Villagers celebrate Ganesh Utsav, Gopal Kala, Navratri, Hanuman Jayanti and Ram Navmi and funfairs with much fun and devotion. Mr. Tulshiram Shinge (Senior Social Worker) confirms, Vaishakh Poarnima has first day of Waghbil Fair. On the first day of fair the goddess is worshiped "Mahadu Aai". Second day of the goddess is worshiped "Mari Aai". Villagers organize "Kushti Competition" (कुस्ती स्पर्धा)on the third day. On this occasion many people do travel to participate and watch this competition. This funfair ends on Sanakshti Chaturthi. During the four-day funfair, people from other villages are invited. The main foods eaten are mutton, chicken, and baked bhakris. As per Bandhu Gharat (civilian), local villager was built "Mahadu Aai" temple in a night by for devotion of the goddess. Villagers are also participating every year for "Shirdi pedestrian" after Diwali. Aaagari Vikas Samajik Sanstha in Waghbil Village: Aaagari Vikas Samajik Sanstha is an active non-governmental organization in Waghbil village which was formed in 2010 by the villagers of Waghbil for the betterment of local people.

Hiranandani Foundation School Thane is a school located in the Hiranandani Estate in the state of Maharashtra Thane, India. It was founded by Lakhumal Hiranand Hiranandani. The school was founded in 1999. It is affiliated to Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) board for 10th class and Indian School Certificate (ISC) for 12th class.It is the sister school of Hiranandani Foundation School Powai (ICSE) in Hiranandani Gardens in Powai.

Tikuji-Ni-Wadi is an amusement park, water park, and a resort near Mumbai and at Thane. The amusement park includes go-karts, roller coasters, giant wheels and water park. Additionally, there is a Shiva temple and marriage halls as a part of the resort. During Shivaratri, a Shiva ice replica is made. The park remains open during the rainy season. In 2013, a realistic-looking dinosaur park was started. The park, spread over 20 acres (8.1 ha) of land, is popular for greenery and a "UFO ride". There are several other activities and attractions such as go-karting, bumper-boats, dinosaur world, 9D adventure, aquarium and farm.

The 20.5-acre project includes themed parks, a three-acre lake with landscaped promenade, bridge for selfies and various other facilities like a 400m jogging track, amphitheater and an open gymnasium among others.

The Parshvanath College of Engineering was a private engineering college located in Kasarvadavali, Thane district of Maharashtra state in India. It was established in 1994, and was managed by the Parshvanath Charitable Trust. It was a Jain religious minority college (i.e., half of all seats are reserved for students from the Jain religious minority community). While it was functioning, it was affiliated to the University of Mumbai (a public university funded by the state government of Maharashtra), was accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) of the Government of India, and was recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of the state government of Maharashtra. It offered undergraduate education leading to the University of Mumbai's "Bachelor of Engineering" (B.E.) degree in any 1 of the following 6 disciplines: mechanical engineering, instrumentation engineering, computer engineering, information technology, civil engineering, and electronics and telecommunication engineering. The ordinary duration of these undergraduate courses is four years. In December 2012, following the conclusion of a case against the AICTE in the Supreme Court of India, the college was closed down, and all students were transferred by the DTE to other engineering colleges of the University of Mumbai for the remainder of their courses.
