Toulouse-Saint-Agne is a railway station in Toulouse, Occitanie, France. The station is located on the Toulouse–Bayonne and Toulouse–Saint-Agne–Auch railway. The station is served by TER (local) services operated by the SNCF.

The Great Mosque of Toulouse (French: Grande Mosquée de Toulouse) is a mosque in the French city of Toulouse. It opened in 2018. The mosque is located in the Empalot neighbourhood in the south of the city and has a capacity of 3,000. The funds for the €6 million project came mainly from a 13-year campaign by the nearby Al-Nour Mosque, itself established in 1989. Additions came from the French state, Algeria (€213,000) and Kuwait (€131,000). The imam, Mohamed Tataï, turned down donations from Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in 2006 and 2007.The building has three prayer halls, one of which is reserved for women, and a Quranic school. It is decorated with Tunisian marble, rugs and doors from Turkey, Egyptian chandeliers and Moroccan stucco. On the exterior, there is a gilded dome and a minaret. The architect was Christian Barthe.

The Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse (Institute of Fluid Mechanics of Toulouse, abbreviation IMFT) is a joint research laboratory involving the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (INPT), the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Paul Sabatier University. The laboratory develops research activities related to the physics of flows. It is based on an island in the centre of the Garonne river, in Toulouse.

Stadium de Toulouse is the largest multi-purpose stadium in Toulouse, France. It is currently used mostly for football matches, mainly those of the Toulouse Football Club, as well as rugby matches for Stade Toulousain in the European Rugby Champions Cup or Top 14. It also hosts the test matches of France's national rugby union team. It is located on the island of Ramier near the centre of Toulouse. It is a pure football and rugby ground, and therefore has no athletics track surrounding the field. The stadium is able to hold 33,150 people.The stadium was built in 1937 for the 1938 FIFA World Cup (but again under construction, the World Cup matches were playing in the Stade du T.O.E.C., 4 kilometers further North) and has undergone two extensive renovations, in 1949 and 1997. The stadium staged six matches during the 1998 FIFA World Cup.It was also used as a host venue during the 2007 Rugby World Cup for games such as Japan-Fiji, won by the latter 35–31. On 13 November 2009 the stadium hosted international rugby again when France hosted South Africa. At the time, South Africa were leading the series by 20 wins to 10 (6 drawn).Michael Jackson performed in front of 40,000 people during his Dangerous World Tour on 16 September 1992.

Toulouse Football Club is French professional football club based in Toulouse. The club was founded in 1970 and currently plays in Ligue 2, the second division of French football, but will play in Ligue 1 in the 2022–23 season. Toulouse plays its home matches at the Stadium de Toulouse located within the city. Les Pitchouns have won Ligue 2 on three occasions. Toulouse have participated in European competition five times, including in 2007 when they qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time.The president of Toulouse FC is Damien Comolli, who succeeded the French businessman Olivier Sadran who took over the club following its bankruptcy in 2001 which resulted in it being relegated to the Championnat National. The club has served as a springboard for several players, most notably the World Cup-winning goalkeeper Fabien Barthez and international striker André-Pierre Gignac.

The Jardin des Plantes (7 hectares) is a public park and botanical garden located on Allée Jules-Guesde, Toulouse, France.

The Jardin botanique Henri Gaussen is a botanical garden operated by the Université Paul Sabatier at 39 allées Jules Guesde, Toulouse, Haute-Garonne, Midi-Pyrénées, France. It is open weekdays in the warmer months. The botanical garden was originally created by Philippe-Isidore Picot de Lapeyrouse in the Jardin des Plantes (7 hectares) established within the grounds of a Carmelite monastery requisitioned during the French Revolution. It was divided into sections (medicinal plants, industrial, edible), and eventually grew to incorporate more than 5000 species from the nearby Pyrenees and around the world. Today's garden is maintained by the Université Paul Sabatier as an adjunct to the natural history museum of Toulouse. It contains about 2500 taxa of plants in an ethnobotanical collection arranged into sections of medicinal, industrial, and edible plants, as well as six greenhouses (450 m²) and a herbarium with about 300,000 specimens. Of particular interest are its collections of toxic plants (840 species), tropical plants (145 species), epiphytes (300 species), succulents (730 species), and carnivorous plants (90 species). Its collections also include about 4500 photographic plates and 35,000 diapositives taken by Prof. Henri Gaussen documenting the flora of the French Pyrenees. The Arboretum de Jouéou is also administered as part of this garden.

The Château Narbonnais was a castle of the Counts of Toulouse on the west side of the city Toulouse. The castle featured prominently in the Cathar wars.

The Muséum de Toulouse (Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle de la ville de Toulouse, MHNT) is a museum of natural history in Toulouse, France. It is in the Busca-Montplaisir, houses a collection of more than 2.5 million items, and has some 3,000 square metres (32,000 sq ft) of exhibition space. Its Index Herbariorum code is TLM.

Rangueil (Languedocien: Ranguèlh) is a residential area south-east of Toulouse in Haute-Garonne, France, where grandes écoles and Universities are located as well as an important scientific complex.

The "Centre d’Élaboration de Matériaux et d’Etudes Structurales" (CEMES) is a CNRS laboratory located in Toulouse, France. CEMES is a public fundamental research laboratory specializing in solid state physics, nanosciences, molecular chemistry and materials science. Its activities cover a spectrum from synthesizing (nano)materials and molecular systems to study and modelling of their structures and physical properties (optical, mechanical, electronic and magnetic) and their integration in devices. An important part of the laboratory’s experimental activity is studying and manipulating individual objects whose characteristic sizes are at the nanometric or atomic scales. Most of this experimental work uses state-of-the-art instrumentation supported by instrumental and methodological developments in the laboratory’s fields of transmission electron microscopy, near-field microscopy and optical spectroscopy. These research and development themes integrate modelling and theoretical studies carried out at different scales within the laboratory. CEMES is a CNRS laboratory associated with Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier University and Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse (INSA). Created in 1988, CEMES followed the previous Laboratoire d’Optique Electronique (LOE) created in 1957 by Prof. Gaston Dupouy.In contact with the academic community, CEMES is involved in training given at the university at every level: Bachelor, Master and Doctorate. CEMES currently hosts about 160 people. In 2022 this included: 40 full-time CNRS researchers, 26 University professors or assistant professors, 36 engineers, technicians and administrative staff, and 12 postdocs, 31 Ph.D. students, and many undergraduate students.
