The Parish of Our Lady of the Abandoned, also known as the Santa Ana Church and newly declared as the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Abandoned (Spanish: Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados), is a Spanish colonial period church located in the district of Santa Ana in Manila, Philippines. The parish was established by the Franciscan missionaries in 1578 under the patronage of Saint Anne. The present stone church was constructed by Father Vicente Inglés, OFM from 1720 to 1725 and was dedicated to its present patron, the Our Lady of the Abandoned. The revered image of its patron was made in Valencia, Spain in 1713 and arrived in the Philippines in 1717. The church houses two National Cultural Treasures declared by the National Museum of the Philippines: the Santa Ana Site Museum located in the convent patio and the Camarín de la Virgen (or the Dressing Room of the Virgin). The elevation to National Shrine was declared last January 25, 2020 during the 120th Plenary Assembly of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines. The conferment of the title to the parish church will be on June 20, 2020 (tentatively).

The Iglesia ni Cristo Museum is a museum in Punta, Santa Ana, Manila. The building of the museum was originally used as a place of worship and is the first local congregation of the Iglesia ni Cristo and is now used as a museum by the church. It is the location where founder Felix Manalo first preached about the Iglesia in 1914.

Namayan is a barangay in the city of Mandaluyong, Philippines. It is located in the western part of the city near the border with Santa Ana, Manila and Kasilawan and Carmona, Makati, separated from them by the Pasig River. The barangay covers an area of 30.60 hectares (75.6 acres) and is bordered by the barangays of Mabini–J.P. Rizal and Old Zañiga on the north, and Vergara on the east. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 7,670 people.Namayan was the center of a pre-Hispanic kingdom that covered much of the modern city of Manila and surrounding cities in southern and eastern Metro Manila.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo Locale of Punta (Filipino: Lokal ng Punta) is a chapel of the Philippine-based Christian religion, the Iglesia ni Cristo. Located at Punta, Santa Ana, Manila, it was completed on 1989 in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the church to replace the old chapel (now a museum) meters away from the current chapel, the congregation was the first locale of the church established in 1914. It was designed by architect, Carlos A. Santos-Viola in collaboration with the Iglesia ni Cristo Construction and Engineering Department.

The Santa Ana Heritage Zone is a portion of the district of Santa Ana, Manila, Philippines, that was declared a heritage zone in 2014 by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP). A larger portion of district was previously declared a histo-cultural heritage/overlay zone by the city government of Manila in 2011. Among the heritage structures in the zone is the Lichauco Heritage House, a residential building that was declared a heritage house by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines on July 10, 2010, and the Santa Ana Church, which houses two National Cultural Treasures declared by the National Museum of the Philippines: the Camarín de la Virgen, a chapel room located behind the church altar which contains the oldest dateable oil paintings in the country, and the Santa Ana Site Museum, which contains archaeological objects discovered by excavations conducted by the National Museum in 1966.

Santa Ana is a district in the City of Manila, Philippines. The Philippines–Thailand Friendship Circle is a traffic circle in Santa Ana, Manila in the Philippines, located at the intersection of Jose Syquia, M. Roxas, Revellin, and Zamora Streets, near the Santa Ana Public Market. Originally unnamed (residents of Santa Ana simply called it the "Rotonda", and still do today), the circle was given its present name by virtue of Ordinance No. 7964, authored by Councilor Luciano "Lou" Veloso and passed in 1999, as a reciprocal gesture after a street in Bangkok was named "Soi Philippines" the year before. While initially inaugurated during the visit of Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai to the Philippines that year, renovation works on the circle would not be complete until 2002.The circle was re-inaugurated on March 30, 2009 by Mayor Alfredo Lim, in commemoration of sixty years of Philippines–Thailand relations.

The Lichauco Heritage House, formally known as the O'Brien-Lichauco Heritage House is one of the oldest surviving houses in Santa Ana, Manila, Philippines. Originally built in 1859, the house was purchased in the late 1940s by a prominent Filipino lawyer and dignitary, Marcial Lichauco from a European family who had fled the Japanese occupation in the Philippines. The house was declared as a heritage house by the National Historical Commission on July 10, 2010. The Lichauco Heritage house is located along Pedro Gil Street. It is the only declared Heritage House in Santa Ana, and one of the only two declared heritage houses in Metro Manila along with Mira-Nila House in Quezon City.

The San Juan River is one of the main river systems in Metro Manila, Philippines, and is a major tributary of the Pasig River. It begins near La Mesa Dam as the San Francisco del Monte River, which officially takes the name San Juan River when it meets with Mariblo Creek in Quezon City. As the San Juan River, it passes through Quezon City, San Juan, the Manila district of Santa Mesa and Santa Ana, and Mandaluyong.Right-of-way issues caused the realignment of the Santa Mesa portion of the Skyway Stage 3. Instead of passing through Old Santa Mesa Street, the expressway now follows the course of the San Juan River from Araneta Avenue to Pasig River.

Pedro Gil Street (formerly Herran Street) is an east-west inner city street and a tertiary national road in south-central Manila, Philippines. It is 3.65 kilometers (2.27 mi) long and spans the entire length of Ermita, Malate, Paco, and Santa Ana. The street is served by the Pedro Gil LRT Station along Taft Avenue and the Paco railway station along Quirino Avenue. It also continues towards the central Metro Manila cities of Mandaluyong and San Juan across the Pasig River as New Panaderos and General Kalentong Streets. The street was named after Pedro Gil, a Filipino diplomat and legislator from Manila who first gained popularity in the area as a physician. It was previously known as Herran Street, after José Rafael de la Herrán y Lacoste, a Spanish captain (and Mayor of Tondo) during the Battle of Manila Bay.

Carmona is one of the 33 barangays of Makati, it is located in the northern part of the city. It is a residential area with a population of 3,109 recorded by the 2015 census. The barangay was named after Comandante Isidro Carmona, a Filipino soldier who fought during the Philippine Revolution against Spaniards. Carmona is the 2nd least populous barangay in Makati with 3,109 residents.
