south of the centre developed in the early 21st century. It is contiguous with Reading and Theale.

Little Heath is a suburb of the town of Reading, in the county of Berkshire, England. It is part of the larger suburb of Tilehurst (where according to the grid ref the majority of the 2011 Census population was included), forming the south western flank of that suburb and bordering on open countryside to its west.
