Bunkyo Civic Center

The Kodokan Judo Institute (公益財団法人講道館), or Kōdōkan (講道館), is the headquarters of the worldwide judo community. The kōdōkan was founded in 1882 by Kanō Jigorō, the founder of judo, and is now an eight-story building in Tokyo.

This museum is now closed. Try the Uta Memorial Museum near Meijijingumae Station to see Ukiyo-e prints from Hiroshige, Hokusai and others. Koishikawa Ukiyo-e Art Museum (礫川浮世絵美術館, Koishikawa Ukiyo-e Bijutsukan) is located in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan. Its collection includes ukiyo-e genre paintings from the Edo period, in particular, prints by Utamaro, Hokusai and Hiroshige. Every month the museum changes the ukiyo-e exhibition. This small museum was opened in November 1998. Its aim is to promote understanding of ukiyo-e culture. The museum is about 2 minutes on foot from Kōrakuen Station, near the Bunkyo Civic Center. It is open　from 11:00 until 18:00, and the entrance fee is 500 yen.

Kōrakuen Station (後楽園駅, Kōrakuen-eki) is a subway train station in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Tokyo subway operator Tokyo Metro. It is directly connected by an underground pedestrian passage to the Toei-operated Kasuga Station. It is integrated with the Tokyo Dome City complex and the Bunkyō ward capitol building.

Thunder Dolphin (サンダードルフィン) is a steel roller coaster at the Tokyo Dome City Attractions amusement park, which is part of Tokyo Dome City in Tokyo, Japan. The ride was designed and constructed by Intamin. At 80 metres (262.5 ft) tall, Thunder Dolphin is one of the tallest continuous circuit roller coasters in the world, currently ranked number 10. Following an incident in which a 25 centimetres (9.8 in) long bolt fell from the ride while in motion on 5 December 2010, injuring a 9-year-old visitor, operation of the ride was suspended until 1 August 2013, when the ride reopened.Thunder Dolphin's 1,066.8 metres (3,500 ft) long course passes through both a hole in the LaQua building, and through the Big-O, the world's first centerless Ferris wheel. Thunder Dolphin has a maximum speed of 130 kilometres per hour (81 mph).

Kasuga Station (春日駅, Kasuga-eki) is a subway station in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, operated by Toei Subway. It is located next to Kōrakuen Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and Tokyo Metro Namboku Line. It is built under the Bunkyo City Office building.

The Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum (野球体育博物館, Yakyū Taiiku Hakubutsukan) is a museum which includes a library, reference rooms and Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame (野球殿堂, Yakyū Dendō). It first opened in 1959 next door to Korakuen Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. In 1988, the museum moved to a new site within the Tokyo Dome. The Hall of Fame and Museum was created as a means to contribute to the development of baseball in Japan through dedication of baseball greats—players, executives, and umpires—as Hall of Famers. In addition, the facility houses many memorable baseball materials including various kinds of baseball literature.

Tokyo Dome City (東京ドームシティ, Tōkyō Dōmu Shiti), referred to as Big Egg City before January 1, 2000, is an entertainment complex in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. It also includes the world's largest roofed baseball stadium, known as Tokyo Dome (AKA "Big Egg"); an amusement park known as Tokyo Dome City Attractions (formerly Kōrakuen Yūenchi); and Korakuen Hall. In May 2003, a spa resort known as LaQua opened for business near Tokyo Dome City Attractions. It also hosts character shows for Toei Company's Toei Superheroes, including the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series (the Tokyo Dome Corporation is the Super Sentai series' main sponsor). The Tokyo Dome City contains the Tokyo Dome Hotel, a 43-story hotel that is easy to spot from the street and from the Tokyo Subway Suidobashi Station, which is only two blocks away.

Big O (ビッグ・オー, Biggu ō) is a centerless non-rotating Ferris wheel at Tokyo Dome City in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan.Big O has a diameter of 60 metres (200 ft), and was listed as the world's largest centreless Ferris wheel by Guinness World Records in 2006. Joysound karaoke machines were added to eight of its forty gondolas in August 2017. Tokyo's largest roller coaster, the 130 kilometres per hour (81 mph) Thunder Dolphin, passes through the centre of the wheel.

Tokyo Dome (東京ドーム, Tōkyō Dōmu, TYO: 9681) is an indoor stadium in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. Construction on the stadium began on May 16, 1985, and it opened on March 17, 1988. It was built on the site of the Velodrome, adjacent to the predecessor ballpark, Korakuen Stadium. It has a maximum total capacity of 57,000 depending on configuration, with an all-seating configuration of 42,000.Tokyo Dome's original nickname was "The Big Egg", with some calling it the "Tokyo Big Egg". Its dome-shaped roof is an air-supported structure, a flexible membrane supported by slightly pressurizing the inside of the stadium. It was developed by Nikken Sekkei and Takenaka Corporation. It was modeled after the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome.It is the home field of the Yomiuri Giants baseball team, and has also hosted music concerts, basketball, American football and association football games, as well as puroresu (pro-wrestling) matches, mixed martial arts events, kickboxing events, and monster truck races. It is also the location of the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame which chronicles the history of baseball in Japan. It became the first Japanese venue with an American football attendance above 50,000.

Tokyo Dome City Attractions (東京ドームシティアトラクションズ, Tōkyō Dōmu Shiti Atorakushonzu) is an amusement park located next to the Tokyo Dome in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan, and forms a part of the Tokyo Dome City entertainment complex. It opened in 1958, and was formerly known as Korakuen Amusement Park (後楽園ゆうえんち, Kōrakuen Yūenchi) until April 2003. It was one of the most popular amusement parks in Tokyo. Rides include the Big O Ferris wheel and Thunder Dolphin roller coaster.
