Upper Greensand Hangers: Wyck to Wheatley is a 13.2-hectare (33-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Alton in Hampshire. It is part of the East Hampshire Hangers Special Area of Conservation.This site is composed of woods on the steep rocky slopes of the Upper Greensand. Bare rocks are covered by lime-loving bryophytes such as Tortula marginata, Chiloscyphus pallescens and Fissidens gracilifolius. There is also a population of the nationally scarce mollusc Macrogastra rolphii.

Binsted is a village and large civil parish in East Hampshire, England. It is about 4.1 miles (6.6 km) east of Alton, its nearest town. The parish is one of the largest in northern Hampshire and covers almost 7,000 acres (2,800 ha). It contains two villages, Bucks Horn Oak and Holt Pound, as well as two hamlets, Wyck and Wheatley. The parish also covers the entirety of the Alice Holt Forest, a royal forest situated near the border with Surrey. The nearest railway station is 1.8 miles (2.9 km) northeast of the village, at Bentley. According to the 2011 census, the parish had a population of 1,817 people.The village was first mentioned as being part of the Hundred of Netham at the time of the Domesday Survey in 1086. The history of Binsted from the 11th to 19th centuries is not documented, owing to its isolation and non-involvement in controversial activity. The parish has 58 Grade II listed buildings, and one Grade I building – the Church of the Holy Cross.

Wheatley is a hamlet in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is 1.1 miles (1.8 km) southeast of the village of Binsted, 4.1 miles (6.6 km) east of Alton. The nearest railway station is Bentley, 1.9 miles (3.1 km) north of the village.

Kingsley Halt was a railway station on the Bordon Light Railway which served the village of Kingsley, Hampshire, England. The station had been constructed by the London and South Western Railway (LSWR) in the hope that the area would attract residential development, but this did not happen. The LSWR had purchased an area of land far larger than that what was actually used, as they hoped to construct a large station and goods yard. A primitive halt with a single platform opened some months after the line's opening, consisting merely of a nameboard, noticeboard, lamp and seat.Declining passenger traffic and reduced military activities at Bordon after the Second World War saw the line's closure to regular services in 1957. Kingsley Halt was demolished soon after closure, and nothing now remains except the shape of the trackbed, now used as a farm track.

Kingsley Stream is a tributary of the River Slea that lies in Hampshire, England. It joins the Oakhanger Stream by Kingsley Mill, south of the village. It is regarded by the Environment Agency as the headwaters of the Slea.

The village was formerly served by Kingsley Halt on the Bentley to Bordon branch line. The parish includes Kingsley Common.

Isington is a hamlet in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It lies just south of the A31 road, a mile (1.6 km) southwest of the village of Bentley and four miles (6.4 km) northeast of the market town of Alton. At the 2011 Census the Post Office confirm that the population was included in the civil parish of Binsted. The nearest railway station is Bentley, 1.1 miles (1.8 km) east of the hamlet. Isington Mill was the home of Field Marshal The 1st Viscount Montgomery of Alamein.

Wyck is a hamlet in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is 1.1 miles (1.8 km) northeast of the village of East Worldham, 2.5 miles (4.0 km) east of Alton, just off the B3004 road. It has a total of 24 households, 3 of which are in the Wyck Place Estate. It is a small hamlet with an agricultural heritage and it is walking distance from its closest neighbours, East Worldham and Binsted. It is in the civil parish of Binsted.

Shortheath Common is a 59.5-hectare (147-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Bordon in Hampshire. It is also a Local Nature Reserve and a Special Area of Conservation.The common has areas of bracken, woodland, heath and a pond, but its main ecological interest is a large valley mire. Much of it is covered by Sphagnum mosses, but there are also many vascular plants, such as velvet bent and the insectivorous round-leaved sundew. The invertebrates are also of particular interest, including 23 breeding species of dragonfly.

Kingsley Common is a 41-hectare (100-acre) protected area in Kingsley, Hampshire, England. The site holds many rare species of animals and birds. Some species of plants and animals may also be subject to special protection under Part I of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or under the Habitats Regulations 1994.

Binswood is a 62.5-hectare (154-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest southeast of Alton in Hampshire.This is a small surviving part of the Royal Forest of Woolmer. It is mainly unimproved grassland with scattered trees and areas of dense woodland, and the oldest trees may be 200 years old. It is still managed as a wood with common rights of grazing, and actively managed wood pasture is now a rare habitat.The site is a registered common which is crossed by public footpaths.

King John's Hill is the site of an Iron Age hillfort located in Hampshire, in southeast England. The hill is situated in the parish of Worldham, in East Hampshire District. It is a Scheduled Ancient Monument with a list entry identification number of 1020314, and a Monument Number of 243207.King John's Hill is a small multivallate hillfort, a fort with multiple defensive rings, and has been dated on ceramic evidence to approximately 100 BC. It was later reoccupied during the medieval period, with 13th–14th century AD building traces and pottery fragments. These have been identified as the potential remains of a hunting lodge traditionally said to have been built by King John.
