Loxley House, Nottingham

Nottingham station, briefly known as Nottingham City and for rather longer as Nottingham Midland, is a railway station and tram stop in the city of Nottingham. It is the principal railway station of Nottingham. It is also a nodal point on the city's tram system, with a tram stop that was originally called Station Street but is now known as Nottingham Station. The station was first built by the Midland Railway (MR) in 1848 and rebuilt by the same company in 1904, with much of the current building dating from the later date. It is now owned by Network Rail and managed by East Midlands Railway (EMR). Besides EMR trains, it is also served by CrossCountry and Northern trains and by Nottingham Express Transit (NET) trams. The station was one of several that once served the city of Nottingham. Amongst these were the city centre stations of Nottingham Victoria on the Great Central Railway, and Nottingham London Road on the Great Northern Railway; both of these stations are now closed. A number of minor stations served localities outside the city centre, but the only such station to remain open within the city boundaries is Bulwell. On 12 January 2018, the newly renovated buildings of Nottingham station were badly damaged by fire.

Nottingham Crown Court, or more formally the High Court of Justice and Crown Court, Nottingham is a Crown Court and High Court of Justice in Nottingham, England. The building houses Nottingham Crown Court, Nottingham Family Court, The High Court of Justice and Nottingham County Court.

Trent House is the European headquarters of the finance company Capital One. It is situated on Station Street to the south of the centre of the English city of Nottingham, opposite Nottingham railway station and adjacent to Loxley House, the administrative headquarters of Nottingham City Council. The building dates from 1951, when it was built as a print works for the pharmaceutical company Boots, whose various premises occupied most of the surrounding area at that time. By 1998 the building was in a derelict condition when it was acquired by Capital One, who undertook a major internal transformation of the building between 1998 and 2000 for their use.Shortly after they moved in, Capital One acquired the adjoining plot and had Loxley House built on it to provided extra space. Loxley House was occupied in 2002, but in 2009 Capital One moved out and sold it to Nottingham City Council, whilst still retaining Trent House. In 2021, Capital One revealed plans to the remodel Trent House, to include a roof terrace for employees and visitors to use, and to introduce fresh internal conference space.Trent House provides 306,000 square feet (28,400 m2) of office space.

The church of St. John the Baptist, Leenside, Nottingham was opened in 1844 as a parish church in the Church of England. It was destroyed in 1941.

High Pavement is a street in Nottingham, England. It is one of the earliest streets in the city, and most of its buildings are listed.

The National Justice Museum (formerly known as the Galleries of Justice Museum and, historically, the Shire Hall and County Gaol) is an independent museum on High Pavement in the Lace Market area of Nottingham, England. The museum is housed in a former Victorian courtroom, prison, and police station and is therefore a historic site where an individual could be arrested, tried, sentenced and executed. The courtrooms date back to the 14th century and the gaol to at least 1449. The building is a Grade II* listed building and the museum is a registered charity.

Broadmarsh bus station was a bus station serving the city of Nottingham, England. The bus station was situated in Nottingham City Centre adjacent to the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, underneath its multi-storey car park. It was bordered by Canal Street (A6008 road) and could be accessed from the shopping centre. The station was 250 metres (270 yd) away from Nottingham railway and tram stations. Broadmarsh had a total of 16 bays, Trent Barton were the main provider of bus services from the bus station with other services provided by Centrebus, Kinchbus and University of Nottingham Hopper Bus services. Services from Broadmarsh operated mainly to villages or towns such as Bingham, Loughborough, Long Eaton and Oakham, the CentreLink bus service also operates from Broadmarsh to Queen's Drive and the nearby Victoria Bus Station and Victoria Centre. National Express services also operated to/from Broadmarsh. Nottingham City Transport services that serve the Broadmarsh shopping centre go from bus stands located on Collin Street.It closed on 9 July 2017 as part of a redevelopment of the area.

Nottingham Contemporary (formerly known as the Centre for Contemporary Art Nottingham (CCAN)) is a contemporary art centre in the Lace Market area of Nottingham. The gallery opened in 2009.The gallery describes its site as being "the oldest in the city", having been the site of a Saxon fort. To celebrate the area's history of lace manufacture, the cladding of the building is embossed with a traditional Nottingham lace pattern. Nottingham Contemporary is a registered charity under English law.
