Jamaica is a station in Mexico City Metro. It is located in Venustiano Carranza borough, in Mexico City and serves the Sevilla neighbourhood.

La Viga is a station along Line 8 of the metro of Mexico City.The station's logo is a pair of fishes since the neighborhood it serves (Colonia Jamaica) is home to Mercado de La Viga – one of the larger seafood markets in Mexico City.From 23 April to 18 June 2020, the station was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico.

Colonia Paulino Navarro is a colonia or neighborhood in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City, just southeast of the city’s historic center. Its boundaries are defined by the following streets: Ventura G. Tena and Hernández y Dávalos to south, Calzada de la Chabacano to the north, Calzada de la Viga to the east and Calzada de San Antonio Abad to the west.The origins of the neighborhood date from 1905, when Iñigo Noriega proposed urbanizing what was then called Colonia La Paz. Plans for the construction of housing subdivisions were approved by the city in 1907, forming streets and blocks, but it did not officially establish the administrative division of colonia. The project then stalled. In 1913, the Agrícola y Colonizadora Mexicana Company proposed a similar project, but this, too, ran into problems. By 1920, there were houses and blocks but only semi-organized, with houses and other properties encroaching on other private properties and colonias. Colonia La Paz was a rather large area with eventually broke off into several smaller colonias. Paulino Navarro broke off by 1920 from the center of La Paz, which is now called Colonia Asturias. Around the same time, the first houses were built on the drying lakebed in this area, as well as the roads of Calzada de San Esteban, known today as Calzada del Chabacano and other major roads such as Eje 3 José Peón Contreras.Today the colonia is still almost entirely residential with mostly working-class families.(delegacion) All of the schools in the colonia are public and include Papaloapan Prescool and several primary schools, all with the name of Quetzalcoatl.

Colonia Ampliación Asturias is a neighborhood in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City. It is located southeast of the historic center of Mexico City. It borders are marked by the following streets, to the north Eje Tres Sur or Avenida Calzada del Chabacano, Calzada de la Viga to the east, Calzada de San Antonio Abad to the west and Hernandez Davalos street to the south.The origins of the neighborhood are based in the extension of neighboring Colonia Asturias. "Ampliación" means "amplification." Prior to the 1940s, the area was pasture and farmland, growing alfalfa and corn. The original Colonia Asturias is marked by Calzada del Chabacano, formerly known as Calzada de San Estaban. This road was extended to the La Viga area along a canal that was here. This canal, which passed the length of the current neighborhood, was an important venue to transport goods for sale and consumption, using wind or steam-powered boats. This canal connected with another called La Esperanza, which connected to the canals that connected the center of Mexico City to Chalco in the 19th century. However, by the end of the centuries, dropping groundwater tables dried up enough of the canals to make transport between these two entities impossible in this manner.The drying of the area allowed for road construction and the creation of this colonia, along with the expansion of Asturias and the creation of Colonia Vista Alegre. Connecting them is Calazada de Chabacano, named such for the large quantity of apricot (chabacano) trees that used to grow in the area.One of the main Metro stations serving the neighborhood is Metro Chabacano, from which pass Lines 2 and 8 which pass on the edges of the colonia. Line 8 passes through the neighborhood and connects Metro Chabacano with Metro La Viga, which is on the eastern border of the colonia. The neighborhood is part of the Cuauhtémoc borough, which as of 2007 was home to seven of the ten most crime-plagued colonias in Mexico City. Although Ampliación Asturias is not one of these seven neighborhoods, it has one reputed "hot spot" for crime, which is the area around Calzada de Chabacano, Jose A Torres, Juan A Mateos and Jose Sotero Castañeda streets in the area that borders with Colonia Vista Alegre.

Mixiuhca is a metro station along Line 9 of the Mexico City Metro serving the Colonia Jardín Balbuena and Colonia Magdalena Mixiuhca districts in the Venustiano Carranza borough of Mexico City, Mexico. The station's icon is a silhouette of a woman holding a newborn baby. In the Nahuatl language mixiuhca means "place of births". The origin of this name comes from one of the Aztecs' migration stories. When the Aztecs first came to the Valley of Mexico, they lived for a long time in a place called Tizapan. However, they were violently expelled from there. Legend states that they ran out to the surrounding swamps using their shields and spears as rafts for the women and children. They ran across three places: Mexicaltzingo, Iztacalco and Temazcaltitlán, and precisely there, in that last place, one of the women gave birth to a child. From then on, the name of that place became Mixiuhca.The station was opened on 26 August 1987. From 23 April to 21 June 2020, the station was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico.

Colonia Vista Alegre is a colonia in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City just south of the city's historic center. The boundaries of the colonia are formed by the following streets: Calzada de Chabacano to the south, José T. Cuellar to the north, Colonia Paulino Narvarro to the east and Calzada de Tlalpan to the west. The name, which translates to “Happy View,” derives from the view of what was then countryside which permitted views of the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanos as well as the Sierra del Ajusco and Sierra de las Cruces mountains.

Colonia Tránsito is a colonia or neighborhood in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City, just south of the city's historic center. It is a residential area although there has been recent redevelopment for more commercial uses. It contains two colonial era churches (one in ruins), a number of buildings containing public offices and it is the home of soft drink maker Pascual Boing.

Colonia Asturias is a colonia or neighborhood in the Cuauhtémoc borough, south of the historic center of Mexico City. It is a lower-class residential neighborhood, whose borders are formed by the following streets, Calles Hernández y Dávalos in the north, Viaducto Piedad in the south, Calzada de la Viga in the east and Calzada San Antonio Abad in the west.

The 11th federal electoral district of Mexico City (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 11 de la Ciudad de México; previously "of the Federal District") is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 22 such districts in Mexico City. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the fourth region. The current member for the district, elected in the 2024 general election, is Elena Edith Segura Trejo of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena).

Venustiano Carranza is a borough (demarcación territorial) in the Mexico City. Venustiano Carranza extends from the far eastern portion of the historic center of Mexico City eastward to the Peñón de los Baños and the border dividing the then Federal District from the State of Mexico. Historically, most of the territory was under Lake Texcoco, but over the colonial period into the 20th century, the lake dried up and today the area is completely urbanized. The borough is home to three of Mexico City's major traditional markets, including La Merced, the National Archives of Mexico, the Palacio Legislativo de San Lázaro, the TAPO intercity bus terminal and the Mexico City Airport.

Chabacano (Spanish: [tʃa.βa'ka.no] (listen); Mexican Spanish transl. "Apricot") is a Mexico City Metro transfer station in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City. It is served by Lines 2 (the Blue Line), 8 (the Green Line) and 9 (the Brown Line). It is a combined underground and at-grade station whose platforms are distributed into two side platforms and one island platform—the Spanish solution layout. Chabacano station is located between San Antonio Abad and Viaducto stations on Line 2, between Obrera and La Viga stations on Line 8, and between Lázaro Cárdenas and Jamaica stations on Line 9. It serves the colonias (neighborhoods) of Ampliación Asturias, Obrera, and Vista Alegre. The station's pictogram depicts an apricot and it was named after a previously existing street that had multiple apricot trees. Chabacano station opened on 1 August 1970 with service on Line 2 northward toward Pino Suárez station and southward toward Tasqueña station. Southeasterly service on Line 8 toward Constitución de 1917 station and northward toward Garibaldi station began on 20 July 1994. Line 9's west-east service from Centro Médico to Pantitlán started on 26 August 1987. The station serving Line 2 had to be rebuilt when the transfer stations were built. The station facilities are accessible for people with disabilities as there are elevators and access ramps; inside, there is an Internet café, an information desk, a cultural showcase, a private library, and a mural titled Civilización y Cultura by José de Guimarães. The station also served as a film location for the 1990 film Total Recall, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Javier Álvarez named a composition after the station. In 2019, the station had an overall average daily entrance of 43,617 passengers.
