Carvers Creek Township is a civil township in Cumberland County, North Carolina. The population was 22,866 at the 2010 census.

Pine Forest High School is a public high school in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is situated on Andrews Road, close to Howard Hall Elementary School, Pine Forest Middle School, and Methodist University. The mascot for Pine Forest is the Trojan warrior.

Ellerslie is a historic plantation house located near Linden, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It was built about 1790, and is a 1 1/2-story, six bay by two bay, Georgian style frame dwelling with a two-story Greek Revival style addition. It features a wide shed porch with plastered cove ceiling.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Cool Springs was a historic home located near Carvers Creek, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It consisted of two sections: a 1+1⁄2-story Federal style coastal cottage form section dated to about 1815-1820 and a two-story, Greek Revival style section dated to about 1825–1830. Also on the property are the contributing barn; a late-19th century storage building; a mid-19th century one-story house, said to have been a school; and a spring house. The house has been demolished. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Thorbiskope, also known as the John Elliot House, is a historic plantation house located near Bunnlevel, Harnett County, North Carolina. It was built in two sections. The earliest section was built about 1820, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, Georgian / Federal style frame Coastal Cottage frame dwelling that forms the rear ell. About 1848, the two-story, five bay by two bay, Greek Revival style front section was added. It features a one-bay front portico.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

WCCE (90.1 FM; "His Radio") is a radio station broadcasting a contemporary Christian format. Licensed to Buies Creek, North Carolina, United States, the station serves the Fayetteville area. The station is owned by Radio Training Network and is a full-time satellite of WRTP in Franklinton.

The March F. Riddle Center is a multi-purpose arena on the campus of Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The arena was built in 1990. With a capacity of 1,300 people, it is home to the Methodist Monarchs college basketball and volleyball teams in the NCAA Division III USA South Athletic Conference. It was also home to the Carolina Cougarz of the Continental Basketball League for their only year in the league.

Methodist University is a private university that is affiliated with the North Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.The university offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including doctoral-level options, on campus and online. It offers 22 fully online degrees and certificate programs. Methodist University also features more than 80 student clubs and organizations, along with 20 NCAA intercollegiate sports. It has graduated more than 12,000 students since its first graduating class in 1964.

Monarch Stadium is a college football stadium located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The stadium is the home field of the Methodist Monarchs. The stadium originally had grass seating until chair-back seating for 800 was added in 1999. Visitors are seated on portable risers that are set on the outer edge of the stadium's track, opposite to home seating. Visitors and Home fans are required to seat next to each other. The Monarchs compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III USA South Athletic Conference.

Northwood Temple Academy, also known as NTA, is a private, Christian school that is a part of Northwood Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church. Located at 4200 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina, it has approximately 460 students enrolled. There are weekly chapel services and/or reboot groups. Northwood is PreK-12, and has AP and honors classes for high school. Northwood Temple Academy is ACSI, SACS, and CASA accredited. The school also has a band class that accepts students from 6th-12th grades. Northwood Temple offers a variety of sports at various levels, including: Boys and Girls soccer (Middle School and Varsity), Volleyball (Middle School, Varsity, and JV) Basketball (Middle School, Varsity, and JV). The current Head of School is Renee McLamb, and the current principals are Ann Warren (9-12), Stephanie Marsh (6-8), and Janet Wright (K-5).

North Durham County Prison Camp, also known as Durham County Tuberculosis Sanatorium, is a historic prison and sanatorium located at Durham, Durham County, North Carolina. It was built in 1925, and is a three-story, T-shaped, Italianate style brick building. The building measures 232 feet long and has 17,000 square feet of floorspace. It features a three-bay, Tuscan order portico in the Colonial Revival style. The building was originally constructed to serve as a prison facility. It housed a prison between 1925 and 1938, was converted for use as a tuberculosis sanatorium beginning in 1944 and continued this function until 1953. It then housed WTVD Television Corporation until 1979.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
