Methodist University is a private university that is affiliated with the North Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.The university offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including doctoral-level options, on campus and online. It offers 22 fully online degrees and certificate programs. Methodist University also features more than 80 student clubs and organizations, along with 20 NCAA intercollegiate sports. It has graduated more than 12,000 students since its first graduating class in 1964.

Monarch Stadium is a college football stadium located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The stadium is the home field of the Methodist Monarchs. The stadium originally had grass seating until chair-back seating for 800 was added in 1999. Visitors are seated on portable risers that are set on the outer edge of the stadium's track, opposite to home seating. Visitors and Home fans are required to seat next to each other. The Monarchs compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III USA South Athletic Conference.

Northwood Temple Academy, also known as NTA, is a private, Christian school that is a part of Northwood Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church. Located at 4200 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina, it has approximately 460 students enrolled. There are weekly chapel services and/or reboot groups. Northwood is PreK-12, and has AP and honors classes for high school. Northwood Temple Academy is ACSI, SACS, and CASA accredited. The school also has a band class that accepts students from 6th-12th grades. Pine Forest High School is a public high school in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is situated on Andrews Road, close to Howard Hall Elementary School, Pine Forest Middle School, and Methodist University. The mascot for Pine Forest is the Trojan warrior.

Robert Strange Country House, also known as Myrtle Hill, is a historic home located at Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It was built about 1825, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, gable roofed, Federal style frame dwelling. It has a 1+1⁄2-story rear ell and features a gable portico supported by two Tuscan order columns. Also on the property are a contributing spring house and a summer kitchen. It was the country home of U.S. Senator Robert Strange (1796-1854). The house stood at the center of Strange's large plantation.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

It encompasses 8 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, 1 contributing structure, and 1 contributing object on the medical center campus. They include the main building/outpatient clinic (1939), service building (1939), manager's quarters (1939), attendants’ quarters (1939), laundry building (1939), the flag pole (1939), and the attendants’ quarters (1939). Also located in the district is the separately listed Confederate Breastworks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

E. E. Smith High School (also Ezekiel Ezra Smith High School, E.E.S., Smith High, Smith) is a high school in Fayetteville, North Carolina. A part of Cumberland County Schools, it is named for Ezekiel Ezra Smith and is home of the Golden Bulls. High school aged dependents of personnel living on the military reservation of Fort Liberty, in Cumberland County, are zoned to E. E. Smith.
