Crown Hill is a suburb of the North Shore located in Auckland, New Zealand. It is under the local governance of the Auckland Council for local government purposes. The population was 3,519 in the 2013 census. This was an increase of 249 people since the 2006 Census.

Westlake Boys High School is a state secondary school for boys located in Forrest Hill, Auckland, New Zealand. The school opened in 1962, when Westlake High School (opened 1958) split into Westlake Girls High School on the existing site and Westlake Boys High School on a new site. Serving Years 9 to 13, the college has 2567 students as of February 2023.Westlake Boys considers itself to follow a 'traditional but progressive' model similar to that in operation at Auckland Grammar School.Westlake Boys now features recently constructed facilities, including a new administration block, student services centre, and large auditorium capable of holding all of the school's students and staff simultaneously. Westlake Boys Deputy headmaster David Ferguson took on the role of Headmaster of Westlake Boys High School, taking over from Craig Monaghan, a former Commonwealth Games Judo representative and referee.Westlake Boys introduced a house system at the end of 2007 where each individual belongs to one of six houses: Pupuke, Ururoto, Hood, Smale, Murchison and Stanley.

Sunnynook busway station is the smallest station on the Northern Busway in Auckland, New Zealand. It is located in the suburb of Sunnynook. Many passengers walk to the station, one of the busiest on the busway, as it does not have park and ride facilities like the other busway stations.It has shelters, electronic real-time information and passenger drop off and pick up, but does not have ramps allowing feeder buses to enter the station. The next station southbound is Smales Farm busway station. The next northbound is Constellation busway station.

It also has a popular swimming beach, which runs some two kilometers from Black Rock in the south to Castor Bay in the north. The Wairau Creek reaches the sea at the Hauraki Gulf at the northern end of Milford Beach, and its lower tidal reaches host the Milford Marina. Milford is part of the North Shore electorate, which is currently represented by National member of parliament Simon Watts.

The Northern Motorway passes to the east, and the Wairau Park shopping complex extends to the north. The valley is drained by the Wairau Creek, which flows on through Milford and discharges into the Hauraki Gulf from an estuary at the northern end of Milford Beach.

Carmel College is a Catholic secondary school for girls located in Milford on Auckland's North Shore. It was established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1957 starting with a student roll of only 15 girls. The College's brother school is nearby Rosmini College.

Sunnynook is a suburb on the North Shore in the Auckland metropolitan area in New Zealand. It is currently under the governance of Auckland Council. The suburb is centred on the Sunnynook Shopping Centre and the nearby Sunnynook Park. A skateboard bowl is located in the park, which is also home to the Glenfield Greyhounds rugby league club. Sunnynook residents have access to the Northern Busway rapid transit bus link via the Sunnynook busway station.

The Eventfinda Stadium (originally known as the North Shore Events Centre) is an indoor arena located in the North Shore City suburb of Wairau Valley, Auckland, New Zealand. The arena opened in 1992 and has a capacity of 4,179.It primarily hosts community events and was previously the home arena of the New Zealand Breakers, who play in the Australian NBL. It also hosts concerts, expos, trade shows, conferences, netball, MMA, cheerleading and dance. It has also hosted the New Zealand Badminton Open for over 10 years. In 2009, the arena hosted the final of the FIBA Under-19 World Championship. The final saw the United States defeat Greece 88–80.

Tōtara Vale is a suburb located on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. It is under the local governance of Auckland Council. The suburb contains Rewi Alley Reserve, which has a memorial to Rewi Alley, a New Zealander who lived most of his life in China.
