Toulouse Football Club is French professional football club based in Toulouse. The club was founded in 1970 and currently plays in Ligue 2, the second division of French football, but will play in Ligue 1 in the 2022–23 season. Toulouse plays its home matches at the Stadium de Toulouse located within the city. Les Pitchouns have won Ligue 2 on three occasions. Toulouse have participated in European competition five times, including in 2007 when they qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time.The president of Toulouse FC is Damien Comolli, who succeeded the French businessman Olivier Sadran who took over the club following its bankruptcy in 2001 which resulted in it being relegated to the Championnat National. The club has served as a springboard for several players, most notably the World Cup-winning goalkeeper Fabien Barthez and international striker André-Pierre Gignac.

The Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse (Institute of Fluid Mechanics of Toulouse, abbreviation IMFT) is a joint research laboratory involving the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (INPT), the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Paul Sabatier University. The laboratory develops research activities related to the physics of flows. It is based on an island in the centre of the Garonne river, in Toulouse.

The Great Mosque of Toulouse (French: Grande Mosquée de Toulouse) is a mosque in the French city of Toulouse. It opened in 2018. The mosque is located in the Empalot neighbourhood in the south of the city and has a capacity of 3,000. The funds for the €6 million project came mainly from a 13-year campaign by the nearby Al-Nour Mosque, itself established in 1989. Additions came from the French state, Algeria (€213,000) and Kuwait (€131,000). The imam, Mohamed Tataï, turned down donations from Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in 2006 and 2007.The building has three prayer halls, one of which is reserved for women, and a Quranic school. It is decorated with Tunisian marble, rugs and doors from Turkey, Egyptian chandeliers and Moroccan stucco. On the exterior, there is a gilded dome and a minaret. The architect was Christian Barthe.

An 1880 law forced private schools to stop using the name "University", the university has been known since as the Catholic Institute of Toulouse.The Catholic Institute of Toulouse is one of five universities founded by the bishops of France.The Catholic Institute of Toulouse is a member of the International Federation of Catholic Universities, which includes 200 Catholic universities across the world and is one of 5 French Catholic institutes, including with Angers, Lille, Lyon and Paris. On December 18, 2008, French government officials and the Vatican signed a decree in Paris regarding the recognition of diplomas, which entered into force on April 16, 2009 entered into force. The university's qualifications, certificates and diplomas have been recognized around the world.

The Château Narbonnais was a castle of the Counts of Toulouse on the west side of the city Toulouse. The castle featured prominently in the Cathar wars.

The Château d'Eau is a nineteenth century water tower, near to the cours Dillon, just next to the Pont-Neuf, in Toulouse, France. It was originally designed as a water tower but it is now a photography gallery. Founded in 1974 by Jean Dieuzaide and directed by Jean-Marc Lacabe since 2001, it's one of the oldest public places dedicated to photography in the world,

The Hôtel de Felzins in Toulouse, France, is a Renaissance hôtel particulier (palace) of the 16th century, also called Hôtel de Molinier. This mansion located in the historical center of Toulouse was built in the middle of the 16th century (1550-1556) for parliamentarian Gaspard Molinier. The hotel is representative of the Toulouse mansions, characteristic with its Renaissance motifs. It is particularly noteworthy for its Mannerist portal on the Rue de la Dalbade, with rich and exuberant decor. A room on the ground floor has preserved its monumental fireplace of the sixteenth century, Henry II style. Engraved above the upper bas-relief, which represents the demi-god Hercules, are the mentions Hercules Gallicus and Charitas nunquam excidit. Two medallions represent Roman emperors.

The Hôtel de Bagis in Toulouse, France, is a Renaissance hôtel particulier (palace) of the 16th century. It is a listed historical monument since 1889.It is also called Hôtel de Clary, after the owner who carried out the second campaign of works at the beginning of the 17th century, or Hôtel de pierre (meaning «stone hotel») because of its spectacular stone façade on the street.

Saint-Nicolas Church is located in Saint Cyprien neighbourhood on the west side of the Garonne River, just outside the old city walls of Toulouse.
