National Stadium, Lagos

The Teslim Balogun Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. It is used mostly for football matches and serves as a home ground of First Bank FC. The Nigeria national rugby league team also use the venue. The stadium has a capacity of 24,325 people, and is sometimes used for international football matches. It once served as the venue for the Nigerian FA Cup final, just before it hosted some matches in the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup youth tournament held in Nigeria. It sits adjacent to the Lagos National Stadium.

Tenstrings Music Institute, incorporated in the United Kingdom and operating there as Africa Heritage Academy is a contemporary music conservatory in Nigeria, and is the country's largest music school with study centers in Ikeja, Surulere, Festac Town, Lekki, Port Harcourt and affiliated schools in other parts of the country. Over the last nine years, Tenstrings has enrolled students from at least ten other African countries, including Ghana, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Cameroon, etc.Tenstrings was founded in 2007 by Akapo Emmanuel - a Nigerian music educator, after several years of teaching music in both public and private institutions. His aim was to create a vocational training center for young and talented people who dream of pursuing careers in popular music; such as Hip Hop, R & B, Gospel, Afro Music, e.t.c, whom the regular classically oriented music schools were not catering to. Some of the notable activities and events organized periodically by the institute include; The Starmingle, HippyJams, Gospel Breakfast, Playing4Change and The Ones2Watch Concert.The school offers professional training in music business, singing, playing musical instruments, dance, music performance, disc-jockeying, music production, gospel music program, and sound engineering. In September 2016, it was reported that the school has trained over 7000 students in about a decade of its establishment. In 2015, the school institutionalized career management and promotional services for its protégées.

The Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital, also known as Yaba Psychiatric Hospital or Yaba Left, is a Nigerian Federal psychiatric hospital in Yaba, a suburb of Lagos.

Randle General Hospital is a state general hospital in the Surulere district of Lagos, Nigeria. It was established for community use in 1964 by Chief Majekodunmi and it was one of the first health care clinics in Surulere. The hospital is extremely busy, particularly in the accident and emergency department. This hospital was established to offer maternal and child health care, dental services, medical and surgical services etc. It is sometimes referred to as the Surulere General Hospital. The medical director of the hospital is Dr. Aduke Odutayo.The hospital recorded a total of 6929 patients visiting the dental section for the period of January to December in the year 2020.

Surulere is a residential and commercial Local Government Area located on the mainland of Lagos in Lagos State, Nigeria, with an area of 23 km2 (8.9 sq mi). At the last census in the year 2006, there were 503,975 inhabitants, with a population density of 21,864 inhabitants per square kilometer. The local government area is bordered by Yaba, Mushin and Ebute-Metta.

Yaba Bus Terminal is located along the Murtala Mohammed Way, Yaba Local Council Development Area in Lagos Mainland, an area of Lagos State, Nigeria. Yaba is a suburb which is located on the mainland in Lagos state. It has become a commercial, transportation, educational and entertainment hub. Yaba became a hub for various commercial activities, which has made it become a part of Lagos State Transportation Master Plan. It was inaugurated in 2021 and was built by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA), and publicly opened by the Lagos State Governor, Mr.Babajide Sanwo-Olu as part of a major transportation initiative. The bus terminal has been described as an "ultra-modern" structure.

The Jaekel House is a 2-storey colonial mansion in Ebute Metta, Lagos, Nigeria. The house was built in 1898 on a large expanse of landscaped land and named after the late Francis Jaekel OBE, a former superintendent of the Nigerian Railway Corporation who retired in the 1970s after almost three decades of active service. Jaekel House was formally the residence of the General Manager and was later converted to a senior staff rest house. The building has been renovated and restored by Professor John Godwin in collaboration with the Railway Corporation in 2010.The building is now a “mini Museum” showcasing photographic archives dating from 1940s through to 1970s of personalities, places, historical events in pre- and post-independent Nigeria and houses artefacts (tools, equipment, attires, pictures etc.) of the old Railway Corporation. It's also one of the fairy tale wedding locations in Lagos.Jaekel House and Museum is now managed and maintained by Legacy1995 to preserve the legacy of the earliest railway tracks, repair yards and sheds in Nigeria. Some scenes of Kunle Afolayan's Independence-era movie, October 1, 2019 biopic, The Herbert Macaulay Affair and a Simi music video were shot at Jaekel House.

Queen's College, Lagos, is a government-owned girls' secondary (high) school with boarding facilities, situated in Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. Often referred to as the "sister college" of King's College, Lagos, it was founded on October 10, 1927, when Nigeria was still a British colony. Nigeria has a 6-3-3-4 system of education. Queen's College takes the secondary pupils in the middle two phases. There are six year groups, or grades; each year group contains about 600 students divided into several arms. Recently, class sizes are an average of 55 per class. The total population for the 2022/2023 session was 3505 students. The school has returned the best results nationwide in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) seven times since 1985 and is widely considered to be one of the top schools in Nigeria, and one of the top girls' schools on the African continent. Federal Medical Centre Ebute-Metta, Lagos is a tertiary hospital located in Nigerian Railway Corporation Compound in Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

The National Theatre, Nigeria is the primary centre for the performing arts in Nigeria. The monument is located in Iganmu, Surulere, Lagos. Its construction was completed in 1976 in preparation for the Festival of Arts and Culture (FESTAC) in 1977. The National Theatre of Nigeria can be basically described as the NATIONAL HOME OF ENTERTAINMENT. Its management is committed to achieving the objectives for which the National Theatre was established, with regard to the presentation, preservation and promotion of arts and culture in Nigeria. As a partially commercialized Federal Government parastatal, it is determined to broaden its mandate by becoming more innovative and adventurous in order to become more relevant in the competitive market

College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL) also known as Medilag is the medical school affiliated with the University of Lagos in Nigeria. It is located in Idi-Araba, Lagos beside its sister institution, the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. The college has a total staff of 1,850 in 32 departments.

Yaba Cemetery is situated in Yaba, an eastern suburb of Lagos, Nigeria. It is a civil cemetery known locally as Atan Cemetery. The cemetery contains the largest concentration of World War II era war graves in Nigeria.
