The Accademia nazionale di danza (National Dance Academy) was established in 1940 in Italy and aims to promote the art and technique of dance. The National Dance Academy is the only university-level institute in Italy dedicated exclusively to the training of dancers, teachers, and choreographers, awarding academy diplomas equivalent to laurea (bachelor's degree) and laurea magistrale (master's degree).

The Aventine Hill (; Latin: Collis Aventinus; Italian: Aventino [avenˈtiːno]) is one of the Seven Hills on which ancient Rome was built. It belongs to Ripa, the modern twelfth rione, or ward, of Rome.

The Embassy of Poland in Rome (Polish: Ambasada Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej w Rzymie; Italian: Ambasciata della Repubblica di Polonia in Italia) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Poland to the Italian Republic. The chancery is located at Via P.P.Rubens 20, Rome. The Polish Embassy in Rome is located in a period building situated behind a protective wall just off Via P.P.Rubens. The embassy is protected by the Italian state police and the Carabinieri. It is open to both Polish citizens and citizens of the European Union for representation, protection and legal concerns, however it only deals with passport and consular business for Polish citizens and visa applicants (of all nations). Since 2019 the ambassador of the Polish Republic to the Italian Republic is Anna Maria Anders. The Polish ambassador to Italy is also accredited to the Republic of San Marino.

The Baths of Decius (Latin: thermae Decianae) were a thermae (baths) complex built on the Aventine Hill by the emperor Decius in 249 or 252. Its site was between the present-day sites of the churches of Santo Alessio and Santa Prisca, on the Vigna Torlonia, under piazza del Tempio di Diana (named after the Temple of Diana) and the Casale Maccharini Torlonia, which includes remains from the baths. Some other ruins of the baths also survive. Earlier buildings on the site have also left remains, which can be seen in the basement of the Casale Torlonia and under the piazza del Tempio di Diana. These buildings show something like opus quasi reticulatum, with traces of a decorative scheme of painted stucco imitating marble in the Pompeian First Style, the oldest evidence of this style in Rome, dating to the last quarter of the 2nd century BC. Another building on the site is lavishly decorated with mosaics and wall-paintings showing masks, flowers and landscapes. It dates to the Trajanic period and may have been the Privata Traiani, Trajan's private residence before he became emperor, which is known to have been in the area, or one of Decius' own residences. The main source for the appearance of the Baths of Decius is a plan made by Andrea Palladio, now in the Duke of Devonshire's collection. The complex was 70 by 35 metres, including an apse belonging to an aula at the southern corner. They were built to serve the wealthy and sophisticated inhabitants of the Aventine, unlike the nearby Baths of Caracalla, which were larger but intended for mass use by the inhabitants of Regio XII. They were decorated with artworks, including an infant Hercules in green basalt and a sleeping Endymion, both now in the Capitoline Museums. The complex is mentioned in several inscriptions which not only confirm its location but also give certain details on its history, such as its two restorations, once by Constantius I or Constantius II and a second one in 414 under Honorius by Caecina Decius Acinatius Albinus following damage in Alaric's Sack of Rome.

Santa Prisca is a titular church of Rome, on the Aventine Hill, for Cardinal-priests. It is recorded as the Titulus Priscae in the acts of the 499 synod.

The Baths of Licinius Sura or Thermae Suranae were a private ancient Roman bath complex built by Lucius Licinius Sura on the Aventine Hill (Regio XIII Aventinus) in Rome.They were restored during the short reign of Gordian III. The baths were damaged during the 410 sack of Rome by Alaric I, and again restored in 414. The baths probably served a more affluent community than the Baths of Caracalla, and were smaller and probably more elegant. Although now no ruins remain, their approximate location was: 41.88297°N 12.48315°E / 41.88297; 12.48315, and are partially shown on slab VII-14 of the Forma Urbis Romae, numbered as fragment 21a by E. Rodríguez Almeida.Their location must have been in the immediate vicinity to the west of the church of Santa Prisca, near the Temple of Diana, with the arches of the Aqua Marcia which fed them, passing right along the site of the current church. On the Forma Urbis, to the north of the baths there is also a temple of uncertain identification, perhaps the Temple of Luna or the Temple of Vertumnus, both of which were republican.

The Circus Maximus (Latin for "largest circus"; Italian: Circo Massimo) is an ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue in Rome, Italy. In the valley between the Aventine and Palatine hills, it was the first and largest stadium in ancient Rome and its later Empire. It measured 621 m (2,037 ft) in length and 118 m (387 ft) in width and could accommodate over 150,000 spectators. In its fully developed form, it became the model for circuses throughout the Roman Empire. The site is now a public park.

The Temple of Diana was an edifice in ancient Rome which, according to the early semi-legendary history of Rome, was built in the 6th century BC during the reign of the king Servius Tullius.

The Temple of Minerva was a temple on the summit of the Aventine Hill in Rome, next to the Temple of Diana. It is now completely disappeared, but the Forma Urbis Romae confirms its appearance as a peripteral hexastyle on a different orientation to the Temple of Diana. The date and founder of the temple is unknown, but it is known to have existed in the 3rd century BC. It was the centre of the craft guilds in general and, by the end of the 3rd century BC, the writers' and actors' guilds in particular. In 123 BC Gaius Gracchus and his supporters tried in vain to seek refuge in the temple during their flight from Rome. The sanctuary was repaired by Emperor Augustus. The building still existed in the 4th-century, when it is mentioned in the Forma Urbis Romae. If still in use by the 4th-century, it would have been closed during the persecution of pagans in the late Roman Empire.

Sant'Anastasia is a minor basilica and titular church for cardinal-priests in Rome, Italy owned by the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church.

The Lupercal (from Latin lupa "female wolf") was a cave at the southwest foot of the Palatine Hill in Rome, located somewhere between the temple of Magna Mater and the Sant'Anastasia al Palatino. In the legend of the founding of Rome, Romulus and Remus were found there by the she-wolf who suckled them until they were rescued by the shepherd Faustulus. Luperci, the priests of Faunus, celebrated certain ceremonies of the Lupercalia at the cave, from the earliest days of the City until at least 494 AD.

The Orange Trees Garden (Italian: Giardino degli aranci) is the name used in Rome to describe the Parco Savello. It is about 7,800 square meters and is located on the Aventine Hill. The park offers an excellent view of the city. The garden, as it is today, was designed in 1932 by Raffaele De Vico. It was constructed to offer public access to the view from the side of the hill, creating a new ‘’belvedere’’, to be added to the existing viewpoints in Rome from the Pincian Hill and the Janiculum.
