Horsebridge is a small village in the civil parish of King's Somborne in the Test Valley district of Hampshire, England. Its nearest town is Stockbridge, which lies approximately 3.6 miles (5.2 km) north-east from the village. The village has one pub, named the John O'Gaunt Inn.The village formerly had its own railway station, which ran between Romsey and Andover on the Sprat and Winkle Line, but this was closed down in 1962.

Michelmersh Court is a former rectory in the village of Michelmersh in Hampshire, southern England. A Grade II* listed building, it is now a private house. Built in the late 18th century, it was altered and extended in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was bought by the broadcaster David Frost in the 1980s. He hosted such people as Margaret Thatcher and former United States President George H. W. Bush at Michelmersh Court.

Michelmersh is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Michelmersh and Timsbury, in the Test Valley district, in the county of Hampshire, England. It is 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Romsey. The Monarch's Way long-distance footpath crosses the parish, passing through the churchyard of the 12th century St Mary's Church. The Georgian former rectory, Michelmersh Court, is Grade II* listed and was for many years the home of Sir David and Lady Carina Frost.The parish is located to the east of the River Test on the northern edge of the Hampshire Basin, with chalk in the north. To the south and east of the village this is overlain by Palaeocene sands and clays of the Lambeth Group. At the southern are younger deposits of Eocene age, sloping from a ridge of the Nursling sands into a valley of London Clay. It has a brick and tile works, and extensive former sand pits on Casbrook Common, now used as a landfill site. The name Michelmersh is derived from the Old English micel + mersc, meaning ' large marsh'.

Brook is a small medieval hamlet situated 1–2 miles south of the village of King's Somborne in the Test Valley, Hampshire. Brook features on a number of mediaeval maps of Hampshire and England, and has a significant population until the 17th century, when the population was decimated by the plague. The most significant building in Brook today is Brook Farm House, an 18th-century farmhouse which may have been the manor house of the village. It is a Grade II listed building.

Timsbury is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Michelmersh and Timsbury, in the Test Valley district, in Hampshire, England. It is near the town of Romsey, mainly along the A3057 road running north from Romsey towards Stockbridge, and shares a boundary with the village of Michelmersh. It has a population of approximately 400.

Horsebridge was a railway station on the closed Sprat and Winkle Line which served the Hampshire village of Houghton. It closed in 1964, a casualty of the closure programme proposed by the Beeching Axe which sounded the death knell for many rural railway stations.

Testway is a 5-mile (8 km) off-road cycle path in Hampshire, England. The path follows the route of the disused Sprat and Winkle Line between Stonymarsh and Stockbridge and runs in between the River Test and the A3057 road. The Testway is part of regional cycle route 65 which connects national cycle route 24 to Chilbolton. There is parking at the southern end of the cycle path, however there is a 6-foot (1.8 m) height restriction on the entrance to the car park. There is also parking close by to the northern end of the cycle path off Cow Drove Hill.

The 1987 IFMAR/Parma 1:10 Electric Off-Road World Championship was the second edition of the IFMAR 1:10 Electric Off-Road World Championship that was held on the at now defunct Romsey Club which was based on the cite of the Malthouse Inn in Timsbury, Hampshire, near Southampton on the Central South Coast of England.

The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is an arboretum comprising 72 hectares (180 acres) accommodating over 42,000 trees and shrubs in about 12,000 taxa, notably a collection of oaks, camellia, magnolia and rhododendron.The Gardens are located 5 km (3 mi) northeast of the town of Romsey in Hampshire, England, and were formerly known simply as the Hillier Arboretum, founded by nurseryman Harold Hillier in June 1953 when he acquired Jermyn's House and its grounds. The arboretum was given to Hampshire County Council in 1977 to be managed as a charitable trust. Sir Harold Hillier was knighted in 1983, just two years before his death at age 80 in 1985.The Gardens were listed as Grade II on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens in 1997.
