Sir Peter Blake Marine Education & Recreation Centre (MERC) is a not for profit charity (Registration Number CC29903) based in Long Bay, Auckland, New Zealand. MERC offers marine-based environmental education and outdoor recreational experiences to schools, not-for-profit organisations, and business and corporate groups.MERC can accommodate up to 85 people at any time for overnight stays and activities, and up to a total of 120 people per day. A day programme consists of 3 activities on the day and instruction is given between 9am and 4pm. There is scope to organise short duration, single day and multi-day courses, and these are specifically developed to meet the needs of each group. MERCs facilities have separate teacher/leader accommodation, multi-purpose hall, wheelchair access and large kitchen & dining facilities. The Centre's mission statement is to provide life-changing marine environmental education and outdoor experiences for young New Zealanders.

It is open fortnightly to the public.

The Corelli International Academic School of the Arts was an independent co-educational art-focused school in Browns Bay, Auckland, New Zealand founded in 2001. The school was a member of the Independent Schools of New Zealand (ISNZ). It went into receivership in 2016.

Rothesay Bay is a small suburb in Auckland's East Coast Bays region. The suburb is roughly the same size as Murrays Bay, the suburb to the immediate south. The name is taken from the small inlet into the Hauraki Gulf, which can be accessed via Rothesay Bay Road. Directly south of Pōhutukawa Bay Beach is Granny's Bay Beach, and a little further south is Long Bay Regional Park. The beach is accessible only at low tide, and it is among one of Auckland's most popular naturist beaches. Public nudity is technically legal on any New Zealand beach where it is "known to occur". Getting to the beach requires going through the coastal track, a 6 km (3.7 mi) walk that starts from the beach carparks, and ends at the Okura River.

Northcross is a northern suburb of the North Shore in the contiguous Auckland metropolitan area in New Zealand. It is located north of the Waitematā Harbour and is currently under local governance of Auckland Council. The suburb houses East Coast Bays who are current Champions of the 2010 Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Premier.
