The Ivernia Apartment Building is a historic residential apartment building at 91-93 Pine Street on the east side of Springfield, Massachusetts. Built in 1910, it is a well-preserved example of a Classical Revival apartment house, built during a boom period of apartment construction in the city. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Springfield Cemetery is located in the Connecticut River Valley city of Springfield, Massachusetts. The cemetery opened in 1841 and was planned on the model of a rural cemetery. With the relocation of remains from the city's earliest burying ground, the cemetery became the final resting place for many of Springfield's 17th and 18th century pioneer settlers.

The Elias Brookings School is a historic former school building at 367 Hancock Street in the Six Corners neighborhood of Springfield, Massachusetts. Built in 1925, it is a good local example of period school architecture. It was used as a school until 2011, when it suffered extensive damage in a rare tornado. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023.

Old Hill is one of the seventeen neighborhoods of Springfield, Massachusetts. It is composed, almost entirely, of Victorian buildings overlooking Springfield's Metro Center. At the start of the twenty-first century, the Old Hill neighborhood struggled to maintain its vitality. Drugs and traffic had become a problem. Despite that, Old Hill had neighborhood groups and committed residents, numerous religious organizations, supportive neighborhood businesses, and Springfield College, all of which banded together to revitalize the neighborhood. Currently, crime is down 50%, and many of Old Hill's "Painted Lady" Victorians are being restored.

The Adams Apartment Building is a historic eight-unit apartment building at 71 Adams Street in the South End of Springfield, Massachusetts. Built in 1912, it is a well-preserved local example of Classical Revival architecture. The building, which suffered significant damage in the 2011 Springfield tornado and has been restored, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Outing Park Historic District, also known as Hollywood, is a residential historic district in the South End of Springfield, Massachusetts. It is a collection of 23 residential apartment blocks that were built between 1914 and 1926 by the prolific building firm, Gagnier & Angers. They occupy a relatively compact area, a few blocks along Niagara, Oswego, and Bayonne Streets, along with a few buildings on Dwight Street Extension and Saratoga Street. The district represents a distinctive and large concentration of period apartment blocks in the city, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Hancock Apartment Building. also known as the Schaffer Apartments, is a historic mixed-used retail and residential apartment building at 116-118 Hancock Street and 130 Tyler Street on the east side of Springfield, Massachusetts. Built in 1912, it is good local example of an early 20th-century Classical Revival apartment house, built as the city's outer neighborhoods grew as streetcar suburbs. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Van Horn Park is a park in Springfield, Massachusetts' northern Liberty Heights neighborhood, in a subdivision called Hungry Hill. It is the second largest park in the City of Springfield. (The city's largest park is the 735-acre Forest Park in the southern Forest Park neighborhood.)

High School of Commerce, also known as Springfield High School of Commerce, is a public high school in Springfield, Massachusetts. Enrollment is about 1,400 students. The school is at 415 State Street. It offers an International Baccalaureate program that about 15 percent of students pursue. Minority enrollment is 91 percent. It is one of six high schools in Springfield. The school's graduation rate was 59 percent and it fell below the district and state averages in testing. Of the students who participated in the IB program, 81 percent passed their IB exams. A majority of the student body is Hispanic.The school offers an ROTC program.In 2019 a student was arrested at the school after having words with the officer at the school. Video of the incident contradicted the officer's report that the student walked toward the officer after the comments were made, instead showing the officer approach the student who was walking away.Long-serving Agawam town clerk, Richard Theroux, became a teacher at the school after stepping down from office. Theroux was also fined $10,000 for violating Conflict of Interest law.

The Evans Court Apartment Building is a historic apartment building at 22-24 Winthrop Street in the South End of Springfield, Massachusetts. Built in 1910, it is a good example of a Classical Revival apartment house, and one of the first to be built in the city after it introduced a new fire code. Rehabilitated in 2014, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.
