Northcross Intermediate is a state coeducational intermediate school located in the Northcross suburb in the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. Years 7 to 8 are the year group (ages ranging from 10 to 13). The school has 1334 students as of February 2023,. Jonathon Tredray is currently the school principal. The school focuses on "providing a dynamic and student centered learning environment in these very important years of an adolescent’s growth and development." They have a wide range of extra curricular activities, mainly focused in sports and other activities.

Long Bay College has a large zone boundary including the upper east coast bays, Brookfield, Albany, Albany heights, Redvale, Coatesville, Paremoremo and Brighams creek. Long Bay College in NCEA school exams 88.5% of students passed in Level 1 year 11 a 2.8% decrease compared to last year, 89.6% of students passed in Level 2 year 12 a 3.5% decrease compared to last year, 88.4% of students passed in Level 3 year 13 a 4.5% increase compared to last year, 76.1% of students entered universities a 0.7% decrease compared to last year.

Browns Bay is one of the most northernmost suburbs in the contiguous Auckland metropolitan area, located in the North Shore. It is located in the East Coast Bays area, a string of small suburbs that form the northernmost part of the North Shore of Auckland. Albany Lakes Civic Park is a public park located in Albany, New Zealand, a suburb of Auckland. It is adjacent to the Westfield Albany shopping mall, in the centre of a new commercial/town centre area that is being developed. The park comprises two artificial lakes that serve both as landscape features and stormwater ponds. The lakes were created in the late 2000s, though the park took somewhat longer to finish, and much of the new vegetation is still in the process of growing in as of 2010.Providing an assembly/grassland area allowing up to 10,000 people to the north of the lakes, the park was designated as one of the 'fan zones' for the Rugby World Cup 2011.
