Arnaiz Avenue

Pasay Road station is a railway station located on the South Main Line in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is one of two stations (the other is Santa Mesa) in the line to have its own access road. It is named after Pasay Road, the old name of the Makati section of the adjacent Arnaiz Avenue. The station is the tenth station from Tutuban and is one of three stations serving Makati, the other two being Dela Rosa and EDSA. It is the only station in Makati, and the only station between España and Alabang, which serves intercity trains, being a stopping point for the Bicol Express and Mayon Limited. In addition to having its own dedicated access road, Pasay Road station is also one of three stations (the others being Santa Mesa and España) to have its original platforms extended and raised in order to accommodate new PNR diesel multiple units. The original platforms have been retained for the use of Commuter Express locomotives and especially for intercity trains.

AMA School of Medicine, located in Makati, Philippines, was founded by Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz V in 2008. Currently the school has three campuses. AMA School of Medicine applies problem-based teaching methodology, and hands on work such as dissection of cadavers, which increases the students familiarity of the human body. Currently, majority of its students are from the Philippines, India, South Korea, Middle East and some countries in Southeast Asia.

Dela Rosa station is a railway station located on the South Main Line in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. Dela Rosa is the ninth station from Tutuban and is one of three PNR stations serving Makati, the other two being Pasay Road and EDSA. Dela Rosa station is the replacement of Buendia station, which closed on September 7, 2017.On August 1, 2018, Dela Rosa station became part of newly opened Caloocan shuttle line until September 10 when the line was extended to FTI railway station as the new terminus of the said line.

Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati, or simply "Don Bosco Makati." is a private Catholic educational institution owned and operated by the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB). Its campus is located at Chino Roces Avenue Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. In January 1954, the cornerstone of Don Bosco Makati was laid down, during the term of then, Servant of God Fr. Carlo Braga, SDB, as Provincial. At the same year, construction of the first building was completed which housed the chapel, the convent, a youth center, and the auditorium. Salesian priests namely Fr. Quaranta, Fr. Jua, Fr. Righetti, Fr. Patrick Ryan, and Brother Nicolino Tambascia started to work at the Youth Center. In January 1955 Religious clubs, youth groups and catechism classes were formed. In June of the same year the Grade School edifice was built. Enrollees for Grades V, VI and for first year in the secondary level were accepted. In 1956 the first thirty six (36) Grade VI pupils were the first graduates from Don Bosco Makati.

The Beacon – Roces Tower is a residential condominium skyscraper in Makati, Philippines, and has a height of 158 meters (518 ft). It is the first of three towers, and part of The Beacon complex. The Beacon was developed by Geo Estate Estate Development Corporation in cooperation with New Pacific Resources Management, Inc. Groundbreaking for the project was on January 28, 2008, while actual construction works for Roces Tower started on February 8, 2008. The building opened in 2011, while the initial hand-over of units to residents started in August 2011. Roces Tower also has 44 stories above ground, and a sister twin tower, the Amorsolo Tower, which has the same dimensions as the Roces Tower. Topping-off ceremonies were held last July 21, 2009.

Tramo Street is a major local road in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. It runs north-south from Ocampo Street in the border with Malate, Manila to Andrews Avenue in Maricaban. It is interrupted by Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and the MRT Line 3 line which divides the road into two sections, the southern section running from EDSA to Andrews Avenue having been renamed to Aurora Boulevard. The street's name is Spanish for branch or line, referring to the Cavite Line which was a branch of the Manila tranvía (tramo del tranvía).

The Beacon – Arnaiz Tower is a residential condominium skyscraper in Makati, Philippines. It is the second of three towers, and part of The Beacon complex. The Beacon was developed by Geo Estate Estate Development Corporation in cooperation with New Pacific Resources Management, Inc. Groundbreaking for the project was on January 28, 2008, while actual construction works for Arnaiz Tower started on May 14, 2008. The building was expected to be opened by 2011. The building was topped-off on June 15, 2012, and has started turn-over of units to its residents by August 2013. The building was officially declared complete by early 2014. No official height was announced, but Arnaiz Tower has 50 storeys above ground, taller than her two other sister towers, the Roces Tower and the Amorsolo Tower.

Buendia station is a former railway station located on the South Main Line in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. Buendia was the ninth station from Tutuban and is one of three stations serving Makati, the other two being Pasay Road and EDSA. It was permanently closed in favor of a newly constructed, more spacious Dela Rosa station located south across Dela Rosa Street.

The Beacon – Amorsolo Tower is a planned residential condominium skyscraper in Makati, Philippines. It will be the last of three towers, and part of The Beacon complex. The Beacon is being developed by Geo Estate Estate Development Corporation in cooperation with New Pacific Resources Management, Inc. Groundbreaking for the project was on January 28, 2008, while actual construction works for Amorsolo Tower has not yet commenced.No official height is announced, but Amorsolo Tower will have the same dimensions as its twin, the 45-storey Roces Tower, which is already under construction.

Chino Roces Avenue, formerly known as (and still commonly referred to as) Pasong Tamo, is a prominent north–south road in the cities of Makati and Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines It runs for 5.80 kilometers (3.60 miles) from Olympia and Tejeros to Fort Bonifacio. The avenue is named after Joaquin "Chino" Roces, journalist, founder of The Manila Times and Associated Broadcasting Company (now TV5), and an opposition figure during the Marcos Sr. administration. The fact that the avenue is the location of various media establishments influenced the renaming.The northern end of Chino Roces Avenue is at the intersection with J. P. Rizal Avenue. It heads southwesterly across the residential and commercial barangays of Olympia, Tejeros, Santa Cruz, and La Paz. After the intersection with Yakal Street in San Antonio, the avenue bends to the south, becoming more commercial as it approaches Gil Puyat Avenue. The road continues southwards through the western limits of the Makati CBD, bending slightly southwesterly between Dela Rosa and Don Bosco Streets. The avenue then becomes mixed commercial and industrial as it continues on a straight route to EDSA. South of EDSA via a narrow channel under the Magallanes Interchange, its extension serves as a frontage road to South Luzon Expressway. It is lined with light industries and car dealerships on both sides, as well as a few factory outlets, in an area also known as Mantrade or Kayamanan-C. The road ends at Lawton Avenue within Fort Bonifacio in Taguig, near Sales Interchange. Chino Roces has a short extension north of J. P. Rizal Avenue into Barangay Carmona as A. P. Reyes Avenue. The part of Chino Roces from Rufino Street to Arnaiz Avenue is home to several Japanese restaurants and shops, earning it the nickname "Little Tokyo".The avenue originated as a short street in what was historically known as Malolos Subdivision, a residential subdivision in Tejeros and Olympia. As suggested by surrounding streets in such area named similar to places that played significant roles during the Philippine Revolution (e.g. Malolos, Barasoain, Novaliches, Binakod, Zapote), Pasong Tamo may be named after a barrio in Caloocan (now a barangay in the present-day Quezon City) where the Battle of Pasong Tamo occurred. Its name also comes from an indigenous plant called tamo that once grew there abundantly. It was then extended towards Ocampo Street in the 1940s and later towards southern Makati circa 1950s, making it a major road.

According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 440,656 people.Due to its location just south of Manila, Pasay quickly became an urban town during the American colonial period.

St. Mary's Academy of Pasay also known by its acronyms SMA and SMA-P, is a private, Catholic co-educational basic education institution run by the Religious of the Virgin Mary in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was established as the “Escuela Catolica de Pasay” in 1922 by a parish priest, Rev. Fr. Egmidio Trinidad.
