Pasay, officially the City of Pasay (Filipino: Lungsod ng Pasay; IPA: ['pasaɪ]), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 440,656 people.Due to its location just south of Manila, Pasay quickly became an urban town during the American colonial period.

Libertad station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Pasay. It is situated at the corner of Taft Avenue and Arnaiz Avenue. The station is named after the former Libertad (Spanish for "liberty") Street, which is a junction of both Roxas Boulevard and Taft Avenue in Pasay. The name Libertad survives as an area name, nowadays, after Libertad Street became a part of Antonio Arnaiz Avenue. Libertad station is the third station for trains headed to Fernando Poe Jr., the eighteenth station for trains headed to Baclaran, and is one of the four stations serving Pasay, the others are Gil Puyat, EDSA, and Baclaran.

Tramo Street is a major local road in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. It runs north-south from Ocampo Street in the border with Malate, Manila to Andrews Avenue in Maricaban. It is interrupted by Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and the MRT Line 3 line which divides the road into two sections, the southern section running from EDSA to Andrews Avenue having been renamed to Aurora Boulevard. The street's name is Spanish for branch or line, referring to the Cavite Line which was a branch of the Manila tranvía (tramo del tranvía).

City University of Pasay (Filipino: Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasay), commonly abbreviated as CUPasay, is a city government-controlled, public university in Pasadeña St., F.B. Harrison, Pasay.

Gil Puyat station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Pasay. It is named as such because the station lies immediately above Gil Puyat Avenue. The avenue itself is named after Gil Puyat, a former senator and statesman. Gil Puyat station is the fourth station for trains headed to Fernando Poe Jr., the seventeenth station for trains headed to Baclaran, and is one of the four Line 1 stations serving Pasay, the others are Libertad, EDSA and Baclaran. The station is a major transfer point for passengers bound for the Makati Central Business District.

Tomás Mapúa Mansion (Mapua Mansion) is the house built by Don Tomás Mapúa himself. The house is located along the stretch of Taft Avenue (formerly Calle Rizal/ Highway 50) in Pasay.

Francis Burton Harrison Avenue, commonly known as F. B. Harrison Avenue or Harrison Avenue, is a major north-south collector road in Pasay, western Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a four-lane undivided arterial running parallel to Roxas Boulevard to the west and Taft Avenue to the east, from Pasay's border with Malate district in the north to Baclaran in Parañaque in the south. The avenue is named for U.S. Governor-General of the Philippines, Francis Burton Harrison.

The Philippine School for the Deaf (PSD), formerly known as the School for the Deaf and Blind (SDB), is a learning institution for individuals with hearing impairments in the Philippines. Established in 1907, the institution is a semi-residential school and is the only deaf school owned by the Philippine government.

Avenida Antonio Arnáiz Somoza, or simply Avenida Arnáiz, formerly known as Calle Libertad and then Calzada de Pásay, is a major east–west collector road that links Makati and Pasay in the Philippines. It stretches across western Metro Manila from Roxas Boulevard in Pasay to Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Makati. The Osmeña Highway splits Arnaiz Avenue into two sections. The western section found in Pasay is a congested and highly pedestrianized road that used to be known as Calle Libertad. This section passes through some of the most important Pasay landmarks such as the Cuneta Astrodome, Cartimar shopping district and Santa Clara de Montefalco Church. Also located within the vicinity are the Department of Foreign Affairs building, old Pasay City Hall, Pasay City Sports Complex, and Pasay Cemetery. East of Osmeña Highway, the avenue enters the Makati Central Business District where it merges with traffic from a Skyway ramp near the Amorsolo Street junction. It continues across Legazpi and San Lorenzo villages of the Makati CBD which contains several office towers and condominiums such as Cityland Pasong Tamo Tower and Avida Towers, a number of Japanese restaurants, a Walter Mart mall, the old Plaza Fair, Don Bosco, and the Ayala Center. This section of the road in Makati used to be known as Pasay Road. Its eastern terminus is at its junction with EDSA near Dusit Thani Hotel. The avenue was named after the Filipino aviation pioneer, Col. Antonio Somoza Arnaiz. The western section is served by the Libertad LRT Station along Taft Avenue, while the eastern section is served by the Pasay Road railway station along Osmeña Highway, and the Ayala MRT Station along EDSA. A small 1.6-kilometer (0.99 mi) long portion of a continuation of the road in Dasmariñas Village, Makati is also called Pasay Road from EDSA to Tamarind Road.

The Philippine Law School (PLS), founded in 1915, is a law school in the Philippines. It formerly served as the college of law of National University. It has produced lawyers such as Philippine President Carlos P. Garcia, a member of the class of 1923 who placed 8th in the Bar Examinations with a rating of 86.60%. President Diosdado Macapagal was also a PLS law student until his sophomore year, later transferring to the University of Santo Tomas. The school also produced Senate President Neptali A. Gonzales, and Atty. Anacleto R. Mangaser, who holds the third highest official general average in the history of the Bar Examinations (95.85%).

The secretary of foreign affairs is a member of the Cabinet.

The Manila Adventist College or MAC (formerly known as Manila Adventist Medical Center and Colleges, Inc. or MAMC) is a private coeducational Christian tertiary health sciences institution. The campus is located inside the campus of Adventist Medical Center Manila within the city of Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines and is run by the hospital. Both the colleges and hospital are run by the Seventh-day Adventist Church of the Philippines. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system.
