Kingersheim (French pronunciation: [kiŋ(ɡ)əʁsaim] ; German pronunciation: [kɪŋɐsˌhaɪ̯m]; Alsatian: Kingersche) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department, Grand Est (formerly Alsace), northeastern France. It forms part of the Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération, the inter-communal local government body for the Mulhouse conurbation. A few centuries ago, it was still a small village but nowadays Kingersheim has become the eighth municipality of the Haut-Rhin. The town is mainly a residential district but we can also find an important commercial area which extends up to Wittenheim. Its inhabitants are called Kingersheimois and Kingersheimoises.

The Mosque al-Nour (also known as Mosque an-Nour; French: Mosquée An-Nour or Centre An-Nour) is a mosque in Mulhouse, France. It was launched in 2009 for the construction of a religious and cultural center for the Muslim community in Mulhouse, the second largest city in the Alsace region.Kuwait and Qatar are the main funders of this project, administered by AMAL (Association des Musulmans d’Alsace, Alsace Muslim Association), a prominent Muslim association established in Mulhouse in 1973 with the goal of advocating for a place of worship for the local Muslim community as well as for their education, and social, cultural and economic engagement.

The Doller (French pronunciation: [dɔlɛʁ]) is a river in Alsace (Haut-Rhin), in north-eastern France. It is a left tributary of the Ill (a tributary of the Rhine), in Mulhouse. It is 46.5 km (28.9 mi) long.The source of the Doller is in the Vosges Mountains, east of the Ballon d'Alsace, at 940 metres (3,080 ft) elevation. It flows generally east, through the towns Sewen, Dolleren, Masevaux, Sentheim, Reiningue, before it enters the Ill in Mulhouse.

The Christian Open Door Church (Mission du Plein Évangile – Église Porte Ouverte Chrétienne [POC]) is a French Evangelical charismatic multi-site megachurch whose main place of worship is located in Mulhouse. It is the second largest Evangelical church in France, with over 2,200 people. The church is a member of the Francophone part of the Federation of Full Gospel Churches and the Conseil national des évangéliques de France. The senior pastor is Samuel Peterschmitt.

Wittenheim (French pronunciation: [vitənaim] ; in Alsatian Wìttana, [ˈvɪd̥ana]) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department, Grand Est, northeastern France. It is one of the northern suburbs of the city of Mulhouse, and forms part of the Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération, the inter-communal local government body for the Mulhouse conurbation. The commune contains two mining villages, the Cité Jeune-Bois and the Cité Sainte-Barbe.
