Windsor—Tecumseh (provincial electoral district)

Windsor—Tecumseh is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 2004.

Forest Glade is an urban/suburban community located in the east end of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Forest Glade forms a large section of the Windsor's border with Tecumseh, Ontario and is situated near the former town of Riverside, Ontario. It has an estimated population of 19,000 people. The physical borders of the community are Tecumseh Road East to the North, Banwell Road to the East, Lauzon Road to the West, and E.C. Row Expressway to the South. Forest Glade is accessed from three directions: West (off Lauzon Parkway), north (off Tecumseh Road East), and east (off Banwell Road). Nearby to a Tecumseh Road entrance is an entrance to the Ganatchio Trail, as well as a multitude of fast food restaurants, Tecumseh Mall, and several grocery stores. It has quick access to E.C. Row Expressway and is home to the easternmost sections of Transit Windsors 1C, 4, and 10 bus routes, providing excellent access to virtually anywhere in the city.

The Conseil scolaire catholique Providence (Csc Providence) is the French-language Catholic school board for southwestern Ontario, Canada. The Providence Catholic School Board includes 10,000 students in its 31 schools: 23 elementary schools and 8 high schools for the communities of Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, London/Middlesex, Oxford-Woodstock, Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth. The board was previously known as the Conseil scolaire de district des écoles catholiques du Sud-Ouest (CSDÉCSO).The board's head office is in Windsor, and it maintains satellite offices in the Pain Court section of Chatham-Kent, and in London; the London office serves Middlesex County.

St. Joseph's Catholic High School is a Catholic high school in Windsor, Ontario operated by the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board. L. Beltran is the current principal. A new school 160,000 square feet (15,000 m2) in size with space for more than 1,200 students has been built at the corner of McHugh and Clover Avenue, just north of Tecumseh Road East in Windsor. It opened in September 2006. This newer school has replaced the former one at 5420 Empress Street in Windsor. The new school building includes a physical education workout facility, cafetorium, football field & track, atrium, and the St. Joseph's Chapel. St. Joseph's has a wide variety of sports also including football, soccer, baseball, volleyball, basketball, badminton, curling, wrestling and golf. St. Joseph's High School currently offers Specialist High Skills Major programs in six areas of study: Health and Wellness, Visual Arts & Media, Construction Technology, Business, French Non-Profit, and Environmental. Blue Heron Lake is an L-shaped man-made lake located in East Riverside Park in the east of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Created in 1997, it serves to treat the outflow from several storm water drains.

Windsor Casting Plant was an iron foundry owned by Ford Motor Company in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The plant opened November 9, 1934 and was located next to the Windsor Engine Plant in downtown Windsor. It was known to area residents as "the foundry". Internally, it was called WCP. Operations ceased on May 29, 2007 as part of Ford's "The Way Forward" plan. During its time in operation, it was one of Canada's largest recyclers. It recycled any kind of scrap metal with iron in it. In 1998, the foundry used the scrap metal from the demolition of neighbouring Windsor Engine #1 to cast 175,000 engine blocks. Although being considered an outdated facility, WCP was frequently awarded with many quality and environmental awards.Windsor Casting and the adjacent engine plant were the original production location and namesake for the Windsor V8 engine.

Essex Engine Plant is a Ford factory located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It currently produces Ford's 5.0L V8 engine. The plant was built in 1981 to produce Ford's Essex V6 engine.

The Little River Extension (full name: Ganatchio Trail – Little River Extension) is one of the newest and busiest recreational trails in Windsor, Ontario, having been built in 1996. The trail is used mainly as a link between the large subdivision of Forest Glade, to Ganatchio Trail, Sandpoint Beach, Stop 26 Beach, and Lakeview Park And Marina. The trail has a posted speed limit of 20 kilometres per hour (12 mph).The Trail was sponsored by Lions Club International, Kiwanis, and Rotary International, as a gesture of goodwill for the eastern side of the city. The trail sees a great deal of traffic in the summer time, but nowhere near as much as the Riverfront Bike Trail. The trail has a commemorative sign depicting its length, map location, and a sign for the Lions Club International and Rotary International at the northern roundabout/traffic circle with the Ganatchio Trail. The trail also has a second roundabout/traffic circle with the extension of Little River Road, which leads west towards the Riverside and Villages of Riverside neighbourhoods.

École secondaire catholique l'Essor is a publicly funded separate (Catholic), French-language high school located in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada (formerly St. Clair Beach), established in 1979. It serves the Francophone population of Essex County. The name l'Essor, coined by local resident Florence Limoges, is a portmanteau combining "Essex" and "Windsor". Essor also refers to the French word "to take flight". The school belongs to the Conseil scolaire catholique Providence. The small school participates in a wide variety of local activities in the Francophone community. A notable example is the Franco Bowl, an annual football match against neighboring Windsor's French Catholic high-school, École secondaire E.J. Lajeunesse. The school has a very high percentage of graduates and high test scores.

Essex Aluminum Plant is a former Ford Motor Company metal casting plant in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It opened in 1981, and produced aluminum cylinder heads and pistons for various Ford engine plants. In 2001, the plant was sold to Nemak, a joint venture between Ford and Mexican industrial conglomerate Alfa. With Nemak's consolidation of its operations in 2009, the plant was closed except for the melting operation, which closed in 2012.

The Serbian Heritage Museum is not-for-profit community museum in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, located inside the Serbian Center. It is the largest Serbian museum located outside of Serbia. Exhibits in the museum are bilingual (Serbian and English).

Riverside Secondary School (RSS) is a public high school that offers programs and classes for grades 9 to 12 in the community of Riverside, in the east end of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In 2018, RSS became an IB World School authorized to offer the Diploma Programme.
