MultiRS (channel 48) is a Brazilian university television station based in Canoas, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, which operates on virtual channel 48.1, granted to the capital Porto Alegre, relaying TV Cultura. Maintained by the Lutheran University of Brazil (Ulbra), it was opened in 2004 under the name Ulbra TV, broadcasting programming aimed at young audiences in partnership with STV, having quickly adopted a more generalist and educational schedule. Its studios are in the Ulbratech technology park building, on the university campus in Canoas, and its transmitting antenna is at the top of Morro da Police, in Porto Alegre.

The Museu de Ciências Naturais da Fundação Zoobotânica do Rio Grande do Sul ("Museum of Natural Sciences of the Rio Grande do Sul Zoobotanical Foundation"), is a Brazilian museum located inside the Porto Alegre Botanical Garden. Open from Monday to Sunday 9am to 12pm and from 13h30 to 17h. Emerged in 1954 from the breakup of a natural history collection of the Júlio de Castilhos Museum.The permanent exhibition features 49 windows, that approach the richness of species native to Rio Grande do Sul, both flora and fauna. The show is organized in an evolutionary sequence: plant today, groups of animals and paleontological showcases. In this way, show the characteristic fauna of various ecosystems of the state: swamp, field and forest.

Partenon (literally Parthenon in Portuguese) is a neighbourhood in the city of Porto Alegre, the state capital of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It was created by Law 2022 from December 7, 1959. Partenon was named after the Parthenon Literary Society, officially founded in 1868 by a group of writers and intellectuals. In its area, there are two important places nowadays: the São Pedro Psychiatric Hospital, inaugurated in 1884, and the central campus of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, one of the best private universities in the country. It is considered a middle and lower class neighborhood in Porto Alegre, and little slums can be found here.
