Circuit Makati is a riverfront redevelopment project by Ayala Land on the site of the former Santa Ana Race Track in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. The 21-hectare (52-acre) site located in the northwest portion of Makati, on the south bank of the Pasig River, is planned to contain a mixed-use entertainment complex which would include an indoor theater, a shopping mall, hotels and residential and office skyscrapers. It would also contain a football turf, skate park and an outdoor entertainment area. The development is envisioned to become the new entertainment district of Makati and the city's lifestyle hub.

Namayan is a barangay in the city of Mandaluyong, Philippines. It is located in the western part of the city near the border with Santa Ana, Manila and Kasilawan and Carmona, Makati, separated from them by the Pasig River. The barangay covers an area of 30.60 hectares (75.6 acres) and is bordered by the barangays of Mabini–J.P. Rizal and Old Zañiga on the north, and Vergara on the east. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 7,670 people.Namayan was the center of a pre-Hispanic kingdom that covered much of the modern city of Manila and surrounding cities in southern and eastern Metro Manila.

The Philippines–Thailand Friendship Circle is a traffic circle in Santa Ana, Manila in the Philippines, located at the intersection of Jose Syquia, M. Roxas, Revellin, and Zamora Streets, near the Santa Ana Public Market. Originally unnamed (residents of Santa Ana simply called it the "Rotonda", and still do today), the circle was given its present name by virtue of Ordinance No. 7964, authored by Councilor Luciano "Lou" Veloso and passed in 1999, as a reciprocal gesture after a street in Bangkok was named "Soi Philippines" the year before. While initially inaugurated during the visit of Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai to the Philippines that year, renovation works on the circle would not be complete until 2002.The circle was re-inaugurated on March 30, 2009 by Mayor Alfredo Lim, in commemoration of sixty years of Philippines–Thailand relations.

J. P. Rizal Avenue, also known as J. P. Rizal Street, is a major local avenue in Makati and Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a contour collector road on the south bank of the Pasig River that runs east–west from Pateros Bridge at the Taguig–Pateros boundary to its intersection with Zobel Roxas, Delpan, and Tejeron Streets at the Makati–Manila boundary. The avenue was named after the Philippines' national hero, Dr. José P. Rizal. J. P. Rizal extends past beneath Circumferential Road 5 into East Rembo, Comembo, and the municipality of Pateros as J. P. Rizal Avenue Extension. West of Zobel Roxas, it continues as Tejeron Street, ending at Pedro Gil Street. The eastern section and extension between Guadalupe Nuevo and Pateros was formerly called Guadalupe–Pateros Road and its section from Lawton Avenue eastwards forms part of McKinley–Pateros Road.

The Santa Ana Heritage Zone is a portion of the district of Santa Ana, Manila, Philippines, that was declared a heritage zone in 2014 by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP). A larger portion of district was previously declared a histo-cultural heritage/overlay zone by the city government of Manila in 2011. Among the heritage structures in the zone is the Lichauco Heritage House, a residential building that was declared a heritage house by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines on July 10, 2010, and the Santa Ana Church, which houses two National Cultural Treasures declared by the National Museum of the Philippines: the Camarín de la Virgen, a chapel room located behind the church altar which contains the oldest dateable oil paintings in the country, and the Santa Ana Site Museum, which contains archaeological objects discovered by excavations conducted by the National Museum in 1966.

The Parish of Our Lady of the Abandoned, also known as the Santa Ana Church and newly declared as the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Abandoned (Spanish: Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados), is a Spanish colonial period church located in the district of Santa Ana in Manila, Philippines. The parish was established by the Franciscan missionaries in 1578 under the patronage of Saint Anne. The present stone church was constructed by Father Vicente Inglés, OFM from 1720 to 1725 and was dedicated to its present patron, the Our Lady of the Abandoned. The revered image of its patron was made in Valencia, Spain in 1713 and arrived in the Philippines in 1717. The church houses two National Cultural Treasures declared by the National Museum of the Philippines: the Santa Ana Site Museum located in the convent patio and the Camarín de la Virgen (or the Dressing Room of the Virgin). The elevation to National Shrine was declared last January 25, 2020 during the 120th Plenary Assembly of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines. The conferment of the title to the parish church will be on June 20, 2020 (tentatively).

Santa Ana is a district in the City of Manila, Philippines. It is located on the city's southeast, bordering the cities of Mandaluyong and Makati in the east, the city districts of Paco and Pandacan in the west, and Santa Mesa in the north. It is part of the 6th congressional district of Manila, with thirty-five barangays. Based on the 2020 national census, the Philippine Statistics Authority reports that the district has a population of 203,598.

Santa Ana Hospital is a 10-storey, 500-bed city-run hospital located in New Panaderos Street, Santa Ana, Manila, Philippines. It is also one of the six district hospitals of the City of Manila, catering its 6th district, which consists of Santa Ana, Santa Mesa, Pandacan, San Miguel, and the northern portion of Paco. It stands on the site of an earlier hospital, Trinity Hospital, which moved to a new location nearby in 1998. It was built through the partnership of the City of Manila and Lucio Tan's Tan Yan Kee Foundation. Tan wanted to name the hospital after his mother or father, while the city wanted to name it for former President Corazon Aquino. Both sides agreed on using the present name. The hospital was established on December 29, 2009, by virtue of Budget Ordinance 8206 passed by the Manila City Council during the term of Mayor Alfredo Lim. Construction started in 2009 and was completed in April 2010, with the hospital opening on April 28. On July 30, 2021, the hospital became a dialysis center, the third of its kind in the city.

South Avenue is a short extension of Ayala Avenue north of Metropolitan Avenue in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It forms the border between the Manila South Cemetery to the east and Barangay Santa Cruz to the west, running for 805 meters (2,641 ft) in a southwest–northeast direction from its southern terminus at Metropolitan Avenue to its intersection with J.P. Rizal Avenue in Barangay Olympia. Since 2017, it carries one-way northbound traffic, implemented as an effort to decongest traffic in and out of the Makati Central Business District. It has a short extension into Barangay Olympia and Circuit Makati (formerly the Santa Ana Race Track) as Taliba Street. It is also the location of the Ecoville Townhouses and F. Benitez Elementary School. The avenue originated from an old road linking J.P. Rizal, Makati's main road, to the Manila South Cemetery and eventually to McKinley–Pasay Road near the Nielson Field (now occupied by the Makati Central Business District). The origin of the name of the avenue is unclear, but it may be derived from the cemetery through which it passes.

The Cobangbang Ancestral House is a heritage house in Manila, Philippines built in 1930 by Aurelio Cobangbang. It is located within the heritage zone of Santa Ana, the only district in Manila which was spared from destruction during World War II.

The Lichauco Heritage House, formally known as the O'Brien-Lichauco Heritage House is one of the oldest surviving houses in Santa Ana, Manila, Philippines. Originally built in 1859, the house was purchased in the late 1940s by a prominent Filipino lawyer and dignitary, Marcial Lichauco from a European family who had fled the Japanese occupation in the Philippines. The house was declared as a heritage house by the National Historical Commission on July 10, 2010. The Lichauco Heritage house is located along Pedro Gil Street. It is the only declared Heritage House in Santa Ana, and one of the only two declared heritage houses in Metro Manila along with Mira-Nila House in Quezon City.
