The Koishikawa Arsenal (小石川工廠, Koishikawa Kōshō), formally Imperial Japanese Army Tokyo Arsenal (日本帝国陸軍東京砲兵工廠, Nippon Teikoku Rikugun Tokyo Hōheikōshō) was an arsenal in the Koishikawa area of Tokyo, on the grounds of today's Tokyo Dome City and the Koishikawa Kōrakuen Garden. It was located on the ground of the former residence of the Prince of Mito.

The Koishikawa Kōrakuen (小石川後楽園) is a large urban park in the Koishikawa neighborhood of Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan. The Japanese garden dates from the early Edo period. and is one of three surviving daimyō gardens of the many that were created during that period, the others being the Rikugi-en and the Hama Rikyū gardens.

The Koishikawa Yojosho was a Japanese hospital located in Koishikawa, Edo, in what is now the Bunkyō municipality of the Tokyo Metropolis of modern Japan. The hospital was established in 1722 by the shōgun Tokugawa Yoshimune in the herb gardens of what is now the Koishikawa Botanical Gardens at the suggestion of the town physician Ogawa Shosen. The hospital offered its services only to the indigent. It was eventually merged into Tokyo University's medical school.

Chuo University (中央大学, Chūō Daigaku, lit. central university), commonly referred to as Chuo (中央) or Chu-Dai (中大), is a private flagship research university in Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 1885 as Igirisu Hōritsu Gakkō (the English Law School), Chuo is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in the country. The university operates four campuses in Tokyo: the largest in Hachiōji (Tama campus), one in Bunkyō (Korakuen campus), and two others in Shinjuku (Ichigaya and Ichigaya-Tamachi campuses). Chuo is organized into six faculties, ten graduate schools, and nine research institutes. There are also four affiliated high schools and two affiliated junior high schools. When written in Chinese characters, Chuo University shares the same name with National Central University in Taiwan and Chung-Ang University in South Korea.

Tokyo Dome City (東京ドームシティ, Tōkyō Dōmu Shiti), referred to as Big Egg City before January 1, 2000, is an entertainment complex in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. It also includes the world's largest roofed baseball stadium, known as Tokyo Dome (AKA "Big Egg"); an amusement park known as Tokyo Dome City Attractions (formerly Kōrakuen Yūenchi); and Korakuen Hall. In May 2003, a spa resort known as LaQua opened for business near Tokyo Dome City Attractions. It also hosts character shows for Toei Company's Toei Superheroes, including the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series (the Tokyo Dome Corporation is the Super Sentai series' main sponsor). The Tokyo Dome City contains the Tokyo Dome Hotel, a 43-story hotel that is easy to spot from the street and from the Tokyo Subway Suidobashi Station, which is only two blocks away.

The Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum (野球体育博物館, Yakyū Taiiku Hakubutsukan) is a museum which includes a library, reference rooms and Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame (野球殿堂, Yakyū Dendō). It first opened in 1959 next door to Korakuen Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. In 1988, the museum moved to a new site within the Tokyo Dome. The Hall of Fame and Museum was created as a means to contribute to the development of baseball in Japan through dedication of baseball greats—players, executives, and umpires—as Hall of Famers. In addition, the facility houses many memorable baseball materials including various kinds of baseball literature.

Tokyo Dome (東京ドーム, Tōkyō Dōmu, TYO: 9681) is an indoor stadium in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. Construction on the stadium began on May 16, 1985, and it opened on March 17, 1988. It was built on the site of the Velodrome, adjacent to the predecessor ballpark, Korakuen Stadium. It has a maximum total capacity of 57,000 depending on configuration, with an all-seating configuration of 42,000.Tokyo Dome's original nickname was "The Big Egg", with some calling it the "Tokyo Big Egg". Its dome-shaped roof is an air-supported structure, a flexible membrane supported by slightly pressurizing the inside of the stadium. It was developed by Nikken Sekkei and Takenaka Corporation. It was modeled after the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome.It is the home field of the Yomiuri Giants baseball team, and has also hosted music concerts, basketball, American football and association football games, as well as puroresu (pro-wrestling) matches, mixed martial arts events, kickboxing events, and monster truck races. It is also the location of the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame which chronicles the history of baseball in Japan. It became the first Japanese venue with an American football attendance above 50,000.

Kōrakuen Station (後楽園駅, Kōrakuen-eki) is a subway train station in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Tokyo subway operator Tokyo Metro. It is directly connected by an underground pedestrian passage to the Toei-operated Kasuga Station. It is integrated with the Tokyo Dome City complex and the Bunkyō ward capitol building.

The boxing competition at the 1964 Summer Olympics was held from 11 to 23 October. The competition was for men only and there were ten weight classes.

Korakuen Hall (Japanese: 後楽園ホール, Hepburn: Kōrakuen Hōru) is an arena in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, which has hosted many boxing, professional wrestling, kickboxing, mixed martial arts and Lethwei matches. The hall is inside the Tokyo Dome City, it is one of Tokyo's biggest attractions. It opened on April 16, 1962, and has a capacity of approximately 2,005 people. The venue hosted the boxing events for the 1964 Summer Olympics. In the area of pro wrestling, it is considered the Madison Square Garden of puroresu, as all of Japan's largest promotions have run some of their larger shows there, much akin to the WWF/E's monthly show at MSG in the 1980s. In March 2011, as the hall suffered structural damage under the influence of the Tōhoku earthquake, the events scheduled for the time being, including WBC triple female world title fight, were postponed or canceled. The repair work was completed on March 18. The Hall was closed until the next day, then gradually resumed a variety of events.On October 27, 2016, the hall became the chosen venue for the International Lethwei Federation Japan. The Lethwei Grand Prix Japan 2016 was the first event of the promotion held at the venue.

Iidamachi Station (飯田町駅, Iidamachi-eki) was a railway station on the Chūō Main Line located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Iidamachi Station was operated by Kōbu Railway, Japanese Government Railways, Japanese National Railways and Japan Freight Railway Company (JR Freight). Its location was 0.5 km from Suidōbashi Station and 0.4 km from Iidabashi Station. The station was built in 1895 as the terminal of the Kōbu Railway, a predecessor of the present Chūō Main Line. It ceased to serve passengers in 1933, but continued to serve freight until 1997. After the closure, the site of the station was redeveloped and became a business district named I-Garden Air. One of the buildings in the area is the headquarters of JR Freight.

The Bunkyo Civic Center (文京シビックセンター) is the government building for Bunkyo ward in Tokyo, Japan. Its 25th floor houses a free observation deck. The building was completed in 1994. It has been described as a "colossal Pez candy dispenser" by The Japan Times. The building is near the Tokyo Dome, Tokyo Dome Hotel, Tokyo Dome City, and Tokyo Dome City Attractions.
